Anybody have any furniture they want to get rid of?

Hello everyone! I currently got accepted a couple of days ago to move into a new apartment. I previously lived in a small bedroom and don’t really have much furniture. I was thinking, if anyone has any furniture they want to get rid of, let me know! Taking whatever anyone’s got, it would really help.

Thanks!

Downloaded a s*x offender app and literally wtf

Are people aware of how many sex offenders are around us? It’s like the hub for predators in North Fort Myers / NE Cape.

(EDIT) NOT AN AD: Since some of you wanted to know, the app is called OffenderLocator. I’m new to the area so I wanted to check it out. Not meant to be an ad by any means, but after clicking through some marketing things, I selected 3 days free trial and then cancel it right away.

Jobs in or near Cape Coral

Hi everyone!

I’m 27 yr old with a Business Degree and am debating to move to the CC/ Fort Myers area to be close to my parents. I currently live many States away and have a job that I like but the pay isn’t great. I’ve only ever worked in Aerospace and it’s truly my passion. I’m not fully against exploring other paths but the thought of not working in this industry definitely devastates me as I know there aren’t many Aerospace company’s out there. However, I can’t really seem to find many jobs around the area on LinkedIn or Indeed that seem to pay ok. What does everyone do for work out there??

Also, wondering about the commute from CC to Fort Myers? Do you suggest for a young professional to move to the Fort Myers/Estero area instead?

any recs for vets who do ultrasounds and ekgs?

hi, my dog went to Banfield a few days ago (0/10, DO NOT RECOMMEND), and during x-rays, they found he has a possible enlarged heart and a mass in his stomach and recommended he gets an ultrasound and ekg from Blue Pearl. My mom went to Ft Myers and that location doesn't even do ultrasounds or ekgs. I've been calling places up and the only one we found so far is extremely expensive. We know they all will be, but we're shopping around.

any recs in the cape coral area? We'll go to ft myers too if we have to.

For Sale, Mechanics special!! (Cape Coral, FL)

For Sale, Mechanics special!! (Cape Coral, FL)

’04 Nissan Xterra 4x4. 120k ish miles. Have all work orders/receipts from me and previous owner. Last I did was new fuel pump, filters and lines.  Truck, ran but idled rough. Pulled into my parking spot, it died and I haven’t touched it since (about 8mos or so).  Has full brush guard (was offered $1200 just for it) and is a tank.  Biggest tires you can put on it WITHOUT a lift kit.  Speedometer was calibrated for it. I have title in hand. If you got the tools and the want, it’s a fun toy in the mud and sand.

I'm looking to downsize, you're looking to upsize, and my larger Cape Coral home comes with a potentially assumable 4% mortgage.

3/2 2400 square feet in NW Cape Coral with over 500 square foot lanai, half under truss roof. 2 separate living room and family room, 2 separate dining rooms, huge walk in closets in the 2 guest bedrooms. Raised 4 kids here. Looking to downsize. Are you stuck in your starter home or condo and looking for more space? Willing to relocate to Fort Myers or North Fort Myers.

what are the local setback rules for adding a boat lift in Cape Coral?

I'm looking at freshwater canal lots in central Cape Coral and need extra dock space. How far from property lines must a lift be placed and does the city require Army Corps clearance for interior canals?

No on Lauf!

First political spam text that I appreciate. We cannot let this lady win this district! She's never homesteaded in Florida and is running just to get to Washington. Vote for ANYONE that lives and has lived here.

iPhone season

Hello kind Cape Coral folks!

Just wanted to put myself out there, I work at the Verizon store on Cape Coral parkway location. It is iPhone season, the new I phone 18 comes out in 5 weeks. If you want any information on models, colors, etc. feel free to reach out or direct message me. There is also a rumor the Apple fold will finally be released as well. Phones will be on back order till December, so if you know you want one, let me know I’ll put you on a reserve list.

Also very aggressive promos on the 17 as well.
Or if you just want Information in general on our plan prices, and better deal promotions for switching carriers. I’m your guy.

You stay Classey Cape Coral.

Favorite walking trails in the North Cape

I am moving to North Cape Coral (smacked dab in the middle, neither west nor east)

I would really like some information about nice trails to walk or hike in the area. I like to do 5 km in the morning before work, and would really appreciate some direction.

Logo Creation, looking for an artist who doesn’t use AI

Basically the title, I’m looking for a local artist that can make a full logo/brand identity package that does not use AI. I’m a creator myself but not in a visual arts space, I’d love to work with someone who can handle making logos and branding.

Comment here or shoot me a DM with a portfolio or just some examples of what you’ve got. While digital design is probably the move, I’m open to hand drawn/painted/physical examples as well.

There are buyers out there. The opportunity is there. But the strategy has changed.

I don’t think we have one housing market anymore. We really have four.

  1. CASH BUYERS
They’re living in a different world. No mortgage-rate pressure, more flexibility and often a stronger position when it comes time to negotiate.

  2. FINANCED BUYERS
For these buyers, it’s all about the monthly payment. Mortgage rates, insurance, taxes and closing costs can matter just as much as the asking price. Seller concessions and rate buydowns can make a real difference.

  3. HOMEOWNERS WITH 3% MORTGAGES
This is a big one. Many homeowners would consider making a move, but giving up that low rate can be a tough financial decision. They’re not necessarily staying because they love their current home—they may simply love their current payment.

  4. BUILDERS
Being out previewing newer construction is a good reminder that builders are playing a different game. Rate buydowns, closing-cost incentives and financing programs can change the numbers considerably.

And this is where it gets important if you’re thinking about selling.

Your competition today isn’t necessarily just another home down the street. Buyers may be comparing your home to other resales and brand-new construction with incentives.

That’s why pricing, condition, presentation and negotiating strategy matter so much in this market.

There are buyers out there. The opportunity is there. But the strategy has changed.

Thinking about selling? Give me a call. I’m always happy to talk about what I’m seeing out there and where your home fits into today’s Southwest Florida market.

Car Insurance ?

Looking for recommendation’s for car insurance. We are purchasing a home in SW Cape but won’t move full time for a year. But we will be buying a car to leave at the house. So I need to insure it as reasonably as possible. We will pay cash so it won’t be financed. Thanks in advance for any help.
