10k steps accountability group on Telegram

I have been trying to get consistent with 10k steps again

During lockdown, I actually stayed really consistent because I had a small accountability group and I realized having people doing it alongside you makes such a difference. I was motivated, no I am not so consistent

So I am thinking of creating a small group for daily accountability, updates, motivation, and just encouraging each other to move our bodies consistently.

No pressure to be perfect , we can start slow and gradually build up the pace together like 5k , 6k upto 10k and more

The aim is simply to move, feel better, and stay consistent

If you’d be interested in joining, let me know

26F France | Coding | Youtube | Drawing | Sewing

Hi, I'm an engineer in IT and I have many personnal projects (too much ^^). They just need to be done at that point so I can start new creative processes !
I'm coding a 2d game in Unity, this one is going to take years, but currently I'm trying to code the basic systems.
I'm trying to film and publish videos on youtube regularly. So I have a lot of editing to do.
I also want to progress in drawing so I'm drawing every week, faces or just fun projects like Pokémon cards or art journal piece.
I have several sewing projects currently like thrift flip, jeans and a coat.

I wish I would find someone to stay motivated with. It's sometime difficult after my job to not sink into screens and lose the only time I have for my personal projects. I would like to communicate with someone (or several person in a small group ?) that also have a lot of personal creative projects. I love when people talk about what they accomplish, it never fails to motivate me.

Don't hesitate to tell me what you are working on !

Healthy Eating -Getting Fit

Looking for an accountability partner for fitness, healthy eating, and general self-improvement. Daily check-ins, motivation, sharing wins/failures, maybe the occasional “why did I eat that” confession. 😅

Would be cool to find someone who enjoys good conversation too — sarcasm, flirting with danger via cheat meals, and keeping each other on track. Consistency > perfection.

Do paid accountability groups work better?

I’m putting together a structured accountability group, and the entire goal is maximum commitment → maximum progress.

The more I look into this, the more I think investment matters psychologically. Free groups often struggle with consistency unless the stakes are extremely high (AA being an obvious example where the motivation is literally life or death).

Another example:
In places like Hawaii and Southern California, there are free outdoor workout stations everywhere. Yet most people still pay for expensive gyms they technically don’t need. Obviously convenience, environment, and culture matter too — but I think paying creates commitment.

When people invest financially, they tend to:
- show up more consistently
- value the process more
- feel a stronger cost to disappearing
- push harder to “get their money’s worth”

So I’m curious:

If success and commitment were the ONLY goal, what do you think is the ideal monthly investment for a serious accountability group?

Seeking a serious accountability partner for study, fitness, and routines

Looking for a serious long-term accountability partner

I’m an international med student in Turkey, looking for one serious accountability partner or a small group focused on consistent self-improvement.

I’d prefer someone related to medicine or healthcare, but it’s okay if you’re not. What matters most is that you’re serious and consistent.

My main goals are studying, improving English/Turkish, fitness, sleep, and better routines.

I’m not looking for constant chatting or motivation talks. I prefer something simple and sustainable: daily check-ins, sharing goals/progress, and weekly or monthly reviews by voice message or occasional call.

If interested, message me with your age, timezone/country, what you’re working on, and what kind of accountability works best for you.

21, looking for a workout accountability partner.

Trying to stay consistent with workouts and build better discipline, but I do better with regular check-ins and mutual accountability. Looking for someone serious about improving as well, so we can keep each other on track instead of constantly restarting.

A serious study pod. Show up. Study. Repeat.

Anyone here tired of studying/working alone and struggling with consistency?

I’m starting a small Serious Study Pod for people who genuinely want to show up, focus, and get things done.

Simple format:

3 live sessions daily

🌅 Morning

☀️ Afternoon

🌙 Evening

2 hours each

Using Google Meet

Mic off

No random chatting

No teaching

No distractions

Just deep work.

At the beginning of each session: → share your target

At the end: → share what you completed

Students, exam prep, coding, reading, building, learning anything goes.

If you genuinely want consistency and accountability, comment “interested.”

21F | UTC+6 | looking for students to help them overcome their procrastination

Most people fail to stick to their goals because they get stuck on “what” isn't working, but they rarely stop to ask “why” it’s happening in the first place. I have helped many people identify and work through the root causes of their inconsistency. Often, it is not a lack of willpower, it is a lack of a strategic plan or trying to do everything alone.

I am a microbiology student, so I know the pressure of a heavy workload. Also I went through a lot of academic and personal challenges myself. If you struggle with ADHD, procrastination, or just feeling overwhelmed, I can help. I am looking for 2-3 students to partner with for free for the next two weeks.
I am doing it to help students and also to sharpen my coaching skills.

My Process:

Firstly we will have a text-based deep dive to find out exactly where you are struggling.

then I’ll break down your goals into actionable daily tasks.

daily check-ins to help you stay on track.

If you are serious about your life and ready to “lock in” then do let me know.

37 (f) we need more accountability buddies to join our art Discord server

Hi. I created a Discord server with the intention of having a small group to help each other out when it comes to drawing and painting. It is mainly for people struggling to sit down and create art.

It is five of us so far, but some of us are still struggling, so I thought I might extend the invitation to some more people. Serious inquiries only. You do not have to draw or paint everyday, but you have to want to put effort into sitting down at least once a week to draw.

The group has resources to channels and videos to help you learn, and to help beat procrastination. We also have daily prompts that can help you if you don’t know what to draw. Additionally, we have Art Sessions, where we request for help. Whether it be a reminder or setting a time block with someone to draw at the same time, same day, even if you are not in the same state or country. Lastly we set goals for the week, and check in at the end of the week to see if we were able to complete our goals.

