This person was cheated by his girlfriend around 5 years back and since then he has developed a very negative outlook towards people, especially towards love relationship and marriage. He now sees it just as a transaction.
And in general, he doesn't seem to be respectful towards other bonds/relationships. Even if he genuinely cares for others, he doesn't show or wants to show.
His idea of care in life is only money.
Will this negative outlook towards love and relationships change for him and how? We want him to have genuine bonds and a positive mindset towards people and life.
I am a Marine Engineer, Merchant Navy. I am not sure if this is the right path for me. I got down in May 2024, to give my exams for promotion. But I am being disenchanted by this field. No motivation to clear this exam, have been just giving half-assed attempts. Now I am thinking of joining ship again, at the same position in which I was sailing earlier. I have this subconscious avoidant tendency towards my job. It makes me wonder whether I am cut for it? My goal career wise is to find alignment and harmony with my destiny, professionally.
So yeah, my question is: Is Marine Engineering the right field for me or do you see something else? And will soon apply to different companies for sailing again. When do you see me getting back into the workforce?

I have an opportunity to pursue higher studies in US and I need to decide on whether to go or not go within a week. I lost everything in the span of a year.
It started with my parents’ divorce in November 2024. By February 2025, I’d broken off my engagement. Then the cars got repossessed. Then came the debt, and the state filing for my bankruptcy. My business partners were stealing from me. My own father launched a smear campaign against me just to spite my mother. The taxes caught up. The legal cases stacked up. And somewhere in the middle of it all, my best friend went after my ex-fiancée behind my back lol.
I was afraid, and I was ashamed. So I disappeared. I hid for an entire year and tried to find some meaning in what was left of my life.
The first week of June 2026 is when I finally started wanting to be seen again. And not just seen.. now I want to pursue something that would make me extremely visible. Which is strange, because it’s the complete opposite of where my head was a year ago.
I used to be very successful before all of this. And I keep asking myself: can I ever get back there again?
These days I strategize and calculate before I make any move. Before all this, I was obsessed with my own goals, I chased everything, and I achieved so much. Now the motivation comes and goes. Will i ever return back to my default settings? 😂
