Jipmat board weightage

Is the composite score calculated for the merit list ? Or if jipmat score is equal then the candidate with higher boards% is preferred?

Pls help to resolve this doubt , im very confused

10th : 89%

12th : 75%

Is iim jammu possible for me if the composite score method is followedI

JUST GAVE GAT, HELLA EASY!!!!

Quants was straight AF except two reasoning questions were gay

GK was random ahh, like First CM of UP after independence Random ahh books and all. Ek easy CA ka tha, who did women cricket team beat in finals. Ek median of continuous series ka tha(ahhhhh maine elimination se kiya formula bhul gya tha.) Uske alawa ji bada chnaga paper tha, or bc mai jisse bhi puch raha, sab bol rhe 47,45,50 attempts kare hai, I was like HOW? Ye sab hi 150 percentile le aayenge kya?

Questions from clocks and calendar like how much degree hour hands moved in 2h16m and what was the day on 1st Jan 2005 (exact questions), a 5 meter pole(or tree whatever) cast 12 meter as shadow, and a nearby building casts 48 meter as shadow, how long is building. So u can see bhot easy hi tha.

In the worst case scenario I getting 121 in the best 162.(Ik not good papaer difficulty dekhte hue but now what to do)

Suggestion

Hi bhaiya! Love the website. Just a small suggestion for the mock analysis section: could you add a feature to show which questions we marked for review during the test? Even a tiny purple indicator or dot would be amazing. Sometimes I don't have the time to analyze the full mock, so being able to quickly spot the tricky questions I guessed or had doubts about would save a lot of time during analysis

Applied Maths students are being unfairly normalized against Core Maths students in CUET and nobody is talking about this

Both Core Maths and Applied Maths fall under same subject code 319 and are normalized in the same combined pool by NTA.

Here's why this is a massive disadvantage for Applied Maths (Commerce) students:

  1. Directly competing against JEE aspirants

Core Maths students are PCM/JEE background who score 220-240 casually. Commerce students doing Applied Maths average around 150-170. Being in the same normalization pool means your 180 in Applied Maths is competing against someone's 230 in Core Maths. Completely different preparation levels.

  1. Different papers, same pool

B1 and B2 are entirely different question sets after Section A. Normalizing them together is statistically meaningless — like combining Physics and Chemistry students into one pool just because they share a building.

  1. Shift difficulty mismatch destroys Applied students

If Core Maths (B1) comes easy in a shift and Applied Maths (B2) comes hard — the combined pool average gets pulled UP by high-scoring Core students. Applied students who performed brilliantly relative to their own peers still end up with crushed percentiles.

  1. Core Maths students outnumber Applied Maths students

~2.5 lakh Core vs ~1 lakh Applied in 2025. The larger Core pool dominates the normalization. Applied students are a minority being judged on a scale set by the majority.

The result:

A Commerce student scoring 180 in Applied Maths on a hard paper might get 88-90 percentile — while the same 180 in an Applied-only pool would easily be 93-95 percentile. That difference decides whether you get KMC or ARSD.

NTA needs to either normalize B1 and B2 separately or justify why combining them is fair.

Academic comeback possible or should I start farming potatoes?

I genuinely don’t know what I’m supposed to do rn and I need actual advice 😭

My CBSE marks are bad enough that I honestly don’t think good colleges will take me and to make things worse I accidentally skipped CUET too so now I’m just sitting here confused about what options I even have left

I’ve been thinking about giving the CBSE improvement exam but I barely understand how it works Like when does it happen can I give it without school involvement does it actually help in college admissions and is it even worth taking a partial drop for?

I also really don’t wanna go to a private college because the fees are way too expensive for me

The only thing I know for sure is that I’m interested in cybersecurity/tech stuff so if anyone has realistic advice alternative paths college options skills I should focus on or literally any guidance from personal experience please help 😭

Especially if someone here messed up academically before but still managed to figure things out later I’d genuinely love to hear your story because rn I feel completely lost

NEED ADVICE! Should I prioritise mocks or PYPs rn? (Exam on the 21st)

My english is exam on the 21st and I’ve done 74 PYPs, 24 shifts from 2023 are left. I don’t know if I should rush to do all of those PYPs or take mocks, I’ve taken 15 mocks from afterboards and 1 from a different platform so 16 in total. There’s 25 afterboards mocks and I’ve done 15 so there’s 10 left, I feel so hapless. Do I do the 10 mocks or the 24 PYPs (all from the same year only shifts are different)? HELP!😭
