Protecting your voice during camming

How do you protect your voice and vocal chords when you cam for longer streams? I was just sick and am capping at 3h the past few sessions, but I know in general I can struggle with 4-5h and having quite a sore throat by the end. I'm definitely a talker in my sessions - sometimes an over-talker. I know many regulars love how expressive I can be in my streams, and share that it's a big reason they come (and tip!) so often, as they have fun with me. I'm the type to more often than not include a fair amount of dirty talk while live too, including in my private streams. I talk more in 1-1 privates as a Domme too, not less.

I would like to extend my sessions to around 5h if my health permits each day, and aspire to at least get there comfortably vocally-speaking. That said, I'm wondering what has helped you to slow down. A focus on teasing more, talking less? I have been thinking about this more, as I still do a fair amount of teasing and acting on my tips and goals. I have been wondering if embodying a little more mystery and less engagement might actually be good for my current brand.

I have almost the opposite problem of the models who sit there and stare into space or look at their phones, waiting to be tipped. I don't do that, and I can sell well, and also talk and get people engaged. Sometimes though, I need to shut my mouth more and keep my eyes on the prize, so to speak.

I have stupid allergies to a lot of artificial ingredients/some lozenges, so I wonder if you have other techniques for protecting your voice! Do you extend how much you tease, and are you more careful with what you discuss and share? I wonder if there are vocal techniques I could do that I just don't know about, certain teas, open to trying lots of things really.

Favourite ways to de-stress and relax after camming?

What are your favourite ways to de-stress and relax after camming? I like to fully close the computer for the night/leave it on the desk and if it's early enough, I like to run a nice, hot bath to really let go. I won't do anything cam or tech related most of the time, as it helps to take a real separation from that world and being online. Sometimes I'll have a square of chocolate for a little pleasure, do some stretches, and listen to some music I find soothing or relaxing that might help me into sleep.

In my past career I had to learn how to set boundaries for myself from away from work to protect my mental health, and I think it's similar for camming. One thing I always do that's carried over from then is shake my hands and arms after each shift, like really shake them intensely while standing - it's a somatic regulation strategy and way to "get rid of" any bad feelings that came up that shift, so I don't take carry them in body or mind.

When I've cammed later at night, the ritual is shorter - just the arm shaking, putting devices away, and attempt to read a little before sleep to slow my mind down. I'm trying to move away from this and end by 9pm PST as I don't like the lack of transition too much, and miss working earlier in the day, so might go back to it if I can for the rest of fall/winter. I find when I cam late, I have a harder time really following my own boundaries and end up on my phone too much before sleep too (or our discord, which I love!)

What are some of your techniques or habits after camming sessions? If you don't have any, I highly suggest building some! It can be quite centering as camming is often a chaotic experience.

Anyone notice you start trending on SextPanther at a much lower income now?

Has anyone else noticed this change with SextPanther? I’ve been on there for over a year now. Before I would need $300-350 to be trending, and now it happens whenever I hit $100–150, which is much less.

I wonder if they’re posting more models to trending, but I have a feeling instead that they’ve brought in so many models, earnings overall have fallen. I do trend almost every time I use SP barring a random dead night, but I often take home like $150-200 from there personally at a time for the most part. You’d think those trending would be earning quite well - it’s not even necessarily the case. I wonder if those in the top charts are noticing an income drop, or if other models have noticed this change.

It’s frustrating because they want us to have a following to bring in clients… but come on! Advertise a little. The site is often so buggy with loading issues too, they could do so much more for it. Sometimes clients will get frustrated while I’m just waiting for a video to load and send over (and my internet/upload speed is great, so I know that isn’t the issue). Now that they’ve extended into the UK, I feel like the $$$ to go around is going to get smaller with the type of oversaturation we’ve seen elsewhere. Thoughts?

