That beautiful calm before the summer tourist storm. British museum. British Museum.

Yes, I am fully aware the museum and its contents are an issue of internationally controversy.

Why are meal deal prices so varied. £5.50 next to my house. But £3.85 elsewhere, this is the price I expect and demand. Bermondsey.

Also not worth making the detour to get it in the morning, but still

Merkamo - Brick Lane. Great Ethiopian vegan food, was lovely to experience. Works out about £10pp for the sharing platters

Am not a vegan, but would definitely recommend a try. They also have a stall at Spitalfields Market

Not that pokemon is anyway shape or form cheap, but this store has some good deals and tickled my nostalgia just enough to make a frivolous purchase. Brotherhood games - Peckham.

£4 a pint of Guinness in London is a great deal at every Simmons

Is Simmons the the wetherspoons? Because I went there the other day and was shocked at how cheap it was especially seeing as all their locations are so central.

Any London restaurants with actually good weekday deals

Feels like more places are doing off-peak specials lately but most of the ones I’ve seen haven’t been anything amazing.

Roujiamo are like a Chinese sausage roll mixed with a burger... quite hard to find on a typical Chinese menu

This one is on Red Lion Street not far from Oxford Street.

Drinking at a Hostel is a great little life hack. Cheap drinks, friendly strangers that you may never see again, and cheap rooms if you get too drunk to go home. Wombats Hostel.
