Is Geordie Greep’s “Holy Holy” meant to be like “hoe-ly”?😭

It’s the only sense I found from him saying horny stuff like that

Geordie teases announcement soon

From the Instagram caption of his most recent US tour announcement.

“Either way, stay primed for more info in the coming days and weeks regarding... I won't say more there, but stay primed, and, as always, best wishes to all of you.”

Thoughts on what it might be? My guess is that it’s his 2nd album.

Introducing HOLY : Holy Organizational tool to Listen to geordie greep and the swing boYs shows

Allow me to introduce to you the most wonderful thing you've ever seen. My life's work, my dream come true. It's the newest new in new. At this point I have to tell you what it is. It's the HOLY tool, a database of all Geordie Greep's solo shows, with links to all recordings I could find of them, and of all musicians who played with him, with each show they played on listed. It is available here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1tnn_Idym4Uc18qgp_eG1Hi_DIHY_v4rG?usp=drive_link .

It consists of three spreadsheets: one for recordings, with their dates, city, country, links to the recordings and annotations. One to list the musicians, with their name, instruments and instagram username (when I found them). And finally one with the dates of each show and a column for each musician, the column is filled with a 1 if they played to the corresponding show or a 0 when they didn't (or nothing for the 4 shows where I don't know who played).

There are also a couple of python files. navigation_functions.py contains a few functions to play around the files and navigation_interface.py can be executed to get a little graphical interface where you can either select a musician and see the list of shows they played or select a show and see the list of musicians who played it. You need a python3 environment with numpy and tkinter to make them run. AI disclaimer: I got help from VScode autocompletion (which I believe is some version of ChatGPT) when making navigation_functions.py and navigation_interface.py is entirely the work of GPT-5 mini. Anyway all the information you need about those codes is in the readme.

Now YOU can help me with this database. First of all if you notice any mistake, have a suggestion, are aware of a recording missing from HOLY you can contact me in the comments of this post, DM on reddit or write me at buveur.tapes@gmail.com. Of course everyone is free to use these files as they wish in their own project and expand on it. I will try to maintain it regularly but I will probably not always be caught up on the Greep's crazy touring schedule.

There are a few shows for which I need a specific help to complete the database:

- first, who is playing keys on the show at Roskilde festival on 04/07/2025? For now he is dubbed Mysterious Piano Player in the database.

- second, who played at the Map studio café on 23/08/2024, in Hamburg on 19/09/2024, in Cardiff on 10/10/2024 and in Bruxelles on 01/11/2024? For some of these shows I guess you could guess part of the line up but they are not part of a specific tour with a consistent cast of musicians so its difficult to know. If you just remember which instruments were played but not the musician it's already very good, except for the Map studio café one there is pretty much one possibility per instrument.

- and third, was King David-Ike Elechi playing at the Oslo show on 15/02/2026 and in Nijmegen on 17/02/2026? Which is equivalent to ask how many drummers where there?

To conclude, here are some statictics:

- the Greepster played 201 solo shows (counting the special Michael and the navy show)

- he played with 49 different musicians, with 48 different line ups (I count as a separate line up a show where the band is joined by a guest for only one song though)

- the top musicians who played the most with him (all from the north american band) are: Dave Strawn (103 shows, bass), Eden Marsh (88 shows, guitar), Cameron Campbell (86 shows, keys) and Santiago Moyano (86 shows, percussions).

Well I guess that's all, have fun playing with that and exploring the different arrangements and jams with the different line ups. Thank you for reading goodnight, goodnight, goodnight!
