Did anyone have a seroma after chin lipo + facetite? My experience has been a nightmare. I got a seroma that didn’t stop filling and an infection. Dr had to take a needle twice to aspirate all that filled and then I had to have a drain(which the Dr said would cause a scar that he can later fix)…
I’m 12 days after surgery and today I hope the seroma is gone and I’m on my second round of antibiotics.

Anyone experience anything similar? What was the outcome of your surgery?

I was looking the same as my before for weeks, and my swelling has been awful but I started getting lymphatic drainage massages and I’m starting to see relief. I wasn’t cleared by my doctor to do them until 1 month PO because of the facetite.

I really hope it continues in a good direction. Maybe you guys can’t really tell the difference between the two but I can see it in person a little :)

Really looking forward to 6 months - a year post op.

I am 7 weeks post-op from chin lipo and implant surgery. Everything is healing well. However the right side of my lower lip and chin were extremely numb up to about 2 weeks ago. I have feeling back again thankfully…so I guess there is some improvement. But I still cannot move those areas. Basically my mouth can’t move down. So I cannot smile, laugh, or even speak normally. When I smile/laugh, only the top of my top teeth show, which is not normal for my smile. I sound funny when I speak, and now cover my mouth when I smile or laugh because I look so awkward not being able to move my mouth downward normally. Will this improve? I’m so worried of being stuck like this. Attaching a pic so y’all can see what I mean.

Considering getting a chin implant and chin lipo as I’ve always been insecure about my lower third. Is this the move? If so, any surgeon recommendations in or around Michigan?

I am 6’0 and 215 lbs, so I’m aware losing weight could help with the double chin, but it won’t help with projection. My ideal result is the last picture.
