This was the update?
They are crazy if they think i want some slop like the new MW4. Stop advertising in our game.

New update asking me to pre order MW4 when I cant even play the 15 year old game I just bought because of the overwhelming amount of hackers....leaves a bad taste in my mouth

Of course this doesn’t mean they’re gonna add dedicated servers for Bo1 and Bo2 on the PS4/PS5, but this confirms that they’re aware of what the players on the ports want
Dedicated servers would not only help connectivity, but most importantly it would make both games safer to play and would help combat players using mods
The devs have added an ad to pre-order Modern Warfare 4 in the Black Ops 2 main menu today

Personally as a cod fan i love eating up my Modern warfare/black ops slop! Why would i enjoy a good game when i could be bevis and butthead.
I love activision
so now, if u get in clantag’s lobby, you can set your clan tag as “UAV” and you will get constant uav infection. which means aimbot infection is just around the corner. even if that doesn’t come, someone having a constant uav is an instant loss and ruins the game. RIP BO2 you were fun while it lasted 😢
What’s good class for the skorpion evo? Swat, fal, and the smr curious
Got stoney and sat down for an hour to do this, but ran out of layers

Black ops 2 is considered one of, if not the best CODs of all time now, and my personal favorite, but i remember it being controversial during its life cycle. So i went back to check on some old reddit threads to see what the community thought back in the day, and highlight some interesting comments.

"6/10 nice features implemented, but poor infrastructure is what ruined it." +10
"5/10. It seemed like they wanted my money more than ever, and tried every way to take it." +7
"I think it's much better than MW2 and MW3 but not as good as Black Ops 1" +5
"I know many will disagree, and I am a huge fan of Call of Duty, but ever since this game came out, I could confidently say that this is my least favorite CoD yet." +5
"The maps were awful, maybe the worst in any COD." +5
"I think it's the best Call of Duty game out of MW2, MW3, and BO1." -3 -> 'If the hit detection was better I would say yes...' +6

"The first few months of MW2, before OMA, was a period of absolute euphoria . After that, Blops 2 would be my favorite" +31
"I think the map pool is too weak to be considered better than cod4 or even black ops. Standoff is good and Raid is more fun than good... After that I can describe every map as meh or shit." +10
"I agree, sadly the community consists of kids who were obsessed with the unbalanced MW2." -1

"The first Black Ops." +42
"At this point, Black Ops 1. Once everything in 2 is fixed, I think it'll be better." +18 -> "IMO, the only thing that Blops2 has over 1 is Ghost. Ghost has been fixed while everything else (connection, gun blandness, maps, cheesestreaks, etc) has suffered" +5
"Why is everyone who is saying they preferred BO2 over BO1 getting downvoted? I get it, old CoDs are better than the new ones, according to all of reddit, but don't downvote because you have a different opinion" +13

https://www.reddit.com/r/truegaming/comments/13dxzb/my_thoughts_on_black_ops_2/ "I just don't think it's that good of a game, though. It seems like they tried to make something to directly compete with a big-budget, Michael Bay-type movie, but they ignored the core gameplay that's kept fans coming back. If Treyarch can patch the MP it has a lot of potential, but the campaign is beyond redemption." - OP.

"I have to agree. I'm not having much fun playing this game, but for some reason I can't stop. Its keeps pulling me back in. I'll have 4 horrible games filled with complete BS and Lag, then 1 beast mode game. MW3 was the complete opposite for me. I never felt the urge to keep playing. Was quite bored with it after the first few days." +43 -> "I'm the opposite. As much BS as there was in MW3, that game was fun just about every time I played. Black Ops 2 is constantly frustrating and I'm almost ready to trade it in." +21
"Not addictive in the slightest. I play one game and quit. Can't stand it. I thought MW3 was as low as it gets. Treyarch showed me that they can go deeper. The longest I might play the game is a couple hours with a friend. That's the only way I can tolerate it. I loved the campaign and they made zombies better, but the multiplayer is just a giant pile of shit." +24
"It has that MW2 feel. It's frustrating but you want to play because that frustration is addictive. Think about it. Why was BO1 boring? Because it wasn't frustrating." -3 -> "I disagree MW2 was incredibly fun and not very frustrating at all even including OMA Tubes I could still have fun. This game isn't half as fun as MW2 even with the bullshit. Black ops 1 was boring because the maps were huge and it felt sluggish in comparison with the game that came before it." +3 -> "I can agree with that. MW2 was the most fun I've had in CoD." +4

"If you enjoy running around like a headless chicken into enemies with a silenced smg then holding left mouse and hoping your connection is better than theirs then this is the game for you.
If you enjoy thinking or playing in any other way then I'd avoid BLOPS2 like the plague.
(Last COD I played was MW2, btw if that matters at all)." +10
Sometimes I get matched with players from overseas servers, and most of the time, they seem to be using sniper rifles despite barely being able to use even the standard guns properly.
Of course, everyone is free to use whatever weapon they want. I have no problem with that. The problem is that these players often die over and over again, give the enemy VSATs and high-tier scorestreaks, and then immediately leave the match.
And it's not just new players. Even players who seem to be at an intermediate level often quit as soon as things start going badly.
Then the players who are actually trying to play properly are left to deal with the consequences.
If it were just one or two players, I wouldn't really care. But it happens so often that I genuinely don't understand what they're trying to accomplish.
Why do so many people pick a sniper, die repeatedly, feed the enemy scorestreaks, and then leave the moment they're losing?
Why do people think FFA has to be sniper only? I’m just trying to play the game the way I want and people get so mad
