Maybe it's Stockholm Syndrome but I already miss the Championship a little bit

I know I know I know, the Prem hasn't even started yet.

We've been away from the top flight for so long.

But watching some of the highlights from the opening weekend...

It's simply real English football.

Less commercial and more passionate.

Maybe it's also because we had such a successful campaign, that I've got kind of used to winning.

What Prince song makes you jealous that you didn’t write it?

For me that song is Raspberry Beret.

It’s not even my favourite song of his, yet it’s so simple, so catchy, so timeless.

What’s Prince’s most ‘I am HIM’ song?

What song where he just lets everyone know he‘s ‘That Guy’?

Bean and Leaf Coffee House will be relocating away from the city centre after 9 years!

Apparently they’ll be relocating to Middlemarch Business Park.

Now don’t get me wrong, I love their place and all, but I ain’t going out towards Cov Airport just to grab coffee.

Their whole ‘thing’ was being the best hidden gem coffee house in the city centre.

Any decent city centre alternatives? Please recommend something besides Warwick Row and Baxters.

You have 5 mins to play one song from Prince’s entire catalogue and introduce a friend who’s never purified themselves in Lake Minnetonka. What you picking?

I had this exact scenario with my friend who was curious as to why I am such a big fan. I ended up playing When Doves Cry but for some reason I don’t think he quite ‘got it’.

80s vibe wasn’t his thing.

I was annoyed with myself afterwards but was paralysed when put on the spot - so didn’t know what else to play.

It makes for a nice change to 'Lampard's Coventry' I guess
