I feed cats on a street where I don’t even live. In the past two months, I have taken seven cats from that street to the vet. Four of them live in the garden of a family that owns a pet cat.
Just four days ago, I spoke to the lady who lives there. I told her that I had taken the three cats from her garden to the vet, including two 3-month-old kittens that had been suffering from a severe flu for over five weeks, which had already affected their lungs. I also told her how much the veterinary bills had cost me. As soon as I mentioned the bill, she immediately went back inside her house.
I feed the cats by the wall outside her garden, so we usually talk while she’s standing in her garden. I have told her several times that I haven’t been working for the past three years.
I first met her a month ago while I was taking another sick kitten from that street to the vet. Since then, she has asked me three different times to take sick cats for treatment. Every time I explain my financial situation, yet I still end up taking them because I can’t leave them suffering.
About an hour ago, she sent me a message saying there was a sick kitten near her sister’s house. She said that because I’m a rescuer, I should help the kitten, and she simply shared the location.
The same thing happened with another neighbour who used to occasionally feed kittens in his garden until his wife told him to stop because she doesn’t like cats. Later, he asked me to come to his garden to check on one of the cats and even asked me to vaccinate them. I took the sick cat to the vet, but he never once asked how the cat was doing or offered to contribute toward the veterinary bill.
I’m honestly baffled. If people who consider themselves cat lovers aren’t willing to help financially or take responsibility when a cat is sick, what would you expect from people who don’t even like cats?

I applied for a Saudi multiple-entry eVisa on 20th June, but my application status has only been showing “Sent to Embassy” since then. I also didn’t receive any confirmation email after making the payment.
On 2nd July, I went to the Saudi Embassy in Dubai with all my printed documents (application, payment proof, etc.), but the guards refused to even accept them. They told me I should only come if I receive a “passport recall email.”
When I asked about the processing time, they just told me to wait and said they’re not sure how long it will take. There were many other applicants waiting outside in the heat, and no one was really being assisted. We all waited until the embassy closed and had to leave without any updates.
I also contacted the KSA visa portal support, but they just advised me to keep waiting without giving any timeline.
It’s now been around 15 days, and I still have no update.
Has anyone here faced a similar situation with the Saudi eVisa stuck at “sent to embassy”? How long did it eventually take, and did you receive any update or email before approval/collection?

If you’ve had an experience with this facility and would like to share a genuine review, you’re welcome to post it here. There’s a chance your Google review may be reported and removed by them just like all the others “bad” reviews, so this can be a place to ensure your experience is heard.
I’m sharing my experience because my Google review was reported and removed, and I want other pet owners to have access to the information before making a decision.
This is probably the 100th time I’ve had to write this. My genuine Google review keeps getting removed, along with reviews from other people. Instead of addressing the concerns being raised, all they seem to be doing is reporting negative reviews. Whenever a bad review disappears, there often seems to be a sudden surge of positive reviews within the hour.
Several people have also come forward to me saying they left Google reviews stating that they believed the punishment style used during training was harsh and involved excessive leash tugging, and they told me those reviews were removed as well.
I left my dog at Safe K9 Boarding & Training Dubai for approximately one month. Prior to boarding, she had never been around other dogs and had very limited exposure outside the home. She appeared completely healthy when I dropped her off.
Within a day of picking her up, she developed respiratory symptoms and was hospitalized. A respiratory PCR panel later came back positive for two contagious respiratory infections: Bordetella bronchiseptica and Mycoplasma.
I understand that boarding facilities can never guarantee a dog will not become sick, especially in environments where many dogs are together. My concern was not the illness itself, but how my concerns were handled afterward. I asked whether further investigation would be carried out for the wellbeing of other dogs and whether additional preventative measures could be considered in the future. I did not feel my concerns were taken seriously and their responses were very defensive.
I am not telling anyone what conclusion to reach. I am simply sharing my documented experience, which includes veterinary records, PCR test results, invoices, and communications.
I would also encourage people to read not only the positive reviews, but the business’s responses to negative reviews. In my opinion, the way a business responds to criticism can tell you just as much as the reviews themselves. Also keep in mind that genuine negative reviews may not remain visible. My own review has repeatedly been removed, and I’ve also seen other reviews discussing infections and other negative experiences disappear over time.
As a pet owner, watching your dog struggle with an illness is heartbreaking. I encourage anyone considering a boarding facility to do thorough research, ask detailed questions about health protocols, and make the decision they feel is best for their pet.
