Didn't think it was ever going to fill but after 6 months it did. Decided to relist and take a month break, so it was a great welcome back present!
I must confess that Black Desert Online (BDO) runs better on my Ryzen 5 5600 and GTX 1060 PC (with more stable FPS and no sudden crashes, provided the network is stable) than it did on Windows 11. When installing the non-Steam client via Lutris, you can use practically any Proton version. However, with most of them, you will see a black or white launcher after installation. As I found out (thanks to a helpful tip from someone), this can be fixed by locating the GameOptionLauncher.txt file stored in the emulated My Documents folder at /home/USER/Games/black-desert/drive_c/users/USER/My Documents/Black Desert/GameOptionLauncher.txt (find out where is your game folder and who is USER) and changing the last option to:
LauncherResourceType = 5
webvLanguage = 0
launcherRetain = 0
launcherMiniMode = 0
launcherGpu = 1
launcherOffScreen = 0
tungs are free pen, crescent is market bought btw
im dealing with this issue for months, its happening with any graphic settings (Optimization to Ultra , 1080p to 4K)
even tried switching Linux Distro for checking if its W11 related, its same on CachyOS
tried with and without affinity Preset for my cpu
tried with and without PBO settings for my cpu
tried installing game on another SSD (nvme m2)
Sometimes its perfectly buttersmooth, sometimes its randomly decide kill my fps
i have no idea why it does, btw i don't have this issue on Escape From Tarkov, Warframe, Rainbow Six Siege, Counter Strike 2 etc.

As someone who has a number of workers, and I do sell them from time to time, I'd like to suggest to add which town/city the workers are "staying" after the promotion? I mean include it in the mail notification. I had 4 workers who I promoted last night and it was a hassle trying to locate them.

Hey everyone, I am now installing BDO for the first time. I have played Black Desert Mobile before but I think it has a different gameplay and UI. Any tips you guys can give and suggest as a beginner in BDO? TYIA!
Should I upgrade my off-hand to VIII? Or should I focus on upgrading the rest of the accessories to IX? With the possible announcement of new accessories, I'm not sure if I should focus on them or keep improving my weapons.
I know the game is pay to win. (General consensus not objective fact) but I want to know what the bare minimums I can spend in a month is to actually be relevant and at what point in the game I have to begin spending. If I can write it off as a “subscription” I’m fine. If I’m paying a small car payment I’m not touching it. Thank you all.

I bought this Arctic Fox for pearls because I got tired of waiting for someone to sell on CM, then I bought x3 Gospys and used 2 Gospy and two other T3 pets to bring the fox to T4.
But, I havent read beforehand that fox's talent does not affect gathering, which is what I quite often do as a lifeskiller.
Well, its still good gather group pet, but for grind its skills are a waste, arent they?

I’m getting burnt out. Every piece of gear has been pitied besides my current chest piece. With the ball coming up I’m only expecting at least one praying for 2-3 upgrades due to my accessories already both being past average. My tri fg’s are sitting at 11/50 my sovs are at 0 pity (f em)I’m currently sitting on 30b, 4 premium boxes and 2k crons I play succ and awk so that’s why I haven’t really pushed either of my sovs at all. What direction should I push for with the crons from ball. Ap or dp also everything I tap is about +15-20 past max another adventurers choice

I managed to fix most of stutters with Canadian Guide, youtube guides etc. But still have micro stuter with 2 specific skills. Witch awekening.
Black Spirit : Fissure Wave. Black Spirit : Equilibrium Break. When I cast normal version it's not stutter, but with black spirit rage at 100% it makes 1s annoying stutter.
I have Ryzen 7700 + 5070ti, ram 32 CL30, 6000, SSD Lexar nm620 2k monitor.
What I have now is affinity CPU 5554. Nvidia settings - max fps 100, v-sync on, low latency mode - on, threaded = auto.
Ingame Remastered (strange but high and very high graphic was more stutters vs huge remaster) + high textures.
SSAO, depth of field, faraway objects, hit effect, display filter - all off, camera effects - off. Opcaity effects set to minimum = 30. Low-power option off, optimization off, hide other adventurers on, alerts off, most UI elements off.
3d map tried, many things tried but it dose not help.
Any advice what I can try more with this specific aoe skills problem?
In worst case what other class with very easy combos or no combo I can pick instead, without such heavy aoe skills? (I am new, playing like 2-3 weeks).
