APHEX TWIN X VENETIAN SNARES X STINGRAY - LIVE AT ALL TOMORROW'S PARTIES (4/5/03)
youtu.beI need feedback on a song I made
I'm trying to make a breakcore/digital hardcore EP and I'd really like to make a song with early DHR vibes. What can I do for DHR vibes? I also made a breakcore song, which I'll post later.
The Recommendation Thread To End All Recommendation Threads
Hey everyone!
I've been wanting to listen to more breakcore, but I'm sooo tired of digging through search pages, rummaging through playlists, trying to remember names, etc. just to find music I want to listen to.
So, naturally, I've compiled a list of every single breakcore artist I know of, collected over the past few months. Each has a category, a small blurb, and a link to each individual's music, mostly on Bandcamp. It's currently sitting at around 180 entries.
The purpose of this list is to provide a quick and accessible repository for anyone to discover new artists, and to share to those who might be new to the genre and looking to dive deeper.
I'm certainly aware there are other, better databases. I'm not a web developer, and this isn't meant to replace RYM or anything. It's just meant to be available as a shortlist for people trying to fill out their catalogue.
This list is, of course, still a work in progress. If you have any recommendations, or any corrections, please let me know!
Let me know what you think!
Edit: First round of additions and edits is done. For artist suggestions, please provide the artist name AND a link to their music! Keep 'em coming!!
Edit 2: Added more artists. If I missed any, please just comment with a link to their music! Domain has been acquired and will be updated as soon as it's active :)
Edit 3: New domain should be up and running! https://www.breakcoreartists.com/
Edit 4: More additions, we're up to 240 entries!!
Thanks again to everyone for the submissions!

Otto Von Schirach
Straight out of the Bermuda Triangle and born of the swamp infested refugee world of Little Havana Miami, Otto Von Schirach is a slave to the soundwave and master of the booty bass cult! From buying his first drum machine from a crack-head just 2 blocks from his mom’s house and as a child watching his grandmother practice Santeria and White Magic, opening his eyes to the strange and bizarre! A true veteran of all things grimey and spooky, Otto has released a veritable plethora of music that has ranged from Electro Bass Noise, Gore Grind, IDM Glitch, Calliope, Breakcore Gabber Jungle, Gangsta Rap, Cumbia, and everything under the sun! He has worked with countless artists, all over the world, and did an extensive tour last year with Mr. Bungle and we are honored to have the only and only Draculo come through for his signature pineal bass cleanse!
Vixen Maw
Hot off the heels of their brand new album “Pervertigo”, Vixen Maw are one of NYC’s most bizarre reprobates of grinding audio mayhem! As one Decibel Magazine reviewer writes about their album, “I’ve been thinking all week about how to spell ‘psychedelic kaleidoscope’ because that is the only phrase that kept popping into my mind while listening to this band. Cartoonish twists and turns comparable to bands like Imperial Triumphant and Mr Bungle at their most inaccessible. Digitized nu metal breakdowns interspersed with cartoon samples and unexpected smooth jazz breaks, this band has it all!” Strap in freak friends, cause this is going to be whacky!
Baseck
The world renowned rave badboy, Baseck is in very simple terms an underground legend who has been banging out all types of glitch-hop drum n bass, breakcore, electro, techno, and is a master of all types of turntablism, GameBoy hacking, and live finger drumming, for decades! With deep roots in the LA party scene Baseck has been a long time titan in dance culture churning out blistering broken beat mania, DnB/breakcore chaos, and chest blasting bass for various labels throughout his career. He’s even been working with synth companies to help develop new Eurorack technology! We’re proud to have this BARCORE alumni back with us on this special night!
DJ Skull Vomit
DJ Skull Vomit is the metal‑infused breakcore project of Tony Welter, formerly one half of the ferocious Electro/Grind duo Eustachian from San Francisco. From his 2010 debut, a monstrous album and split on the legendary Cock Rock Disco and Peace Off, DJ Skull Vomit has consistently delivered punishing, extreme sounds that push the limits of gabber, grindcore and experimental electronic music.
Tony’s live performances are central to the project. High‑energy sets fuse relentless kick drums, feral grindcore intensity and screaming live vocals, creating a visceral, almost apocalyptic experience!
Donna Summer aka Jason Forrest
Originally from South Carolina, now based out of NYC, Donna Summer (aka Jason Forrest) has released records in the US, UK, EU, and Japan! He’s performed on 6 continents and his many, many shows around the world have garnered him a large international audience. His unique performance style usually involves much bad dancing, possibly some blood and a few shattered laptops! From running the legendary CockRockDisco record label, founding the Wasted Festival, to hosting a WFMU titled “Advanced D&D with Donna Summer”, Jason has been around the block throwing down his belligerent beats for decades! We’re stoked to be finally hosting this absolute gem of an underground champion!
Bit Shifter
Since 2001, New York City's Bit Shifter has been among those leading the charge in the global underground movement of chipstyle music! In a bracing distillation of the less-is-more philosophy, Bit Shifter's gear of choice is a stripped-down twin Game Boy assault rig. Armed only with two 37-year-old handhelds, Bit Shifter leaves high-end computer music choking on his exhaust, bringing twice the rock with 0.0002% of the processing power. Bit Shifter has released music with Astralwerks, Mirex, Hymen, 8bitpeoples, Ketacore, and 555 Recordings; has toured extensively around the world; and is considered a prime example of 8bit audio madness!
INF4NTA
An Ethiopian-Ukrainian DJ and producer focused on crossbreed hardcore with heavy drum and bass influence, INF4NTA brings hellacious sounds to the dancefloor! Known for her aggressive rhythms, dark atmospheres, and high-energy sound, she started out playing uptempo in early 2021 before moving into crossbreed hardcore as her main style. Since then, she’s released both crossbreed and uptempo tracks while building a unique sound that blends modern hardcore with drum and bass.
Body Nostril
One of our own homegrown heathens of BARCORE, Body Nostril bursts into this dimension and immediately makes a major mess. Low end pressure and unstable rhythms load the structure until it disintegrates. Wounded synthesizer lines ring out in decrepit churches. The tempo plods and squirms; the drag intensifies with each step. Austere machines etch my maudlin stories on filthy surfaces, and I call them Cavities. Come get some!
RJ-11
One of the founding members of BARCORE, RJ-11 has been involved with the underground dance culture since the 90’s and has always thrown down some tough as nails industrial hardcore and breakcore! From DJing countless parties and events, RJ-11 has been pushing the sound of grit far and wide. Recently putting out some beastly bangers on the Sleep Paralysis and MockRader record labels, this rudeboy knows how to keep pulses rising!
STATAS
One of the founders of the legendary 215noise/ULTIMATUM crew, and now as part of Organized Damage, Statas is looking to push hardcore electronic music into strange new dimensions. This veteran producer has toured multiple times across North America, delivering hypermashed futurecore breaks with relentless gabber kicks and Idm influenced soundscapes. Exploring mechanical themes in service of emotional, sonic response to the societal alienation of modern life. With upcoming releases on Mobcore and Reactionary records, keep an eye out!
Mike Video Punk
A staple of underground punk culture Mike Video Punk has been making his presence felt at events all over the northeast! With a flare for video distortion tactics and analog aesthetics Mike knows how to keep audiences mesmerized! We’re proud to have such a unique visual lane breaker with us on this special night!
2 Nero's Day at Disneyland / Lauren Bousfield albums returning to vinyl

