reddit.comIs it normal to find bass violently pleasurable (particularly around my reproductive system area?)
Good afternoon, dudes and dudettes. I have been experiencing troubles recently, particularly with my jiggly bits.
I decided to experiment with my furniture, and invented a new way to listen to music. I have strapped a JBL speaker to a dining chair.
I first attempted to listen to some classical music, but the vibrations were weak at best. So I stepped it up a notch, put on some wubstep, and it opened up my floodgates instantly.
I was shocked, and so were my parents who were watching, waiting to eat dinner. The song was The Last Judgment by Shades if anyone wanted to know.
Has anyone experienced this problem (or reward?). I’m trying to gather others so we can make a convention and maybe a rehab service with fellow wub-wetters.

Someone peed at kinetic field john summit
To the girl that peed at kinetic field and had the group BARRICADED for yourself. FUCK YOU AND YOUR GROUP, you guys are horrible. If you cannot make it to the opening of the set then just fucking miss it and pee at the porta potty like the rest of us and then go in after! You ruined the moment for everyone else and the place is for public and not a fucking restroom.
Feel frustrated that my favorite genres of music used to get me relentlessly bullied in school, now all those same kids are becoming rave baes for the instagram and clout.
I loved listening to electronic music and techno as a kid. Brostep was also huge and it was mostly a European thing at the time. But being an EDM fan in the aughts and early 2010s sucked. I got bullied relentlessly, the music was made fun of, called “robots fucking music” etc. I was laughed at for wanting to become a DJ/producer so I gave it up.
Well now fast forward to post covid…. all those same kids who picked on me are going to riddim shows, repping PLUR, and the girls honestly using the genre to show off their body and outfits and makeup for instagram, and for the guys to hook up with the rave girls. They don’t really care about the music, they go to riddim shows and red rocks because it makes them look cool.
Im tired of every space for the nerds, rejects, and “weirdos” like EDM and raving are overtaken by the rich and beautiful. Same thing happened to the internet, and Anime, and pokemon etc….
What is the name of this fist to chest and deep humming called in EDM?
And who invented it? I recall Demitri Vegas & Like Mike, for their song Anthem maybe? But can't remember so just curious if there is a name for this
yes, this: "why we dance" -- for others or for ourselves? for clout or for peace?
Anyone have a decommissioned submarine or 2? I need an active sonar speaker for our next squat
Idk these gabber kicks just aren’t hardcore anymore, these kids need some 250db treatment. Preferably 10 bucks or less, and I might be willing to throw in a non functioning cdj800 or 2
Have you made your life-saving wallpaper for the weekend?
if you arent dancing why are you in the front?
Watching some Coachella sets and there are so many people in the front not dancing, just hanging out at the rail with their phones out. People who do this, why?
A question about modern rave culture wardrobe expectations.
Hey yall,
Old school raver (man) from 2000 here. Been going back to some shows and festivals and really felt out of place and cold shouldered for not dressing "rave trendy".
Just wondering if dressing a certain way is now kind of like an expectation if you want vibe with people.
When I was into the underground back from 1999-2005 people dressed however they wanted. Yea, we had kandy kids (I became one at the time), but we also had people dressed as rednecks, or G's, even a few people come dressed in business suits, like people just dressed however TF they wanted, and no one felt left out because of it.
But as an old man raver, I'm kinda getting the vibe now that to be more accepted as these shows, I need to start dressing like everyone else. Kinda lame if that is how it is, but give it to me straight. Is that how it is now? I tried looking online for rave clothes at shops people recommend here, and I just don't got money for this sh*t. Like $100 for a pair of pants? It's insane. Is this the new way of the rave culture? I just like to wear my cargo pants, hoodie, tshirt, and thats my regular show style. It's what I do. Nothing fancy like "pash" pants or whatever they are called. I dunno even know the name of all the stuff people accessorize with now.
Best way to carry two bubble guns hands-free while raving?
Hey! 👋
I've recently added two bubble guns to my rave kit and honestly it's been a blast (everyone loves some bubbles). But carrying them all night is a pain, and I don't want to shove them in my bag all the time.
I'm looking for some sort of holster or harness to keep them hands-free (ideally a torso or chest harness rather than just a belt clip). Something practical enough to draw them easily, but secure enough to survive a full night of dancing.
The tricky part: the soap tank sticks out from the body of the gun, which makes standard holsters pretty awkward to fit.
Has anyone found a good solution? DIY rigs, construction harnesses, utility belts, repurposed tactical gear... I'm open to anything!
Thank you 🫧🖤
