What’s up guys! My pair of Carnivals finally got delivered from the lucky restock the other day 🙏🏼 I was wondering if anyone else has noticed all 3 of these colorways run a little differently size wise?

The PACE were my first pair, got a 12 in them. They fit just right, not much room for my toe at all (right foot is bigger).. I’m a 12/12.5 size wise.

I was lucky enough to win a raffle on the L&H for a 13 and also managed to snag a 12 from ASICS drop just in case. The 12 in those my right toe was hitting the front badly and didn’t think it’d be bearable, while the 13s fit wonderfully comfortable. So against my wishes, I had mismatched sizes in the same shoe. Lol

Then on the Carnivals, I had read some mixed things. Was again fortunate enough, managed to land both sizes. The 13s feel surprisingly roomy, and the size 12 fits more like my PACE; basically with just slightly a bit of room.

I’m a bit torn on what to do now.. anyone else experiencing something similar?!

PS: Does anybody else not appreciate how ASIC ships their orders in a bag and puts the huge packing label sticker directly on the shoe box? 🤯😤

Love both but the OG white & greens just hit different

Almost a year later I’ve picked up a new pair of Gel NYC’s.

The grey/red/pinky red were my first pair, I’ve used them as my daily and they’ve been absolutely awesome. I love the breathability of them, which essentially for lots of walking… in warm weather esp 😂

My only issue with them was that the inside heel area wore out pretty fast which was annoying.

I tried the 2.0 but found them a bit too narrow, and to me the only way I can describe them is plasticy on the outside. I thought they were like these winterized types initially.

In the end I’ve landed back with the Gel Nycs again and I think this colour way is cool too!

What is your opinion? I think they look and feel perfect. Should I keep them?

Anyone ordered Lapstone and hammer gel kayano 12.1 from Undefeated? I ordered mine on 5/9 and no update at all. I ordered Carnival 12.1 from Asics website last Saturday(16th) and they’re getting delivered tomorrow(20th).

Gel teremoa II

Didn’t think I’d need another pair of white ASICS but here we are. Similar to the PACE pair except I prefer the red gel pockets. Otherwise I think I prefer the PACE upper.

I hope this is permitted. I just stumbled upon this subreddit while browsing every corner of the internet looking for a birthday gift for my boyfriend.

So basically, after some FBI-type research, I found out that he's been wanting a specific pair of sneakers—the ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 in White / Graphite Grey—but he never managed to get them. I thought, “Wow, easy gift!”... I was very wrong.

Why is this specific colorway so difficult to find?! The only ones I could find online are reselling for $250-$350 CAD, and his size isn't even available. Meanwhile, other colors of the same model are stocked everywhere for $150-$200.

Looking at all the other colors available, I think the "White / Ivory" colorway is visually the closest. I actually found a pair in his size at a local boutique. I love the look, and I know neutral colors with some contrast are right up his alley. However, the store only does size exchanges (no refunds), so I'm hesitant to pull the trigger.

If you were him, would you be happy receiving a close alternative (White Ivory), or would it be a disappointment since it's not the exact specific pair?

Finally pulled trigger on GT 2160 in cream/carbon colorway with suede top, for €93!! Deal was so good that I couldn’t resist 😄
