This might be an unusual question, but I don't want to queue up and be turned down for this reason.

I am a type 1 diabetic and wear an insulin pump.

This means I have a small electronic device (think pager size) connected to my belly by tubing. I can hide this under clothes but if I am searched of course I have to explain what it is etc.

I have recently had a very negative experience at a club rave where I live where I was denied entry because of it, and it really made me sad and like my community is very ableist (I have been a diabetic for yrs but used pens, which were never an issue with clubbing)

So I wanted to ask, at berghain do they body search you?

Could any other Type 1 diabetic who is a pump user vouch if these are a problem?

Booked to visit Berlin as Berghain has been bucket list for years and have now realised our trip coincides with FC Snax, any recs for other clubs to try that weekend? We're two queer women into hard and industrial techno, vibe is important but good sound even more so. Thanks.

My first time at BH, and I had an amazing time. I met some really lovely people, and they even adopted me into their group.

I even had a missed connection. I don’t know if she felt the same, but just in case, I’ll leave a few clues in case someone knows her.
We kept making shorts eye contact a few times while dancing, around 4:30 am on Sunday, right at the entrance of Panorama Bar. Just brief eye contact, a few seconds at a time, but repeatedly, until I moved and she did too.
You — brunette, around 1.70m or a little taller, with short-but-long hair, kind of a mullet but without shaved sides. Adidas Bermuda shorts and a top. Subtle tattoos. You had your fanny pack hanging from a hook on the wall.
Me — black cargo pants, black T-shirt, and at that moment a sweatshirt tied around my waist. Green eyes, hoop earrings in both ears, and a few tattoos on my arms. Very short buzzed hair.

Me (25M gay) with my girl friend( 25F Bi) going to visit Berlin in november to celebrate her birthday and my plan is to try to visit berghain on a (28/11)Saturday i saw the lots of lots comments haha and I am aware that its not the best time but our trip will be short so gotta try our luck ig.

Hoping to meet a lot of people and not to freeze to death.

Last time I was in Berlin we visited KitKat club, it was an interesting experience but we want to visit Berghain and see it for ourselves.

When the lineup are going to be visible?

It was my first time last weekend! Felt incredibly grateful to be there and thinking about all you lucky people starting Klubnacht this weekend.

I also was wondering if anybody else heard Cascade (Part 1) by Future Sound Of London during I think Colin Benders set? I want to make sure I'm not tripping out or if this song was genuinely played haha.

Anyway. Very grateful to get let in, it's a beautiful space and I had one of the best weekends of my whole life.
