Now that the official home kit is out, when do you lads reckon we get a look at the away kit? Any ideas for it? I’ve heard some people saying they’re thinking it may be a black kit based on some of the items that are in the new shop

Coventry City FC can confirm a number of staff updates at the football club.

Dean Austin, who has been the Club’s Head of Recruitment since December 2022, has been appointed as Sporting Director.

In his new role, Dean will oversee all football and recruitment across the football club.

We can also confirm that Jamie Johnson has stepped into the role of Head of Recruitment.

Jamie has been with the Sky Blues since February 2023, working as the Club’s Head of Scouting.

He has enjoyed an extensive career in football, with scouting roles at Tottenham Hotspur, Brighton, Huddersfield, Derby and Sunderland, and having been Chief Scout at Rotherham United and AFC Wimbledon.

Elsewhere, we would like to welcome Sal Bibbo who joins as our new Goalkeeping Coach.

The 51-year-old represented Basingstoke Town, Crawley Town, Sheffield United, Chesterfield, Ards, Reading, Havant & Waterlooville and Bath City during his playing career.

As a coach, he’s worked for Reading, Arsenal, Sheffield Wednesday and most recently Scottish Premiership side Rangers where he spent the 2025-26 season.

We can also confirm that Aled Williams has left Coventry City. We wish him well for the future.
