Hi all,

I have a 2008 base c6 and I recently widebodied the rear end but still have the stock front fenders. I got a set of stock z06 wheels - 275/35/18 front and 325/30/19 rear.

The rears obviously fit great, but in the front im getting some rubbing up top even when calmly driving through dips in the road and mainly the freeway. Wheel lock clearance is totally fine both directions.

I’ve read that 275 tires, while they poke out, will typically not cause too many issues on the base front fenders.

If I raise the front up a little (stock suspension with bolts) will that resolve the rubbing? Anyone else running a similar setup that can help? Thank you!

Hi everyone! I just got my hands on my first C6 and I’m loving it so far. But unfortunately, I noticed a leak. It looks like the fluid is coming from the hose shown in the picture. Does anyone know what this hose is called or what it connects to?
My guess is that it may be related to the power steering system since I’ve also started hearing a humming/buzzing noise when turning the steering wheel.

Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated 🙏🙏🙏

Just picked up this 2006 z06 and was thinking about changing the look of it. Should I keep it the way it is (yellow/black) or switch it up to a green? I’d change the wheels on both options.

So slight context, this is my first corvette. 2013 C6 grand sport (manual). Bought it with 11k miles about a month ago and just hit 17k. I did kooks long tube headers, catless mid pipe, corsa extreme exhaust and tune. Made 460whp on a wheel dyno and absolutely love it (BTR stage 3 cam next) but here comes the questions……

As I get deeper into the rabbit hole of this car I’m starting to learn these cars are fairly “unreliable” once you start getting up in power so I’m curious to know….. how much power. I’m really curious to know what the power rating/ how much abuse the clutch, trans, torque tubes, etc can handle. What is also the mandatory maintenance and any preventative things that I need to do.

I DRIVE THE CAR VERY HARD but I wait till oil temp is at least 175 and I have YET to do a clutch drop but I do take it to redline or close to it. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Planning on getting this car wrapped once I have the front fenders for the full widebody conversion. Would love to see what different reds look like on these cars.

Plus the wheels will be powder coated so also looking for inspiration on colors too.

Thoughts on this monstrosity?

2005 Base, automatic with 51k on it.
