How a YouTube Copyright misunderstanding led to a permanent account termination?

I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone has gone through something similar. Over a year ago, I received 7 copyright strikes (around the same short time) that ultimately lead to my YouTube account being terminated. At the time I believed a YouTube copyright message meant certain uses were permitted and I misunderstood the rules.

I’m not seeking to become a creator again. My goal is to simply be allowed back as a regular user for basic Youtube features and to participate in the community.

I’ve explained my story in full detail with evidence in the Twitter link - https://x.com/marktonna1/status/2069400624739795071?s=46

However, I understand that not everyone may feel comfortable using a link so I've made a short video that quickly shows the Main tweet and replies I made along with documented evidence.

Issues with Refund

Has anyone had an issue like this with a Sézane return?

I placed an order for around £1,000 and returned most of it using Sézane’s own return label. I have video evidence of the items being packed, the box being sealed and labelled, proof of postage, and tracking showing the parcel was delivered. Sézane also confirmed they received the return.

After weeks of chasing, sending evidence and even completing a handwritten sworn statement, they’re now saying their workshop didn’t receive the return and are refusing the refund. Despite me fulfilling my obligations as a customer. The Royal Mail tracking shows it was delivered to them and I have an email from Sézane on the same day confirming receipt of this. Even if the workshop has lost it, I’ve done my part, so surely they must honour the refund as the issue is with their workshop and not me.

I’ve now disputed it with my credit card provider.

Has anyone else had this happen with Sézane? If so, what was the outcome?

7 Weeks of Samsung Support Runaround: Trade-In Held Hostage, Order Cancelled, Defective $300 Code for $399 Ring

I ordered a Galaxy Ring ($399) back on June 17, 2026, and sent in my trade-in device. Samsung held the order for nearly a month, then arbitrarily cancelled it.

The Timeline of Broken Promises:

  • July 13/16: Promised full promo code reinstatement within 1–3 days.
  • July 23: Sent non-working codes. Promised a resolution in 24–48 hours.
  • July 30: Back Office sent code for only $300 instead of $399—and the code was defective and invalid in their system.
  • August 6: Texted by support stating they have "no new information" and told to contact the Office of the President.

Samsung is currently holding my original trade-in ring without fulfilling the order or issuing a functional $399 replacement code. Complaints have been filed with the FTC, Maryland AG, and BBB.

Has anyone had success getting Tier 3 / Executive Care to actually return trade-in property or issue a working full-value replacement code?