Covert Advertising on Reddit: A Warning

I've noticed an increase in our sub as of late in some posts and comments that look like potential covert advertising and scamming. For newer models, please be sure to verify the credentials of other models offering to help via DM, including stats they share, or about accounts they lead, etc. What can look like sharing success or a win here can sometimes be covert advertising - I've noticed this in the other sub much moreso, and unfortunately it's starting to happen here.

They might state that they have thousands or hundreds of thousands of followers, heightened success in various areas/financially, and try to appear as if they are more professional and successful overall than they actually are. Fortunately, they often aren't the most savvy at this, and experienced models can catch them - whether it's mods here or other experienced cam models calling them out.

Do note that this will not be tolerated in this sub, and is seen as another type of promotion. At the same time, we cannot always fully confirm when this the case, so please do your due diligence with anything you read.

One place this very rarely happens is our discord! We have all verified models in there, and as far as I can tell, nobody has vastly misrepresented themselves there. Unfortunately with public reddits, almost anyone can create an account, pretend to be a camgirl, or even pretend to have higher follower numbers/financial success than they do. We've even had a "model" who posted her "successful earnings" but a mod realized she had created her chaturbate earnings chart entirely using AI. This was several months ago, and for the most part, I know our community is full of supportive camgirls and non-binary models.

That said, again - please just be careful, especially if you are new. Don't respond to DMs from men who want to be "managers" and also be careful about models who sell themselves, and don't offer proof (and no, a link to a random creator's socials is also not proof). Be aware, open to learning more, but also protect yourselves online. This goes for any subreddit... and as mentioned, I know this happen MUCH more in the other sub, which is not carefully moderated enough for this, as they allow non-sex workers to post and studio owners/affiliates/etc. Predatory behaviour towards new models who may be vulnerable will never be tolerated here!

Please do DM mods if you notice anything, or DM me screenshots directly if you have a conversation with another model/sub user and you realize you are likely being scammed or duped. Thank you for reading.

SextPanther ALSO using AI/automation to respond to model reports

I guess we should expect this of every platform now - SextPanther, in accordance with what Stripchat has been doing for months, is also now using automated responses/likely AI for our reports. This wasn't the case a year ago, as they often investigated reports individually, and you could tell there was a person actually responding to them who took them seriously.

Several models have now shared that their reports have lead to the following message, including with clients who have serious TOS violations, often with awareness they were violating terms. They were sent within a minute of each other even when multiple reports were made:

"Thank you for following up on your recent report of (username).
We have reviewed your report and addressed the issue with the User accordingly.
Please do not hesitate to continue reporting users who attempt to violate the SextPanther Code of Conduct."

Some reports came back within a minute of each other the next day, the same pattern as with Stripchat. "Addressing the issue with the User" = no suspension, no ban, no consequence, and most likely not even a conversation. We deserve better than what all these platforms are doing, and how they are treating the very models who earn for them. We need real protection from some of the sick men who unfortunately have VERY easy access to us. SP used to really protect its models from what I could tell and from personal experience, and felt like one of the "good" sites in this way. Not anymore.

This is an acceptable response for less severe violations, but all those I saw were worthy of a ban from the site. Our protection should matter most, and sadly, that’s increasingly far from how many sites operate.

Important: How to post on Reddit Safely and avoid Reddit Shadowbans and Suspensions

Many SWer accounts get shadowbanned (restricted) or suspended on Reddit for "spamming" - this happens when your account gets heavily reported, or you make the same photo posts over and over (or same titles) in many different subs. It also happens when you post using a NSFW promoter account on SFW reddits, and people report your account/comments heavily. It can happen simply because of too many posts at once that link to an external link on your profile (like Redgifs). I have noticed it increasingly by members of our sub, who are often leaving comments (and able to), but they are auto-removed and flagged by Reddit as "spam" because the account is shadowbanned or suspended. Their account also shows up as unavailable or says it was suspended when I click to see their profile as a mod. Usually, you are not informed with this happens by Reddit and cannot always see it yourself, which is extremely unfortunate. As a mod, I try to approve these comments and inform when someone has been suspended, but I don't always catch them, as they just appear removed in a comment thread and there is no alert for their removal.

