1 month + 1 wk PO

I was looking the same as my before for weeks, and my swelling has been awful but I started getting lymphatic drainage massages and I’m starting to see relief. I wasn’t cleared by my doctor to do them until 1 month PO because of the facetite.

I really hope it continues in a good direction. Maybe you guys can’t really tell the difference between the two but I can see it in person a little :)

Really looking forward to 6 months - a year post op.

3 weeks PO I look like before surgery

Before and now. 3 weeks 1 day PO

I know my full results won’t be until 6 months.
I know everyone heals differently but people are posting 3 weeks results that look INCREDIBLE and I’m like why do I look like this

No direction/disorganized Dr office: help

Help please 🙏🏻
I’m having a negative experience post op. The Dr’s office number that we communicate with/front desk staff is so disorganized I’m really struggling.

I’m 5 days PO. On the day of surgery the girls were all saying to me and my partner “if you need ANYTHING just message we’ll get back to you right away!” But they almost never reply.
They didn’t leave me with PO instructions except to not touch the bandages AT ALL until my first PO appointment. I was asking if I can wash my hair when I shower and when my PO was, it wasn’t like I blew them up.

They had me come in yesterday for a wrap removal and wound clean up appointment. So day 4.
I’ve had this surgical gauze and wrap stuck to me for 4 days and can’t even wash my hair (which I clarified with them, yes I cannot). At this point it feels urgent I get this shit off.

She sits me down on the chair and tells me she doesn’t think they can remove the wrap or check on my incisions, that they “can’t get a hold of the Dr and need his permission.” 🚩🚩🚩
This is why I’m here? I paid a taxi to bring me here just for her to tell me “maybe you come back tomorrow? We’ll message you.”
I told her I really would like them to at least check the incisions to make sure I’m healing right and that I was worried. As she was repeating herself and started to ask me to go to reception the Dr calls her back. She smiled “ok we can do it! You worry for nothing it’s fine” and they removed my wrap, cleaned my wounds and rewrapped me.

Then reception said they would message me later today (yesterday) to let me know when to come in for my next appointment for stitch removal. They didn’t. I messaged them to ask and got a response today that I can come in next Monday.
I asked if I can take this wrap off at all during this time to wash my hair (6 more days!) they said “Sorry dear no” and that’s it.
Only other instructions I got was don’t eat salty food.

I’m really disappointed. I can obviously google what to do what not to do. But it seems like I’m being given very little information.

I probably sound dramatic or emotional. I am. I’m on my period and stressed. I feel greasy and my skin is itchy from these wraps. I’m frustrated.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you 🙏🏻

Just finished The Sopranos (1st time)

Incredible show. My god.

Tony Soprano is such a well written character and James Gandolfini (R.I.P.) brought him to life unbelievably.
So many thoughts about the show but first: How do I convince my boyfriend to watch it with me? I’m ready to do a rewatch and he’s got to see this masterpiece.

Tony? I love him. I sometimes couldn’t stand him but I truly love his character. Iconic. I think I have a crush on him (pardon my daddy issues). Him curb stomping Coco’s face 🦷 for what he said to Meadow I CLAPPED 👏🏻 We all deserve that protectiveness.

Janice? SO AWFUL I only started to like her at the very end of the series. She’s a perfect connection for us as viewers to Tony’s dysfunctional upbringing. The scene with her that sticks in my head is when Tony set her off about her son Harpo when she started anger management. Omg that scene 🎬

Chris! Ok I don’t like Chris but I love him if that makes sense. After watching him all that time he starts to feel like family. I can’t stand him hurting Ade every chance he got, but watching him try to find himself and battling addiction felt so realistic to life.

Carm? Well. Tony obviously was in the wrong a good chunk of time but she lives to talk down to and belittle her man. The nagging wife personified. I think that part of her is why she clashed so hard with Meadow once she started getting an education and had that dinner party with well educated guests. Carmela is SO upset that she raised an independent intelligent young woman.

AJ was frustrating at times to watch. His 💀 attempt was gut wrenching and fantastic acting from both he and James. His ex fiance may have been the most beautiful woman on the show in my opinion.

Dr Melfi! I just love her. Her delivery of her lines always gets me, she feels like a real person. As someone who benefited greatly from therapy I have love for a strong woman in that field. I was very shocked when she didn’t use Tony to get revenge on her assailant. I would have, no hesitation. She has much stronger convictions than I do.

Ade. Omg. This woman is fantastic. She steals every scene she’s in. The FBI agents checking her out in her lil tennis outfits was hilarious and relatable. My favorite quote from her “Why don’t you go haunt a house or somethin’!” To the FBI agent popping up on her. With a mouthful of gum always. I was truly devastated to see her gunned down like a dog but obviously she made the wrong choice. DAY ONE of the FBI approach she should have evoked her 5th and immediately told Ton’.

Pussy. Idk about yall but his working for the FBI was very interesting to me, the dynamic of everything and the talking fish in Tony’s fever dream gave me chills. It’s just eerie and strange. Him popping up a couple times after his death always surprised me, too.

There is a lot of death in the show. I think what got to me most were the dream sequences. “Test Dream” and Tony’s coma dream, the dreams in the car with Ralphie and the caterpillar on his head. Gloria’s scarf right after her suicide. They all touched me in a spooky way. I’m sure I’m not alone in this.

Anyway. LOVE the show. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. Let me know some of your take aways 🫶🏻

Tv characters that reaffirm your love of women?

Gabby from Desperate Housewives, Hannah from Dexter and from The L Word: Shane, Carmen and Catherine 🥰

Who are your favorites? Gabby was my first crush on a woman character I think I was 12 when I saw her.

Meadow’s voice in Tony’s coma

I’ve cried over some good tv before, sure. But I just watched Tony wake up from his coma because of Meadow’s voice. Oh my god.
A little girl begging her daddy not to go when he’s going toward the white light? Chilling and heart breaking.

Did this scene hit anyone else particularly hard, too? I tried searching for posts about it but it was mostly posts about the series finale to pop up.

Update: touch up today

Here’s my:
- before (2023 old microblading)
- new session
- healed
- touch up

I’m really happy with them but the shape is still not what I’m used to. I used to do my eyebrows really tiny but I am getting compliments on the change. What do you guys think?

Finally done peeling!

Before, the day I got them done and today after 9 days of healing.

They peeled very unevenly I was so worried! My touch up appointment is in a couple weeks.
I’m relieved that I am liking the shape. I was in shock for days tbh about how thick they are now

Update: before and immediately after

The before was.. pretty bad. I was doing a goth brow thing for a while where I had a very short and high tail. I included a pic of what the before looked like with heavy makeup filling it in.
After a while it bothered me that my eyebrows were so far from my brow bone. It’s not perfect but I’m excited to see them healed. I think it’ll look a little “2016 makeup look” but I get to wake up with brows, even if it is very makeup looking 😊

My previous microblading was in 2023 and she refused to do dark brown on me so even when they were new they weren’t dark enough for me.

Be honest with your opinions, just not cruel 🫶🏻

Getting microblading done again tomorrow

Please don’t go too hard on me. I know they’re bad. You can see my natural hairs and also where the previous microblading was done in 2023.

What shape do you recommend? I told her I want them to be longer and fuller. Also of course correcting the very different shapes (one looks more angry)

What do you think?
