This might be an unusual question, but I don't want to queue up and be turned down for this reason.

I am a type 1 diabetic and wear an insulin pump.

This means I have a small electronic device (think pager size) connected to my belly by tubing. I can hide this under clothes but if I am searched of course I have to explain what it is etc.

I have recently had a very negative experience at a club rave where I live where I was denied entry because of it, and it really made me sad and like my community is very ableist (I have been a diabetic for yrs but used pens, which were never an issue with clubbing)

So I wanted to ask, at berghain do they body search you?

Could any other Type 1 diabetic who is a pump user vouch if these are a problem?

I'm (32F Bi) in a loving open relationship with my partner (40M Straight).

I have been dealing with a feeling that makes me feel particularly sad and bad about myself, and honestly just want to vent and try to relate with people who feel the same?

My partner is very good looking and hot, which means he often gets hit on and flirted with by cute girls who compliment him, ask for his socials/nr, etc., and he has gone on dates that way.

I am not a very attractive person (I am a pretty average woman) and in addition to that I am autistic which makes it difficult for me to have spontaneous interactions, I think I am in my own world a lot.

I have no problem going on dates if I work hard for them, meaning I make an effort to chat with people on apps, trying to bond over shared interests and so on.

But sometimes, it would feel nice to be crushed on and flirted with organically you know? To have someone think you're cute, compliment your outfit and appearance... I dress fairly alternative so I take great care in the way I present myself, too.

It's especially hard given that I am very passive and submissive, to have to push to actually pursue others lol.

To be clear, I think it's great others are interested in my partner, I think I am more envious of not getting the same thing rather than jealous, if that makes sense?

Has anyone experienced this, and how did you reframe this thinking?

Hi, firstly I just want to preface this by acknowledging that I am very privileged to be writing this, and that this is a "first world problem". It is something that ultimately doesn't matter as it is related with superfluous goods, but hopefully I can get some advice.

My partner, bless him, is a terrible gift giver. He tries choosing things I could be interested in but somehow always misses the mark because I have very specific interests. For example he has gifted me makeup, which I love, but in colors I don't wear. Books in genres I don't read etc.

For my birthday this year he gifted me Matcha powders. I love matcha but I am very picky with taste, I like investing in Japanese brands, and preparing everything very carefully and traditionally.

He has gifted me a bunch of matcha with added flavorings from a western brand, which I know cost a lot of money!! Despite being lower grade matcha.

I am concerned because he keeps saying he has very little money to last him the month, and he even declined some outings like going out for lunch due to this.

I am feeling extremely guilty because he spent a lot of money on my gift and it's something I really do not like, and there's no option to return it. I don't want him to struggle with money because of it...

What would you do in this situation? I feel bad saying I didn't like it when he put himself in a bad position because of it.

Olá, peço desculpa se o post não encaixa aqui, mas não percebo nada de carros e não consigo aconselhamento na vida real, e queria alguma ajuda.

Preciso de comprar carro, vivo em uma das maiores cidades em Portugal. Será algo para usar dentro da cidade cerca de 1/2x semana, e para também fazer viagens um pouco mais longas ocasionalmente (cerca de 2h30 para cada lado).

Infelizmente terei que optar por um crédito automóvel, pois as minhas poupanças não chegam para um carro. Estou à procura de modelos em segunda mão.

Que modelos aconselham procurar que encaixem no acima?

Não tenho nenhum requisito, só mesmo encontrar algo económico mas que também não dê problemas como o meu carro atual tem dado (Honda Civic 2002, muitos problemas de bateria e outros)

I live in an European country that is not English speaking, but I am trying to do Perfume/fragrance content videos in spoken English. So far all the videos have made have tanked, I think it is because they have really poor engagement at first :(

They usually only get up to 40 views in the first hour or 2 and then fall off ending up stuck at 100 views...

By comparison photo slides I post get 1k-1,5k views.

I think this must be because TikTok is pushing the content to the wrong crowd, and I believe it is trying my country's FYP; whereas I would like it to push content to English speaking people in my niche (fragrance/perfume tok).

Does anyone have any tips? I am trying to use catchy hooks in the first seconds, using the TikTok picked sounds and everything, but even with videos where I don't show my face and really short videos they perform like that.