To check if you are shadowbanned/suspended, it's often something others can see, or you can see for yourself when you sign out, and sign back in with another account (importantly DO NOT make comments or posts with this account, as you may be flagged for evading). Search your account, and see if it says it has been suspended in the profile. When you search for NSFW accounts they still should show up in search, but a shadowbanned one may not. You may also be able to do this in incognito mode, but I suggest another reddit account for this purpose, and also to create separation from your NSFW one. A suspended account will show the profile as being suspended. Reddit bans in contrast to shadowbans are total bans, and you are usually informed right away when they happen.

Tips for How to Post on Reddit Safely as a Promoter

To build karma for a promotional NSFW account, try to mostly post in NSFW subs or SFW ones explicitly friendly to sex workers. There are NSFW discussion subs out there where you can still build karma, and if you don't want those comments popping up on your wall at least (note you can still have them searched for via google and reddit, so read if someone wants to) you can select which communities show up on your profile feed. NEVER post the same NSFW content and/or titles to different subs a bunch in a row - even 2-3x is too much. Make sure you are switching up the content you post and titles you use with every post. Of course you can reuse content after a while, but you don't want to have a bunch of the same titles, and the same posts - this is what will get you shadowbanned, suspended or outright banned.

You can also get in trouble for posting too many NSFW links in your posts. Accidental shadowbans can also happen, as you may just have posted too many external links, and the Reddit bot for this is easily triggered.

Unfortunately, unless you work with reddit on this, it can be very difficult to then create a new account where you aren't then automatically suspended. This is because shadowbans, suspensions and bans are not username specific, and Reddit remembers information about device, wifi use, etc. Get in contact with their support ASAP (though no guarantee this will resolve the issue.) It is against TOS of course to engage in shadowban/suspension/ban evasion, so I will not respond to questions asking how to do this, and nor should anyone else.

Other Reasons for Removal and Splitting NSFW/SFW Accounts:

If you notice some of your content being removed automatically when posting as a new NSFW promoter account, you likely don't have enough karma to post in any given subreddit. Each subreddit can choose how much post/content karma they want before someone posts, as well as sets up automated takedowns if you haven't verified for some (it's not always clear in the rules if you need to verify). Note down what it says for the autoremoval, and try to get in touch with the subreddit's mods. Many unfortunately don't respond to questions about how much karma is needed, though some might.

Make sure to also have separate accounts for your NSFW and SFW posting and following for the most part. If you like to use hobby reddits etc, use a different account SFW non-promoter account. You are not meant to be using promoter accounts in SFW subs, and are likely to get reported and banned. It may feel discriminatory, but it's part of the way reddit works. As a mod, there is even a button you can turn on to filter anyone who posts in NSFW subs out of your subreddit.

I personally have an anon account for some of my hobbies/SFW subs, this account now just for modding here and going to creator forums, and another newer NSFW account for solely promotion.

Hope this was helpful! Please post any questions/comments below.

Mod Update: Changed and added some User/Post Flairs

You may notice some of the post flairs are different moving forward, as well as the user flairs! I added more and changed some things around. I realized some of the longer titles were formatting weird, and they had been set up by a previous mod. This strikes me as cleaner and hopefully they will be easier to choose from when making your posts!

To update your user flair: look on the side bar, it's usually located under the description if you're using desktop. On Mobile, if you're using the reddit app, look for the three dots on the main subreddit page next to our name/header and click that, there should be an option to "change user flair". If you're on a browser on mobile, click at the top to see more community info/about the community and scroll to the user flair section.

If you have some flair suggestions, you're welcome to comment below!

