Looking for 775 mx charger

This seems to be an impossible task. So I will leave it up to Reddit.

I’m looking for a charger for the MX I have used every paid AI model to search for a place I can even buy just the charger. It seems none exist unless I do some custom
Thing with chi which is expensive.

Here are the specs:

Input: 100-240V AC
Output: 75.6V DC, 5A
Battery type: lithium-ion / 18S
Connector: round 3-pin Julet-style plug matching your charger port

I have emailed bonnell, I’ve heard response times are forever so still waiting there.

Charged cycle works does not sell just the charger

CYC said they sometimes have them but are currently out of stock.

My local retailer said to reach out to CYC and bonnell.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, or if anyone. Has an extra, I’d buy it off you!

Bonnell customer service terrible

  1. i emailed bonnell 2 weeks ago about getting a new wheel after i was messing with the app and my bike dangerously rocketing out from under me and self destructing itself. and the only email I’ve received back was at 2 in the morning giving me options to purchase a rim or complete wheel and then getting ghosted again? anyone going thru the same thing?

What size

I rode/ride a Marin emtb alpine trail e2 large at 5’6 and it kinda fit and I’m growing pretty fast, the large is kind of a small large, and was wondering for the bonnell if I should get a large or medium bonnell, thanks! Also wondering how long medium would fit for

Registration of 775 MX in California

I bought a Bonnell 775 MX with plans to ride at CA OHV Motorcycle Parks such as Hollister Hills. These parks require off road stickers (e.g. Green Stickers) for admission. Unfortunately the standard procedure to obtain such requires a "Certificate of Origin" from the manufacturer. But Bonnell does not provide such, and communicates "Our bike is a class 4 e-mtb for offroad purposes only so does not have a MCO as that is standard for an e-moto".

At any rate, this complicates matters but there are apparent workarounds that include filling a Reg 254 "Statement of Facts" form explaining situation with the manufacturer not providing the above certificate. For those in the same situation I will be documenting my experience in this thread. For those contemplating a Bonnell in California this is a concern of which to be aware. Anyone who has experience in the process please comment!

How loud is your motor?

I always heard the motor in the YouTube videos and thought it was a little obnoxious, but now that I have mine, it just screams like a banshee. Is this normal? The pitch is so high. Hella fun otherwise.

5'4 older female rider, seems there is no small size. Is a medium able to be successfully modified for shorter reach to bars and lower seat height for a smaller rider?

Currently have a small Trance xe +1, can only just touch ground and reach to bars was too long. Apart from that I love the Trance but considering upgrading to a 775mx.

Thanks
