Now that the Primaries are over, are you worried about the future of the Democratic Party?

I've seen Social Media feeds claiming that the Democratic Party is now taken over by Islamists and Communists. (El-Sayed, Zohran Mamdani, and Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlailb and others). Are clear examples for it. Conservative Commentators argued that while religious freedom is protected under the 1st Amendment, Sharia Law isn't, because in here in the American constitution, it says this "Congress Shall make no law establishing a National Religion"

Idk, if you're still critical about the DSA or have a Problem with it (In Some Areas I do according to the power of the Internet). Maybe don't vote for AOC in 2028. I to, also have a problem with it because of this whole Abolish the Senate, the SCOTUS and the Executive Branch.

In good faith I brought up an issue that has affected me and many others like me that white people get harassed for being white and we are now a minority on the global stage and all I got was insults and hate. I thought this was the group of love and acceptance.

I originally posted this. Why are White people constantly picked on when we are a minority? Infact we are lower than Black people. Do we not matter?

The global white population in 2026 is estimated between 650 million and 1.3 billion people, making up roughly 8% to 16% of the total Demographics of the world population of about 8.3 billion.

There are approximately 1.4 to 1.55 billion Black and African people in the world, making up about 18% of the global population.

According to Google.

global black population 2026

I am autistic and have trouble with wording but I still stand by everything I said.

Monthly General Chat Post - October 01, 2026.

INTRODUCTION

r/askLiberals is a political discussion sub for the news and discussion of politics from a liberal perspective,

PURPOSE OF GENERAL CHAT

Normally this subreddit is setup to address the political and social issues that divide our nation and dominate our social media feeds. The purpose of this very different thread is to trial a space for community members to talk about more than just our nations politics.

We hope that we can help encourage community participants to find a way past the ideological differences that frequently appear in the comments and share more about the ideological world they experience every week. For many participants, the issues that occur every week are personal, and a general chat is a space for folks to acknowledge how their lived experiences shape their points of view.

Political Discourse

This issue of civics and civil conversation is so critically important at this point in history. A Democracy cannot function, if we cannot talk with one another. And if we can't disagree kindly, with respect for one another's differences and different points of view. We should be able to recognize that regardless of your political alignment, that almost all of us love this country.