Chaturbate tip: you can download all your past private sessions

Hey all! I found this out recently as I make content and I’ve just downloaded about 25GB worth of private sessions from Chaturbate. It looks like our privates are recorded on the platform, even if we don’t record them ourselves!

Scroll down to the very bottom and click “Security Center” - from there, you will find the option to download your private shows. Scroll down a bit and click on “Privacy Center” then under the heading Data Export click “Export your Data”.

I have so much content from this to edit into videos now! I hope this helps those who wanted to use their past videos but hadn’t started recording them.. they were saved at least on CB all along!

Stopping using lush? Has anyone made this change?

The lush is a big moneymaker for me, but due to escalating vaginal/pelvic health issues I need to stop using it internally (for now, and maybe forever).

How has this affected your earnings, for those who have stopped or never used it to begin with? What adjustments have you made? I can still use external toys like my domi and vibrators, but nothing internal (luckily all my fingering is faked and I was already not doing penetration with other toys anymore). I’m wondering if camming is even worth it right now, as it was such a good way to build up towards higher tips too.

I’ll focus more on SextPanther and content for now, but would still like to cam on CB/SC in particular when I can. Thank you!

Balancing content creation and camming?

So, I’m a workaholic. I tend to overwork, and it’s definitely cost me in my life with various points of burnout, including while I’ve been camming. I started content creation quite actively a few months ago, and I’m struggling to balance it effectively with how successful camming has been for me.

Ideally I would love to do a bit of both and have them financially balance each other out so that I’m not always as “on” when it comes to camming, and also develop more passive income streams with clip/video sites etc too. Content creation and posting on OF/Fansly as well as advertising is not passive though, at least for me so far! That said, developing a big library is definitely my goal right now.

I’ve already given too much to the content, and am making only 1k monthly while camming/SP net me 9k last month. I still believe I can make more over time. Ideally I want to cam and do SextPanther like 2-3 days a week, otherwise content the rest. What it ends up looking like is working on content all day, and then fitting streaming in if I have the energy or pushing through, which I have to stop doing for my health.

Those who are successful at the balance - how are you balancing content creation and camming well? Have you chosen to largely focus on what or the other? Maybe I should stick with camming where I “shine” most and clearly make the best income. I’m tired, and camming so much gets repetitive, no matter the platform. I realized I definitely don’t have it in me to advertise too actively re: tons of TikTok and Instagram accounts etc, camming will be the main driver to subscribe as it has been so far, and I’ve started scaling back and doing minimal advertising (especially after having my third insta, one X account, and a TikTok banned). I’m now doing SFW only posting on social media outside of a telegram channel and free OF/Reddit.

Edit: I think more than the hours worked daily too, I’m curious to hear a breakdown re: how that time is spent, for those who have found a good balance and are successful in both areas. Scheduling posts out is a must for me always… it’s all this advertising and I think I got very frustrated that it seem to flag my relatively SFW posting even when I only have some mild cleavage going on.

Remember to read TOS on every site VERY carefully

It is incredibly important to read the Terms of Service (TOS, sometimes differently named) for every single site you sign up for. My suggestion is to get to know each site individually, and how it functions before you attempt to multi-stream as well, and really know the rules, because customers will push you to engage in what is unacceptable on each site. Some of you may be eager to start without fully taking in TOS, and end up making things awful for yourself, especially if you end up with a permanent ban and your money lost.

This also happens if you don't read the TOS - you are almost guaranteeing that you're going to be banned. There's a lot that we can't do, say, advertise, etc when it comes to cam sites or content sites and it isn't always so obvious. While there may be some overlap across sites, there are certain rules that only specific sites have that do not accord with others and thus you need to pay really close attention (one major example is on Streamate you cannot stream without panties on in the public room, whereas on other sites like Stripchat and Chaturbate, you can stream in the public chat fully nude). If you only streamed on Stripchat and Chaturbate and thought hey, I can do the same on Streamate - no, not the case at all, and you'll lose your ability to stream immediately.

