Few things I don’t think I’ve posted yet, RIP Norm & ORFN

Norm was fucking killing it with massive rooftops in the city when I was young. He really held it down for Msk in the city for a lot of years. Nice ass dude too.

Already removing the huge graffiti posted a couple days ago

Another post from a few days ago showed the highway signs had been tagged and you couldn’t even see the street names anymore. The city (or whatever governing body helps with highway maintenance) has already cleaned up the signs. Great job! I love to see my city clean and graffiti free.

GATS / Poor Example / San Pablo

I used to see GATS work all over the place driving around the Bay. I never knew his name but always appreciated the art. A month or so ago Poor Example in Escalon celebrated their first anniversary. Talking to the owner and artist Mike Mitchell, he said he asked GATS for some script of Poor Example for shirts or other items. Mike used a few. One was a shirt. One is the logo on the door. They did stickers. They also took a page of the logos for a shirt. GATS had a handful of pieces there for sale. The fine line detail he used on some of these are just amazing in person. I highly recommend making the trip to Poor Example. Mine does some fun art.

The last few photos are on San Pablo. The big mural might not be visible much longer. Looks like they are building.
