Anyone know what this sound is. I’ve got a 350 the noise started after I was driving kinda hard and it shifted into third and it made that same noise. Now it makes the noise every time I really give it any gas. Besides in park and neutral I can rev it hard and it doesn’t make the noise.
Was wondering what front bumper I can install on my truck that has a roll pan. Looked on YouTube but couldn’t find a video. Any advice appreciated
I’m just looking to sell my 1977 GMC k15 and just don’t know how it would be worth.
The highlight of the truck in my eyes is the factory wood bed, I’ve heard this is quite rare but not 100% sure.
Tangier orange matched with a red interior from factory, a weird colour combo I feel like only a few with that colour combo.
From factory came with a 400sbc sadly don’t have it anymore and I rebuilt a 350 for it.
Comes with dual tanks and have factory rally wheel with the beauty rings.
Has the typical square body rust but a pretty straight truck. Front fenders are in really good shape, have a good hood from a different truck. Need cab corners, rocker, and a new floor. Driver side box panels is straight has surface rust. The other side needs some work.
Have a good seat, brand new dash, good sun visors,new floor mat, have a retro style radio for it.
Rebuilt 350, new rings,bearings, cam, cam bearings,intake.
new lifting springs in the back. Blocks on the back 1.5”
Brand new tanks, sending units, fuel lines.
Great truck to be restored.

My Father recently passed away suddenly. And I am taking up his torch on the 72. He loved working on it and I want to finish it in a manner that would make him proud.
It runs great. Has an awful and amazing air ride that I may swap out for coils (it has a leak that he spent forever trying to find.) he has some Vette rims that look good but I worry about the low profile tires. He did a lot of work on the motor and put in a floor shifter. I know there is a TON that I don’t know about what he has done to it too.
Any sites to find info or parts? I’d love to have a repair manual for it but for now I’d be happy finding somewhere to get questions answered and source what I need for repairs.
I recently had timing done again after previous mechanic messed it up. No more skipping, sputtering or back firing. However, when I’m at a complete stop and mash throttle, it wants to bog down for a second then catch at wide open.

No vacuum leaks
Does have exhaust leak after first o2 sensor
TPS valve checked seems fine
New temp sensor
Anyone got an idea before I change these spider injectors??

I hope I’m wording all this right lol. Need some thoughts on why the engine is running so lean. Sounds good at idle and while running but something is just slightly off. Air/fuel is low anywhere from 11 to 12.5
It's a '61, an old Helms Bakery truck. I painted it, changed the dash & seat, swapped the engine to the 327 but haven't done a lot to the rear interior.
Hey all, don’t see any longform videos on Reddit, but would love some feedback on my overall thought process here. Not sure if I’m thinking about this in the right order or in the right way, but would love to get this thing on the road and looking good as fast as possible.

I’m at a crossroads here, would it be easier to “force” some patina on this truck and seal it, or paint the entire thing. Any tips for going the patina route?

Have an 86C 10 with original exhaust system. Looking for affordable options to replace. Has anyone used this specific one before? I have a glass pack I would use instead of the muffler that comes with, so mostly just would be using the pre-bent pipes.
