Help with mite identification

Midwestern US, tried to include the coaster for size. At first thought it was a tick but after further research I was thinking some sort of harmless mite like concrete/velvet. Got myself down the rabbit hole and now my curiosity needs an answer from someone who actually knows what they're talking about.

Tick on my son

Hey everyone, we found this tick behind my son’s ear today. The tick was successfully removed and I took him to the doctor. The doctors seems to think there’s nothing to worry about and to just keep an eye out for any rashes but I am just so worried. I know the picture isn’t the best but my son just wouldn’t fully stay still for me to take a super clear photo. This looks like an engorged deer tick, right? How much should I be worrying right now? I am totally panicking and having to wait these things out just sucks. Any insight good or bad would be super helpful. I live on Long Island, NY. Thank you.

What do we got here fellas?

This seems to have came out of my sink. Looks like a bed bug, but nothing around my bed,(I just checked). But so far only in bathrooms I’ve seen. In Michigan. Also could be bat bugs. Found some on the side of the house hanging on a siding sign.

Is this a tick of some kind? In Southern Michigan

I didn't really think we were in long grass but if it's a tick I need to check my dog as well. For clarification, since it was already crawling on me I took a video to make sure it was clearly visible and then I immediately got it off of me. But I can't tell if it's a tick because I'm having a hard time identifying whether the pattern is the same as the photos I was looking at.

Is this a kind of termite? Southeast Louisiana

This is the 2nd morning after a rain the previous day where these have swarmed around my kitchen light. I can’t even use my kitchen before sunrise, which is unfortunate because I’m the only one in the house that needs to be up this early. I don’t recognize these as the termites that usually swarm this time of year - they’re slightly bigger and black, and they aren’t losing their wings when they land nor are they easily dying. They look more like flying ants to me, but I’ve never seen those swarm a light like termites.

I have a video of them swarming the light with these pictures to show my roommates (who wake up after the sun and miss these guys) and maybe our landlady what I mean, because I don’t think any of them understand these guys are *not* the usual pests we get this time of year.

Can anyone ID these for me? I’ve tried looking online at pics but I just can’t figure out what they look like when I’m searching.

Queen Southern yellowjacket? Or hornet. SEPA, USA

I tried pretty hard to get better pics than provided. If anyone has any questions I was able to get a much better view of it than the pictures I took.

Thanks!

what is this bug (NYC)

found in NYC, USA. I don’t suspect it is a bed bug (I checked under the mattress after finding him). possibly a tick? I’m unsure.
i found a similar bug(dead already) in a different room several weeks ago, but again seemed like a one-off. Bugs are cool but in small apartments in the city, can’t help but be worried!

Found in my bathroom but also found one similar in my bed a few weeks ago

Located in Brooklyn. I know this isn’t a bed bug but could it be another type of infestation? Any info would be appreciated!

Help with bugs taking over my North Carolina garden!

I went out of town for two days and came back to my garden coated in bugs I cannot identify for the life of me! I first noticed them on the rims of my pots and on the cement ground under them, but they are also on the plants, in the soil, and crawling up the railing into my hanging plants. They are very active and constantly crawling, they don't seem camped out in specific spots on leaves. This is a small garden of potted plants on an apartment balcony in the city and in two days they've gotten on every plant pot. I've already struggled with some aphids and suspected spider mites this year and just want to know if these are going to hurt my plants! They are small but I'm fairly certain they have six legs and antennae. The smallest ones are orange and larger ones are gray/silver. They mostly seem to crawl, not jump or fly. The bottom leaves for a few plants are suddenly yellow/drooping. I know a number of ants live in the planter just beyond my balcony but I've left them alone as I didn't think they posed any harm to the garden, just saying in case it is related? Thank you for any bug identification you can provide! Videos attached and I can send more.
