Detroit 5/19

What did you guys think of the show? After not looking at set lists I found it interesting they moved open your eyes and rise today sorta mid set. I liked this rendition of watch over you after only seeing it with Myles on acoustic in past shows. The new songs are so good live. I do wish the set was maybe a bit more different from the p&k tour but I’ll never complain about seeing them regardless what they play. The Fillmore really is a beautiful venue.

Chances Of Seeing A Performance of Fortress?

I'll be seeing the fellas in Tampa this coming Sunday for my sixth (seventh??) time and I've never been fortunate enough to see my all-time favorite track, Fortress, performed. Has there been a pattern to the set lists I could go off of to predict my chances this go around? Or is there a bribe box I can slip a $20 into? :D

Roxian Pittsburgh show

Tonight’s energy from the audience and the band was electric tonight. I feel honored to have been there. Sonic temple had a similar excitement, I hope it lasts for the guys! Wish we heard Scales are Falling but they debuted what lies within (I think? As far as I know they haven’t done that one yet). Rock on all! 🤘💕

Anyone else who was there feel the same? It was a great show.

Trust in me, live

Hello, I will be soon attending an AB concert, do you know if the setlist includes Trust in me? I can't manage to find a live version on YT and I'm afraid this amazing song is not included in their setlist at all!

My cover of the Scales Are Falling solo

I absolutely love this solo, it’s probably my favorite part of the entire album. Pretty easy on guitar so I thought I’d give it a try! Lmk what you think🙏

Gotta love Ian & Myles' decades-long bromance 🥰

"fortydeuce: The bromance between @Sthornicus and @officialalterbridge 's @officialmyleskennedy goes back to the 90's. Doesn't mean they have to do this right in my face. A huge thanks to these gentlemen for having us out, nothing but class & blistering talent. #bigwreck #alterbridge"

In your opinion, why has Alter Bridge not touched the popularity of Creed?

I’ve followed AB since the release of One Day Remains. They are a successful band and have grown a healthy fanbase, and most people in this sub would argue they are superior to Creed in every way.

In your opinion why is it AB never attained the same success as Creed? Is it timing? Did Tremonti use his best riffs in Creed? Was Creed marketed better back then?

I’m just interested in people’s perspectives as to why this is the case.

2nd leg of US tour?

I know the first tour hasn’t even concluded yet and despite just seeing them live I’m –hopefully– looking forward to the 2nd leg of the US tour, that is if there’s gonna be one. Any word about it yet, anyone?

FINALLY!!!

So on the 4/29 I FINALLY got to see alterbridge live after years of trying to see them. I was absolutely blown away at just how good they are live. Dont get me wrong ive seen every live dvd they've put out but it just doesnt compare to how freaking amazing they are. I was only somewhat disappointed in not getting to see them play the Mashup of watch over you and wonderful life but my god. I cant get over how good it was

What is your favorite one part of any AB song?

I was thinking about this because I realized that with every song I always kind of look forward to that one moment that just HITS the hardest, and few came to mind for AB.

- Bleed It Dry (bridge + solo)
- All Hope Is Gone (bridge harmonies + riff)
- Scales Are Falling (bridge + solo)
- Words Darker (Myles going nuts)
- Slip To The Void (Mark going nuts)
- The Other Side (THERE WILL BE NO PARADIIISE)

What your favorites? Not necessarily favorite song overall but favorite part of any song. I’m curious what moment just makes you guys think “THIS is peak Alter Bridge”.

Anyone else get AB as their most streamed artist?

I thought the minutes streamed would be higher as I've had my Spotify account since 2010, but I went through a phase of listening to my CDs rather than streaming for a few years.