Before starting camming, you should be doing a LOT of research to see whether it is for you. You should know about bots recording your streams and putting them up online, with you never being able to take them down (there are takedown services, but most of these sites operate online with servers that don't need to comply with regulations). You are signing up for a lot more than you might imagine, and it's important to be aware of all the risks before you make this decision, as well as all that you CANNOT do to stay in good standing for each site.

Once you are banned, often there is no overturning this unless there was an error on the site's behalf. They almost always keep any earnings you haven't transferred over as well. You are banned for life, and it might be on a major platform where you stream regularly, or were hoping to stream regularly on. It's really not worth it to not read TOS and comply with it fully.

As a newbie camgirl, I read everything I could that was available several years ago online - subreddits for camming, online blogs, info on selling and strategy, the creator subreddits, all sorts of stuff so that I could make sure I would be successsful once I started. I took many notes on TOS for the sites I was interested in. I spent several months just reading, compiling information for myself, and researching. I then started on Chaturbate only, and was there for six months before I added more slowly over time. It is absolutely key to spend a fair amount of time learning if you are going to be successful.

DON'T rely on people's tables and charts for TOS regulations either. This may seem to make things easier, but plenty might be out of date by the time you are signing up - sites update TOS regularly. For example, Fansly very publicly denounced furries on their platform and any related content, and this was a big deal for many content creators. Their TOS now reflects this, but a table made a few years ago might not reflect that change. Always go directly to the site's TOS and have a thorough read, as well as keep up to date on the news for each site after you sign up.

Anyone else gotten the Austin Powers Fembot guy?

This is the third time he’s added me, and each time he acts like he doesn’t remember me at all (maybe he doesn’t, what do I know). He then proceeds to want me to engage with him as a fembot from Austin Powers.

This roleplay seems to be all he’s into, lmfao. Makes me laugh every time making these dumb videos 😂 wondering who else has had this guy on SP?

We've reached 4k members! 🎉

We've just reached 4k members, yay! In contrast to the weekly views (lower than what the mod info states, for some reason!) We have 4k of you all in here taking part and following our little community. Thanks for being part of it!

I know it's not much compared to some other subs, but we also do not show up as much in searches - in spite of being more for "mature" viewing, a lot of bigger subs are still more accessible, while we have been age flagged by the site. This is appropriate as it keeps those 18+ in here, but also can make it harder to be discovered.

Do invite others here if you like it! Camgirls and non-binary cam models welcome, as well other SWers who are women (cis/trans) and nb too ❤️

Lowering your rates/prices can sometimes lead to more $$$

I recently lowered my rates across the board, because while I was making closer on average to $500 US/night, I was still having inconsistent low income sporadic days.

The result? Fantastic. Last night as SextPanther had been a bit dry for me, I lowered prices for all - video and calls, texting, audio, photos etc. I ended up getting a TON of people adding me and making all the money I needed there instead of streaming at all.

My lowered private rates have resulted in more privates, lower menu prices in more tipping. I’m making more overall. I’m now going to be on track to regularly be making $750-1k daily with all my platforms included, which is where I want to get to on average over the coming months.

Sometimes, you might price yourself as too “premium” to be reachable - it happened for me. Of course you want to value yourself. I do, and lowering my rates has allowed me to make more than I thought ♥️

[Safari] Community Invite Bug: No personalized message in invite showing up for receiver

There's a community invite bug happening. I send out personalized invites on mobile to users not part of our reddit community but who would most likely be interested.

When I send it out, I always write out a personalized message. I do it through the three dots next to their username on their profile and click "Invite to Community" as you are supposed to. I've had a few people respond to these invites, and they clearly only got "Visit (sub name) to join" and NOT my personalized written out invite.

Why is this not being included? It makes it feel like just a random spam invite, instead of incorporating what I had written out. I hope this bug is fixed asap, it's likely many users are dealing with it. Thank you!
