Improper tagging

This is a bit of a rant so buckle up...

I read fanfiction on Ao3. I am an Ao3 warrior. I've been through countless fandoms and never in many years of consuming fanfiction have I had such an impossible time sorting out AUs for AoT fanfiction. It is impossible. Every fanfic is a college AU, or a WW2 AU, or a wingfic, and I can't even filter out "alternate universe" because that filters out "Alternate Universe - Canon Divergence" which is almost exclusively what I read. I'm not sure why it's so bad in this fandom but for some reason most fics I come across don't even tag their AUs, even if it's a common one like college or Highschool. Not to mention the sheer number of untagged levi/reader 😭😭 GET ME OUT OF HEREEEEE

Has anyone found a solution to this? Do you guys feel the same way or am I overreacting?

Return of Hange/Reader FF

Heya, so I've been out of the Fanfiction business for like 4 years.

But now my motivation is back, I'm shuffling some things around, reworking old works and posting new ones. I still have at least 2 short pics as a sequel of older fics in the pipeline.

So in case someone is interested in some more angsty Hange/Reader Romance (and Action) Drama, I've been itching to write for years, you can find it here:

Levi/OC fic

If anyone here is looking for a Levi/OC fic, I figured I’d throw mine into the void 😅

It’s plot-heavy, character-driven, slow burn, and set in the AoT world. The OC is a waterbender, so there’s a bit of an Avatar crossover element, but the story itself is very focused on character development, relationships, action, trauma, and all the emotional mess that comes with AoT.

It’s also very much a fix-it, because apparently writing my way through the emotional damage canon left me with was the only reasonable solution.

There’s romance, smut, violence, found family, politics, and plenty of emotional damage.

If that sounds like your thing, feel free to check it out <3

Is it only me who see Bertholdt one of the most miserable characters in AOT?

Upon contemplating the happenings in the whole series, many characters had their moments but one stayed with me so thick - Bertholdt - painfully though.

For me, what makes him so sad is that he didn't even have a chance, spent his days under the shades of friendship, nationality, Eldianism, warrior, and so on.

Beneath all these layers, he is a person with empathy and love but all ended in vain.