My parrot dancing to 'Operation X' by Limewax & Panacea
Glad he took after his old man.
Christoph De Babalon's other releases are really underrated
Obviously IYIIIOOI is amazing but I strongly believe the rest of his discography does not receive nearly enough attention for how consistent he is. Massacure from A World of My Own might be my favorite breakcore track right now. Highly recommend giving the entire EP a listen..
200bpm WIP
What do you guys think of my tune so far? I know it needs a second drop but I just don't have the energy after working on it for 7 hours straight
Premier Record
Scandisk7
Really liked their music but it all got deleted a few days ago
Does anyone have some of their music saved and is willing to share so it doesn't become lost media?
New Depressive Breakcore Ep I’d love some feedback thanks! (No it’s not jungle)
ravegh0st.bandcamp.comBreakcore Makes You Gay Sample Pack (Breakcore Jungle 200+)
DO U WANT UR DUMB SONG TO SOUND FUUUUCK AWFUL??? Use these stupid breakcore samples.
We’ve got a lot of drum breaks and one shots and basses and pads and sound effects and copyrighted material. But anything legally actionable has been mangled beyond recognition so you should be good.
If you want to hear the sounds in action, they’re all sourced from this EP: https://mlemrecords.com/mlem015/
Go forth and make jungle or hyperflip or dubstep or power electronics or beat bruxaria if you want.
Hope you find some use for it, much love!

r/breakcore x Native Instruments - Beat Challenge (18 and over)
Greetings Producers of this here sub!
I am very stoked to announce this Beat Challenge, r/breakcore was reached out to in February to plan this online Event and now the day is finally here.
Whether you are familiar with Native Instrument products or not, Native Instruments have been a strong pillar in all sorts of producer communities since 1996 with products like-
Reaktor used by artists such as Venetian Snares, Richard Devine, The Flashbulb aka Benn Jordan and more outside the genre including Merzbow, Squarepusher and more.
Along with Reaktor, products like
Absynth allowed for sound designers to make sequences that producers could dream up into a reality, the gold standard for FM virtual synthesis.
Products like
Traktor allowed for producers to mix their own song live.
and with one of the most iconic VSTI back in the day
Massive took over multiple scenes at once with genres like Drum n Bass, Dubstep, House music, Trap and pretty much every EDM genre you can think of.
but one of their most iconic products is Kontakt and Battery perfecting the concept of a sampler library and sampler.
Their legacy doesn’t stop with just virtual synths, you have iconic FX plugins like Guitar Rig Pro 7, which not only caters to Rocker Foos, but is a great plugin for distorting 909 kicks to make some Gnarly Gabber kicks.
you got lush reverbs you can make with Raum, these are just some of my personal favorite products that i utilize from Native instruments as i have personally been a long time supporter of Native Instruments products since Komplete 13.
