Hey everyone ,so I’ve been a model for around 5 -6 months full time when I first started I was only on sm and was making 3-500 per week once I added on stripchat I was making a additional 2000 per month sometimes up to 3k and now I’m on mfc ,stripchat and streamate there’s nothing wrong with multi streaming I’m aware but I’m worried that it will sink my rankings if I’m splitting my $300 daily goal between these sites does that make sense? So like today sm only made $28 mfc I made around $3…. The rest was made on stripchat money is money bills dont care where the money comes from but I am a bit concerned 🫣 i can handle the stress of 3 sites as a time but eventually I’d like one site and one content site I’m wondering if I’ll ever get there ….im currently number 630 on stripchat but if I can’t make more it’ll sink out of the top 1000 🥲 I guess it just hurts my feelings a bit idk maybe im just overthinking any advice? Or opinion?🤷🏾‍♀️

I’ve had a bf for a little over 2 years and I just recently found out he cheated on me, he said it was due to me doing sw and he figured I was already cheating on him so he went and did it anyway. lol (I wasn’t). In the beginning he was all for me streaming, I keep everything online no meetups or anything. How do you girls find men that are okay with your career of choice? I’ve been worried that men will judge me for it and not be ok with it. When you first start talking to someone do you just say straight away what you do for work to weed out the people that wouldn’t like it? I haven’t talked to anybody yet because I’m nervous lol any advice id take into consideration

The day before yesterday, I literally streamed for like 14 hours & I only made $289. The stream itself wasn’t terrible, there were some cool people in the chat but the money just wasn’t there. I was enjoying myself enough to keep pushing though and I hit 50,000 followers which was cool.

I’ve been experimenting trying to figure out what seems to work for me and I’m literally just at the point where it feels like there’s no real strategy for increasing earnings, like it just honestly seems so random. During that long shift I changed locations several times, I cooked, made drinks, talked my ass off, changed hairstyle and outfits, did a quick shower on cam etc. I’ve made 3x the amount I did the other night just sitting around in the same spot in my living room, non nude.

I took last night off bc I just did not have it in me to log in. I feel the same today but I need the money so I’m trying to push myself to log in for at least a couple hours. I know the flair says comraderie only, but I wouldn’t mind advice if any applies. I guess I’m just feeling a little helpless and have been reminded that income isn’t a guarantee and sometimes even if you try everything, it really all depends on who comes into the room.

So, I see several posts in the other sub and some posts here about SM and all sorts of complaints. Myself included, obviously, but I come with a tip:

I always see comments to send everything to Liz from SM, but I have a question for you all: Have you ever tried to write emails directly to your Account Representative?

I'm asking it to let you know that this is a big deal to improve everything you may need, to have questions and doubts answered and start to grow, even if it's growing a little bit at a time.

I'd say to forget about Liz and go directly to your account rep and treat him/her as your best friend regarding anything you may need inside SM. I don't know if every girl has one in particular, but I started with an Account Representative with the same name as I (Aura), but I think they switched to my present manager as I'm Aura as well and things could get confused.

To sum up: Everything I need, every question I have, and every possible help I write to my manager, he was and has been a marvelous being, not a single problem is left unsolved.

In 4 days of inquiries and adjustments, and things I thought it was impossible to get, my manager made it happen and gave me everything I needed.

So, that's my advice for today: Don't let your Account Representatives disappear. "Grab" them and never let them go. They are our real friends regarding SM, and they want us to succeed. When I told mine that I was about to quit, explained all my issues, even my flag problem he managed to solve and now I'm seeing clients and money coming to me thanks to his help but it all started with me, searching for him and explaining everything.

The person who just posted about this fell prey to a popular scam. Don’t ever trust men who want to be your managers, make content for you, or who tell you they are some type of rep. Always contact the site itself first, and forward their information to them - if you aren’t sure, you can ask directly if something is a scam.

I do hope it is kept up, because it’s a very helpful post re: how scammers operate and prey on us as camgirls. It’s highly unfortunate. Protect yourself - they can often seem or be knowledgeable about the sites. All the help you need is already online on various subreddits like this one. We are also hear to point out if you are experience a scam, so feel free to bring us such questions.

You need to make sure you check email endings from any emails sent to you, and make sure they are officially from the site you work for. If not, it isn’t a real rep. Even if they seem similar, contact the site and their regular support first, or ask us. We will be happy to help.

Thinking we need a helpful scam page for the wiki. I’m focusing on getting the pod ready - but if someone is open to doing a write up on scams for the group, you are very welcome to do so! Well, SM used to pay $25 for every accepted Kwiky. But from what I can see now, that’s not the case anymore; you just post—without getting paid upfront (or is it $5? That wasn't specified)—and earn based on engagement. I mean, engagement? People barely engage there; most of the time they just watch and leave. I believe one of my regulars has figured out that if he pretends to be different users he can get more of my attention/time without feeling clingy and weird about it. However, I picked up on it pretty quickly. I don’t have 100% proof that it’s him but I’m pretty sure.
I like to split up my time between clients especially if it’s a busy day, so that all my eggs aren’t in one basket. It seems he made different accounts so that he can essentially be in a private shows with be back to back without me giving my time to anyone else.
This is obviously great financially, like BIG $$$ for me but also fucking weird as fuck ????

Currently I pay my accountant $300 CAD (~$213 USD) per month for bookkeeping, but my accountant literally asks me so many questions and I have to point out to them which transactions in my bank statements are business expense and which transactions are income deposits, that I feel like I might as well do it myself (with the aid of a program) and save the money.

I've heard QuickBooks recommended by people online, but I'm wondering what you guys use specifically for bookkeeping.

I'm the only employee and a sole proprietor, so I don't have to worry about payroll (no employees other than myself to pay!).

Alsooo guys! If you're downvoting this I trust you have good reason to, but if you could suggest an alternative (and be specific with it) that would be super duper appreciated!

I just feel, you tipped once for it yeah, that means you get it once…end of. If you want it back you tip for it again. I’m not sending and then resending content for you just because you deleted it.

So I made a promo account separately from this one a couple years ago focusing for GND/feet/panty sales, then life happened and I forgot all about building my actual promo account until I suddenly remembered it existed (I have severe ADHD and CPTSD, hence memory issues) 🤪 It's sitting empty with like 12 comment karma. I'm wondering if I should continue building it, or delete/remake now that I've refined my niches and my looks, and added findom to my list.

Another thing: when I started on here I was told it's good practice to build up karma posting in SFW subreddits before going into the promo sub reddits, but now I'm seeing advice to just start in certain promo subs with 0 karma, so I'm not sure where to go from here.

I announced that we would be starting a CGL podcast some time ago, or at least I wanted to do a camming pod for the community - wanted to check in who might be interested, or still is! I want to get this off the ground over the next month or so, and set up some interviews. It would take place via zoom and be recorded that way.

The idea would be to have 1-1 guests - you can share your cam name if you like, though you don’t have to. I’m still deciding on what I’ll do, and how freely I’ll share. I might just go by Margot vs using my last camming name too, or another name. Be aware that there’s a greater likelihood of customers discovering the episode if you share you cam name, but there are benefits to doing that, too. It’s a place to share what we do here - tips, frustrations, as well as more about yourself! What got you into camming, what your show is like, etc. Any advice you have.

Looking for more experienced models, but I think a newbie episode with several newbie models could be good too. Something like “Debunking camgirl myths” or “Common newbie questions” that we can have answered that way.

A question: should we call it the Camgirls Love Podcast, and share episodes on the sub? I think that would be really fun, and make it feel even more like a real community.
