So I FINALLY got set up on Stripchat. It was such a lengthier process than Chaturbate. But I do appreciate how organized and structured it felt in comparison.

When I went LIVE last night for the first time, the page was saying “there’s a problem with your stream. How to fix?” And so I clicked that. But the directions didn’t cross over to OBS for me. Like I looked and looked and could not for the life of me find any of the settings they were saying I needed to change. “Zerolatency” was the one I’d mentioned for being my problem. But legit I couldn’t find one setting that allowed me to switch anything with those.

I did have people coming into my room but very very few. Like maybe… 4 at a time max. So I did wonder if the “problem” was affecting that? I made 7tkns in an hour and finally got off because it was late and I was feeling frustrated.

Have any of you experienced this? I’ll do more googling etc today. I swear it’s so hard when you’ve worked yourself up to cam and then you get on and there’s a tech issue. 🫠 I know we’ve all been there. But lord.

Anyway, if you have any suggestions or anything for OBS plugins etc please let me know. I am currently using Atrium in pairing with OBS for my streams. It’s worked well with CB and Fansly.

What are your favourite ways to de-stress and relax after camming? I like to fully close the computer for the night/leave it on the desk and if it's early enough, I like to run a nice, hot bath to really let go. I won't do anything cam or tech related most of the time, as it helps to take a real separation from that world and being online. Sometimes I'll have a square of chocolate for a little pleasure, do some stretches, and listen to some music I find soothing or relaxing that might help me into sleep.

In my past career I had to learn how to set boundaries for myself from away from work to protect my mental health, and I think it's similar for camming. One thing I always do that's carried over from then is shake my hands and arms after each shift, like really shake them intensely while standing - it's a somatic regulation strategy and way to "get rid of" any bad feelings that came up that shift, so I don't take carry them in body or mind.

When I've cammed later at night, the ritual is shorter - just the arm shaking, putting devices away, and attempt to read a little before sleep to slow my mind down. I'm trying to move away from this and end by 9pm PST as I don't like the lack of transition too much, and miss working earlier in the day, so might go back to it if I can for the rest of fall/winter. I find when I cam late, I have a harder time really following my own boundaries and end up on my phone too much before sleep too (or our discord, which I love!)

What are some of your techniques or habits after camming sessions? If you don't have any, I highly suggest building some! It can be quite centering as camming is often a chaotic experience.

hello beautiful ladies!! i’ve been trying to do outdoor streams in my (very private, no worries!) backyard and i have verizon’s most premium plan, unlimited data but for some reason my streams are still pretty laggy. Even though on stripchat the live status in the upper left corner says “good” when it’s froze/lagged out, but it runs okay between 6-10 minute intervals.

I’m wondering are there any tips or tricks that some of you know that I don’t? Should I try downloading the Plasma app and stream through there instead? I’ve also tried using an app called “speedify” but it just seems to make the connection worse. i appreciate your help!!
