48 yrs → 52 yrs | 4 years of training

2022 vs 2026.

Started taking fitness seriously at 48. Now 52. Looking back, the biggest change has been learning to stay consistent even when progress was slow.

No TRT, no crazy diets, no shortcuts. Just weight training, mostly home-cooked Indian food, enough protein and trying to keep the routine going year after year.

I train around 5 days a week, mostly weights. I’ve changed my routine over time and learned what works for me. I also avoid exercises that don't agree with my lower back and use more controlled movements when needed.

Diet is fairly simple. Around 2,000–2,200 calories depending on the phase, with roughly 130–150g protein. Eggs, chicken/fish, dal, rice, roti, vegetables, fruit, curd/Greek yogurt and whey. Nothing exotic.

There were plenty of plateaus and weeks when motivation wasn't great. Still showed up.

At 48, I never imagined I'd be posting a transformation at 52.

Still training. Still learning. Still trying to improve.

If you're getting older and thinking it's too late to make a change — it really isn't. 💪

27F pictures, or it didn't happen

I need toxic levels of accountability at this point.

I need us to connect twice daily,

once with a plan of what we need to do.

then pictures to prove that the actions have been completed. Absolutely every action from the list. If the action cant be verified with a picture, dont write it down.

If one of us fails to complete an item from the list, the other person blocks the other.

I need a heavy consequence to not showing up, otherwise I come up with excuses, cuddle my feelings continue thinking I can start again tomorrow and that everything is okay. I just get more lazy.

Please DM if this suits you.

Looking for an accountability buddy 🫡

I'm 25f, INFP, from India, looking for an accountability buddy!!

I seriously need one😭

I've got a lot of work to get done, study, find a proper job, complete some projects, manage a tiny home business.

I need help keeping me accountable, I can do the same.

we could take up on challenges, any projects, reading books and talk a little!

I don't want to do any VCs tho, text only.

24F | IST | Looking for a thoughtful accountability buddy

Hey! I’m looking for people who’d be interested in a text-based accountability setup.

The main thing I’m working on right now is becoming a more consistent and disciplined person.

I’m naturally very curious and ambitious, and I have no shortage of things I want to learn, build or pursue. My problem is much more mundane: consistently doing the things I’ve decided matter, especially once the initial excitement wears off. I can be extremely productive in bursts, but I want to get better at showing up regularly, following through, tolerating the boring/repetitive parts of progress, and building a life that relies less on motivation.

Professionally, I’m currently working in communications, helping build a small business, and working towards a longer-term shift into research. Personally, I’m trying to become more agentic and intentional about how I live - building better intellectual hygiene, becoming a better learner and thinker, and developing sustainable habits around meditation, journaling and exercise.

Outside of that, I’m interested in psychology, behavioural science, AI & human behaviour, philosophy, systems thinking, business, and generally understanding how things work.

I tend to get along well with people who are curious, self-directed, reflective, and genuinely trying to grow. You don't need to have similar interests - meeting someone from a completely different field could actually be more interesting.

I’m also hoping for something slightly more meaningful than exchanging daily to-do lists. I’d like us to share what we’re trying to do, notice where we keep getting in our own way, hold each other to what we said we’d do, and occasionally bounce ideas/problems off each other.

I’d prefer to keep things text-based, at least initially. We could do brief check-ins during the week and a slightly longer weekly reflection. Nothing overly rigid - just enough structure to make it useful.

If this resonates, send me a little about what you’re currently trying to get better at or build, and something you’ve been really curious about lately. :)

Need an accountability partner/someone to talk to…

I feel like I need someone to talk to, just someone to share and try and help reduce my anxiety around food and activities. Recently I’ve been struggling with anxiety, I’ve been trying to micromanage every outcome and find myself worrying about how much I’m eating day to day, generally I have no problem eating healthy, but I’ve been seeing food as more of a reward, or if I feel like I eat too much even if it’s a healthy food I force myself to burn it off. I find myself trying to earn my food and it’s been impacting every single day of my life, it’s all I think about. It’s impacted my relationship with my family and even school stuff… I don’t know what to do but I feel that having someone to talk to would help. I’ve been told I lost weight, but a lot of it was muscle, I’m still trying to stay active in the gym and recover what I had lost but it’s so frustrating and hard with poor sleep, it’s even been affecting my gastrointestinal system too, I searched it up and the closest thing I found to it is rumination disorder. After every meal I find myself regurgitating my food, it comes out exactly how it came in, no acid no nothing but it’s been really hard to keep my food down as well. I feel like I’m sharing too much but it feels nice to at least put this somewhere I can see it visually/let it all out…
