24F | IST | Looking for a thoughtful accountability buddy

Hey! I’m looking for people who’d be interested in a text-based accountability setup.

The main thing I’m working on right now is becoming a more consistent and disciplined person.

I’m naturally very curious and ambitious, and I have no shortage of things I want to learn, build or pursue. My problem is much more mundane: consistently doing the things I’ve decided matter, especially once the initial excitement wears off. I can be extremely productive in bursts, but I want to get better at showing up regularly, following through, tolerating the boring/repetitive parts of progress, and building a life that relies less on motivation.

Professionally, I’m currently working in communications, helping build a small business, and working towards a longer-term shift into research. Personally, I’m trying to become more agentic and intentional about how I live - building better intellectual hygiene, becoming a better learner and thinker, and developing sustainable habits around meditation, journaling and exercise.

Outside of that, I’m interested in psychology, behavioural science, AI & human behaviour, philosophy, systems thinking, business, and generally understanding how things work.

I tend to get along well with people who are curious, self-directed, reflective, and genuinely trying to grow. You don't need to have similar interests - meeting someone from a completely different field could actually be more interesting.

I’m also hoping for something slightly more meaningful than exchanging daily to-do lists. I’d like us to share what we’re trying to do, notice where we keep getting in our own way, hold each other to what we said we’d do, and occasionally bounce ideas/problems off each other.

I’d prefer to keep things text-based, at least initially. We could do brief check-ins during the week and a slightly longer weekly reflection. Nothing overly rigid - just enough structure to make it useful.

If this resonates, send me a little about what you’re currently trying to get better at or build, and something you’ve been really curious about lately. :)

IWTL how to accumulate my learnings

I read a lot and I've been struggling to recall and revisit information. I'd also want to connect it what I've read previouslt to synthesize new ideas.

What's the best way to store/apply your learnings?

I've been looking into second brains but I'm not sure if the maintenance work is suited to me because high maintenance systems are tough to sustain. (any good catchall systems y'all would recommend?)

Lemme know what works for you!

24 F building consistency and agency instead of waiting for motivation

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for one or two people who are genuinely committed to becoming more intentional about their lives.

Lately, I've been reading up a lot about agency, the idea that, even when life is messy or uncertain, we can still choose to take ownership of the things that are within our control. I don't think I'm "there" yet, but it's a muscle I'm actively trying to build.

I've realised that my biggest challenge isn't a lack of ambition or clarity. It's maintaining momentum. I often start things with a lot of energy, but I want to become someone who can consistently show up, even when motivation fades.

Right now, my priorities are:

  • Going to the gym 4-5 times a week
  • Building a consistent sleep schedule
  • Creating portfolio projects and case studies
  • Learning a new skill
  • Writing regularly for my blog

I'm looking for someone who's equally invested in their own goals because building alongside another person makes it easier to stay honest with ourselves.

Ideally, we'd:

  • Check in daily on what we planned vs. what we actually got done
  • Have occasional focus/co-working sessions
  • Share progress, ideas, and resources
  • Celebrate wins, however small
  • Call each other out (kindly) when we're making excuses or avoiding the work

More than productivity, I'm interested in becoming someone who follows through on the promises they make to themselves. I'd love to find people who are trying to build that muscle too.

If this resonates with you, send me a message telling me a bit about yourself, what you're working towards, and how you'd like a partnership like this to work.

Looking forward to hearing from you :)

24F | IST | Building consistency and habits

I've realised that my biggest challenge currently is maintaining momentum and maintaining consistency. I tend to start things with a lot of energy but struggle with consistently showing up over the long term. I'm trying to build systems and habits instead of relying purely on motivation, and I think it'd be much easier with someone who's equally committed to their own goals.

Right now, my priorities are:

  • Being active 4-5x a week
  • Fixing my sleep schedule (consistent waking and sleeping hours)
  • Building my portfolio (case studies, projects, etc.)
  • Learning a new skill
  • Writing consistently for my blog

I'm looking for someone who's ambitious (love a can-do spirit!), agentic and highly motivated towards working on their own goals too. I'd love to do:

  • Daily check-ins (planned to-dos vs. what actually got done)
  • Focus/co-working sessions
  • Weekly reviews to see what's working and what isn't
  • Calling each other out when we're making excuses or procrastinating

More than productivity, I'm interested in becoming someone who follows through on the promises they make to themselves. I'd love to find people who are trying to build that muscle too.

If you think we'd be a good fit, send me a message with a bit about yourself, what you're working towards, and how you'd ideally this set-up to work.
