A photogenic woodpecker

Went to Montrose yesterday and added several lifers to my list: Canada Warbler, Scarlet Tanager, and the Wilson Warbler. On the way to see the piping plovers, this little woodpecker came up close and I was able to get a quick photo with my phone.

So thankful to have the Montrose Sanctuary!
