Ich möchte unbedingt in ein paar Jahren fliessend Berndeutsch bzw. generell Schweizerdeutsch sprechen können. Noch wichtiger ist mir aber, dass ich normale alltägliche Gespräche ohne Mühe verstehe.Es gibt vieles, das man mit der Zeit selbst erkennt.Wörter, die im Hochdeutschen gleich sind, aber einfach anders ausgesprochen werden. Natürlich gibt es aber auch viele Wörter, die ganz anders sind, wie zum Beispiel „aalüüte“ oder „mängisch“.

Beim Lernen von Hochdeutsch hatte ich nie Probleme, weil es unzählige Quellen gab, bei denen ich nachschlagen konnte, wenn ich etwas nicht verstanden habe. Beim Berndeutsch weiss ich jedoch nicht, welche Quellen wirklich gut und richtig sind. Gute Quellen zum Hören kenne ich schon, zum Beispiel SRF usw. Aber wenn man bestimmte Verben oder allgemein häufig verwendete Wörter und Ausdrücke nachschlagen und lernen möchte besonders solche, die in der Schweiz wichtig und oft gebraucht werden , dann weiss ich nicht genau, welche Quellen dafür geeignet sind.
So wie ich es verstanden habe, lernt man Schweizerdeutsch am besten durch viel Zuhören, sodass man die einfachen Ausdrücke automatisch verinnerlicht, ohne es bewusst zu merken. Mit der Zeit kann man dann vieles ganz natürlich verstehen und aussprechen, ohne lange darüber nachdenken zu müssen. Trotzdem denke ich, dass das allein begrenzt ist. Es muss doch auch Quellen geben, mit denen man das Lernen ergänzen kann. Darüber würde ich mich sehr freuen, danke schön.

I’ve noticed that a lot of the people I’ve gone out with either: stand around acting too cool to dance, or
only want to get absolutely shitfaced drunk.

Meanwhile I’m the type of person who actually wants to dance, enjoy the atmosphere, maybe have a cocktail or two, laugh, meet people and still wake up the next morning with enough life left in me to go for brunch, a hike, swim in the lake, hit the gym, or just enjoy the day. We could also start with dinner first to get to know each other a bit.
I love a balanced lifestyle, fun and spontaneity, but not self-destruction every weekend 😅

Hey guys, can anyone recommend a good place in Bern for a men’s perm? I’ve searched online, but most salons I found seem more women-oriented, and there aren’t many examples of men’s perms on their Instagram pages. Would appreciate any recommendations from people who’ve had a good experience.

Hallo, ich habe heute eine kranke Katze in der Lorraine bei der Bärner Brocki entdeckt. Sie nieste und um die Nase war gelber Schleim zu sehen. Im Fell waren z.T. dicke Haarknäuel. In den 7 Jahren in denen ich in Bern bin, habe ich noch nie eine solch kranke Katze gesehen und mache mir nun ziemlich Gedanken.

Eine Meldung beim smtz habe ich gemacht. Die Meldung ist aber scheinbar noch nicht online. Ich befürchte aber dass es vielleicht nur eine von vielen Meldungen ist und untergeht? Was kann man in solchen Situationen sonst noch tun oder genügt die Meldung beim smtz? Ein Foto habe ich leider nicht.

Hallo zusammen! I need a notary public for a simple form and the notaries I've contacted all say that they don't have time. This would honestly take 5-10 minutes so I'm a bit confused. In the US, you can usually walk in to a bank or a postal company and get something notarized right away. Of course I'm happy to make an appointment or do whatever is necessary if I can just find someone who will do it.

The form is going to another country to allow someone to request birth certificates on my behalf. Any suggestions for notaries that you've worked with?
