Head Coach Frank Lampard provides an update on Haji Wright

Wright ruled out for 3 months with a quad injury.

Rudoni and EMC are in contention for Friday.

Head Coach Frank Lampard has provided an injury update on forward Haji Wright.
The striker has been absent from recent friendly matches against RCD Espanyol and AS Monaco.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of the Premier League opener against Arsenal, Lampard said: “Haji Wright won’t be available for the Arsenal game.
“He won’t be available for a little while, he’s got a very serious quad injury which is disappointing for Haji and for us.
“It’s certainly going to be a number of weeks, could even be up to 12 weeks.”
Lampard did have more positive news on Ephron Mason-Clark and Jack Rudoni, who have also missed matches in pre-season and confirmed they will be both be in contention to face the Gunners.

It doesn’t look like we’re getting a LB before Arsenal away

What’s the plan as even if we do sign a LB before there’s no way he’ll start.

Is Lampard playing Dasilva?

Is Lampard playing a back 3?

>!Is Lampard playing Bidwell? Please let this happen!<>!🙏🙏🙏!<

Maybe he’ll play a 3-5-2 with all the strikers we have!

What do you think is happening?

The best match you’ve ever seen in person?

What’s the best Coventry match you’ve ever seen in person? For me it’s when we beat Bristol City 3-2 after being 1-0 down and down to 10 men at HT and Godden scoring a last minute winner, but I’m interested to know the best you’ve seen.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek rumours

Apparently the club have had a bid rejected by Milan for RLC.

What are your thoughts? I don’t hate it but we have a lot of midfielders now, maybe that would force Yirenkyi to have minutes at CB

New fan

Hey all! I’m an American fan looking to get back into the premier league scene. I use to follow Chelsea back in the day when they had Petr Cech, but didn’t want to follow one of the big teams this time around. Especially since all the players I knew there are retired. So I decided I wanted to follow Coventry mainly because I liked their crest and the fact that they just got promoted. I mean who doesn’t love an underdog? So that being said, as a new supporter what all do I need to know about my new team? Looking forward to our opening match against Arsenal this Friday!

What is your centerback partnership for this season?

Since we have 3 centrebacks with kinda similar skill level(Amenda,Kithcing and Thomas), what do you think which 2 will start the season and which 2 would be considered as our main centerback partnership?

Line up advice.

Looking for FPL advice, apologies if I'm breaking a rule!

I'm thinking of doing a Coventry triple for bench boost GW2 and have the 2 popular picks in Thomas and VE. My third pick is currently Grimes due to set pieces. My question is, is he certain to start?

Thanks and GL this season. I really hope and think you will stay up!

If you could make one more signing this summer, what position are you fixing?

I’m pretty happy with how the squad is looking, but there’s always that one area where you’d feel a bit more comfortable with another option. For me, adding a bit more depth there could make a real difference over a long Championship season. Injuries, suspensions and the usual run of fixtures can quickly test the squad, so having another reliable player could be useful.

Maybe it's Stockholm Syndrome but I already miss the Championship a little bit

I know I know I know, the Prem hasn't even started yet.

We've been away from the top flight for so long.

But watching some of the highlights from the opening weekend...

It's simply real English football.

Less commercial and more passionate.

Maybe it's also because we had such a successful campaign, that I've got kind of used to winning.