DM if genuinely interested and willing to commit. As I said, it doesn’t have to be a daily thing. You just have to want to set time aside to draw at least once a week, and help those struggling by reminding them to get things done.

Edit: Adults only please. Eighteen and over.

Edit: Closed. Thanks to everyone who reached out. I will be responding to those who are serious about this and respond in a mature manner.

Serious only - small squads

People say they want accountability, then disappear after a week.

What’s been working for me is simple:

- set a weekly goal (fitness / study / work / screen time / habits / etc.)
- check in daily with proof
- they notice if you don’t show up

No motivation, just showing up.

If you’re trying to stay consistent too, DM me.

[25M] Looking for a long-term Accountability Partner to lock in and build unstoppable habits (60-Day Cycles)

Hi everyone,

I’m a 25M who has been on a self-improvement journey for a while now. While I’ve made progress, I still find myself lacking consistency from time to time. I’m looking for a like-minded accountability partner on a similar path so we can keep pushing each other to the next level.

The Game Plan:

60-Day Cycles: We pick 2 daily habits (either installing a good one or uninstalling a bad one) and stick to them for 60 days.

90% Success Rate: While the ideal goal is 60 days straight without fail, we will shoot for a minimum 90% success rate to keep it realistic but disciplined.

Progressive Overload: Once those habits become automatic after 60 days, we move on to the next 2 habits for the next 60 days, and so on.

No Reverting: The entire point is permanent change. Going back to a bad habit or dropping a good one after the 60 days is a big NO-NO.

Requirements & Filters (Please Read Before Messaging):

Men Only: I am strictly looking for another male partner for this journey.

Time Zone: My time zone is GMT+5 / UTC+5. Ideally, you are in a similar or manageable time zone so our daily check-ins line up easily.

Long-Term Commitment Only: This is not a short-term sprint. Please do not message me if you only want to build one or two habits and then ditch the partnership. I am looking for someone to stay locked in for the long haul as we continuously stack habits cycle after cycle.

If you are genuinely serious about this and are ready for daily check-ins, please DM me with a bit about yourself, your location/time zone, and what habits you want to tackle first.

Let's do this!

42M Looking for Accountability Bud

I’m trying again to quit coffee and I think I’ve a much better chance if I’m not doing it alone.

Your reason for accountability doesn't matter just that you're committed on following through.

Flexible on what it looks like but ideally daily or near-daily check-ins and providing each other encouragement to help keep on track. 42M based in GMT/UTC but flexible on time.

If you want someone in your corner DM me 🚀

Why accountability fails

One thing I’ve noticed in a lot of accountability groups is that people still fall short on their goals because they match with unqualified accountability buddies.

Not in a harsh way, but if two people both struggle with consistency, procrastination, and following through… they usually end up enabling each other without realizing it.

A lot of accountability setups fail because there’s no structure, leadership, or someone who actually knows how to keep people on track.

I used to work as an Accountability Coach before founding an accountability platform, and honestly, the right match/accountability system makes a huge difference.

Curious if anyone else here has experienced this with accountability groups or partners?

Looking for an accountability partner

Hi! I’m looking for an accountability buddy who is genuinely serious about improving their lives consistently.

My main goals right now are:

  • Art consistency (drawing regularly, improving skills, sharing progress)
  • Weight loss / fitness
  • General productivity and building better habits

I’ve realized I do much better with external accountability because if something isn’t urgent, I tend to procrastinate heavily. I haven’t been diagnosed with ADHD, but I relate to a lot of the symptoms, so structure and consistency help me a lot.

What I’m looking for:

  • Someone reasonably consistent and serious about their goals
  • Preferably someone with creative, fitness, or productivity goals too
  • Someone comfortable being direct and calling each other out if one of us starts ghosting or avoiding things
  • Regular check-ins and actual follow-through instead of “I did it” 😅

I’m not looking to start a huge group or community — ideally just 1 or 2 people so we can actually build a solid accountability system.

We can figure out the details together via text and maybe a quick call:

  • daily vs weekly check-ins
  • body doubling / co-working sessions
  • progress tracking
  • schedules/time zones
  • how strict we want accountability to be etc

I also think a 30-day trial period would be good so there’s no pressure. If after 30 days we work well together, amazing. If not, no hard feelings.

Timezone and gender don't matter too much but I am based in Ireland.

If we seem like a good fit after chatting a bit, I’d ideally like to move to WhatsApp eventually since I’m much more responsive there than on most social platforms.

If this sounds like something you’d genuinely commit to, feel free to message me!

Accountability #3 Fun Fact

Public accountability can be so powerful that some people literally bet money against themselves to stay committed.

u/living_softly — 7 days ago

Are accountability partners flaking a common issue here?

Hey guys, this one's just mainly out of my own curiosity. I didn't see too much mention of this, but I did go through a couple of posts and saw some people mention their accountability partners flaking. I do some of my own goal-setting, but I've never really done it together with someone else, or had someone else really hold me accountable to them (at least not in years), so I'm just curious about what peoples experiences have been like through this subreddit.

Long-term accountability parter?

Hi everyone :)

I’m Caitlin, 26, from Ireland! I’m currently 122kg / 268lbs (I know 🙁).

Ideally I would like to lose 54kg / 118lbs. This won’t be a quick or easy feat.

I would love to get in contact with someone else in a similar age-range and want-to-lose range. I personally would find it really beneficial to have someone to share progress with and just to know someone is waiting counting on me for THEIR own progress. Ideally this would be weekly or as needed check ins (we can figure out what works best), and pictures (also daunting, I know).

Please, if anyone is interested dm me. I’ve gone through too many years of my weight yo-yoing and I’m just so upset with myself for not being able to commit to the journey. Thank you 🤍
