Marle (Chrono Trigger) How to Draw
What do you think of my art?

What do you think of my art?
Do you guys think is ever going to be released for switch? What could be the reason why they're still not releasing it?
So, i played this game till reach the end of time and because of university works, i needed to take a break. Now, 2 months later, i returned to the game and im kinda lost? I mean, i know i need to go trought the portals and do whatever i need to do in there, but there's a main route? Or can i just go whatever way i like?
Another thing, can someone refresh my mind about the lore till now? I think i remember everythint, but i cant remember if im forgotting something.
Is there any source that names this creature/statue featured in the belly of the Fiendlord's Keep?

Last night I dreamt that I had a CRT and plugged in the SNES game
And I was SHOCKED by how much better it looked than everywhere else
Blacker blacks, a 3D-like look, amazing
Then I woke up. Was this a dumb dream or is there anything to this that it really does look much better on a true CRT vs. fake scanlines?
(Yes I know this is an absolutely stupid dream to have)
Paralyzed. Seriously, the whole section with Lucca going back 10 years into the past and shutting off the machine flew completely over my head. I asked myself what the whole point was because Lara's still alive in the future, the only difference is that she gets off the chair and says she's gonna go for a walk. Then I read online and you know the rest.
...JUST Magus?
I know, I know... you can't have just one party member during these battles, at least not without modding the game. But Magus is very capable on his own (he "doesn't play well with others," as I like to say), and of course he even >!takes on Lavos alone in his own ending. 😬 (Good luck, buddy...)!<
Heck, he gets to override the boss theme against his own mom. I don't think this can happen with the final battle, but ya gotta admit it's satisfying to see him succeed against Lavos alone.
Although you can't remove the other characters from the party, you can bring them in at 1HP so they'll die immediately in the first phase. You'll have to just let them stand there in subsequent phases, though. You can wait for them to get knocked out, or just have Magus attack while he uses them as meat shields. 🥩
What do you get for this? NOTHING! Except maybe satisfaction that you did it. ❤️ This will probably require at least a couple of NG+ restarts.
Extra credit:
Use only Magus from the moment you get him. Have the other characters stand inactive in battle. Don't finish the Death Peak quest (or if you do, use Magus/Robo/Ayla -- all three are low dialog priority in the last scene, so you may get some dialog you haven't seen before).
Smh, yeah, the game would look great IF you would set the correct aspect ratio...
I have been playing through the entire Dragon Quest series and wanted to take a look at Chrono Trigger to see if there are any parallels. And I found something worse... I think I like Chrono Trigger more and any DQ game I've played yet.
I've been playin for the first time every night for the past 3 weeks or so, and just got back after a short trip and my steam deck had died while away. I was saving a lot but I guess without a clean exit the emulation software I was using can lose saves. I had just >!gotten Masamune and gave it to Frog, and was just watching the cutscenes for his backstory!<
I'm really really bummed! The game has been so much fun and finally playin it after all these years has been a ton of fun. But now starting over... uggh idk if I have it in me.
Give me your advice oh wise CT redditors
Was really cool, I see why it was so well liked. Played the DS version, got ending 01. Just a super fun game throughout and the pacing was good, I'm not super big into JRPGs, but it wasn't stupidly difficult that I was redoing bosses 100 times over, and it wasn't like Pokemon where you walk through some grass and get attacked, then attacked again, then attacked again. The live combat system was pretty cool, I think this was a DS addition to the game? I liked it, kept it feeling fast paced since I'm not crazy about slower turn based games. I'm excited to play Chrono Cross next, though I have heard it's a significant departure from this game.
