Firecracker Animation

As vaguely requested by cellframes, a little Firecracker animation in color. This was a good little animation to get into the rhythm of it again. I hope you guys enjoy!

[OC] More of “El Intocable”

More of my OC “El Intocable” Guy Reyes. A fighter who seeks to develop perfect defense.

I Think this sequence gives us a pretty clear order of their battle intelligence

I think its a clever way to both show the fighters reactions while also letting us know how capable they are by showing when they realized

Pistol Foot Pete is my least favorite of the strongest by a wide margin.

It's so strange to me because it's not like he's even a bad character or not interesting. He's a chill guy, I like his cowboy gimmick, he's charming enough.

But I don't know man, he just doesn't click with me the same way EC, VI, Tomahawk, or Scourge do as characters.

(God and a Box and Florida Man are fun but they're... well, gimmicks, even if they're fleshed out and well done gimmicks.)

I guess he just has Mary Sue vibes to me, but Pinakanaka is a good enough writer to make it mostly work.

I think for me is I just don't feel like he ever really earned his strength or was 'pushed' the same way everyone else was. Maybe that's subjective. It feels like he was just born OP and that's that. Sure Monkey is also born OP but he had to learn a hard lesson against EC, for example.

This isn't a hate post, I still greatly enjoy the series and PFP is an alright character, buuut I dunno, he's no EC.

[Fan OC] Guy Reyes “El intocable”

My Oc Guy Reyes.
Guy is a wandering martial artist, with a base in an ancient Incan warrior martial art passed down through his family for generations called “Awqaqpa ruraynin.”
Although** this **style is his birthright, after a traumatic family incident, he chose to leave it, and his family behind, and follow his own way, in search of developing his own style, one dedicated to martial arts defense mastery. He has called this style “The way of the floating leaf.” And art dedicated to being untouchable.

Catalan CC is on the way, I swear.

That Catalan translation I was talking about time ago, it exists. I'll post R1 when it's completely done on mangadex. I'm about halfway through R1. Slow, but steady, I will eventually translate every chapter for all the Catalan speaking readers, even if I'm the only one, or even if no one asked for it.

Most wanted hypothetical spin-offs

Firecracker, Natural Athlete and Iron Turtle slice-of-life / Firecracker training and improving

"The Four Horsemen of Florida Ice Cream Trucking"

The 3 hitmen doing hitman shenanigans

Tempest fighting through several japanese underground organisations

Yeti Gaiden

El Cucaracho's continuous search for peace

Violence Incarnate's search for "true strength"

Sonic-Boom and The Arm Thief travelling together

u/ColdStaff6874 — 3 days ago

How would a fight between Violence Incarnate and Ice Cream Truck play out?

I know VI wins of course. But how would it play out? How would ICT do against base VI? And would he force VI to use Elixir?

Firecracker in an anime style

Had a opposite black and white variant but it didn't look very good so replaced it with the clean plate for you guys to see

Overall, which Holding was the best?

Title

For you, which one of the four holdings stands out as the best one of Convict Colosseum

Tbh, each of them has their arguments

1st one is the first and we see how the winners interact with each others

2nd one feels like now we're into the real stuff

3rd one might be the least good imo but we have serious FM saying that him, Pete, EC and VI could escape together

And the last one is full of tension and I love it

Personally, I would do 2>4>1>3 but about about you guys?

First and last panel of every convict (part 1 of 2)

A few of them aren't the last panel of them, but the last of which their face is visible

Non-convict Tier List

Tier list of everyone with some significance (or aura) from the side stories or the "NPCs" from the main story.

I've included one of the 32 convicts in each tier to give some clarification as to what power level I think everyone is around.

Mostly based on vibes and the scarce knowledge we have.

Also, this list is only based on h2h, which is why someone like Roald isn't included.

From S+ to E:

S+

- "Mr. Pre-Initiative" (evaded the arguable best shooter in the verse, 6 times, gives off crazy-strong vibes. Has to be top tier)

S

- Alien abductee (I think the implication is that he has some insane body-altering abilites, and did win a Colosseum. Mostly based on vibe though)

- Houdini (I think he could magic bs his way out of most things)

A

- Violence Incarnate's father (master of Tam Qui Khi-Kong, a physical powerhouse)

- Pecs (Is absolutely massive. If he truly is a master of Aikido he should at least be here)

- "Bigfoot" (former champion. Stated to have claimed his freedom the easiest in nearly a hundred years of Colosseums, which is why I have him above the other implied brute force guys)

B

- Don Jefe (former champion, physical powerhouse)

- "The Bear" (great conditioning, stated to be equal to Don Jefe by the man himself)

C

- "The Brimstone Bomber (champion of Arizona's underground fight scene. I think it's fair to place him here)

- Senpai at Scorching Tempest's dojo (seems quite skilled and confident, and if he is even half as strong as Scorching Tempest he is more than deserving of being here)

D

- Dojo master (one of the sickest designs snd auras. Jobbed in seconds to pre-prison Monkey See though)

- Jack Channie (legendary stuntman, kicked the shit out of Danger during their scenes together)

- Karmic Blade's father (assumed master of Kalaripayattu)

- T-Venom (prisoner the same place as Scorching Tempest. His right-hand man made it to the semi-finals of a recent Colosseum)

E

- Asshole dad (the dad who tasted Scorching Tempest's ace. Absolute fodder)

First and last panel of every convict (part 2 of 2)

My problem with Karmic Blade and everything he's involved in

Yeah, this is going to be me venting for a bit

You might have heard me saying this ultiple times: I hate KB

I legit think he's the worst character of Convict Colosseum... And it's sad because I liked him at first

But why he went from a guy I decently like to the dude I despise the most in CC?

The reason is simple: his portrayal

Bro started first as aura farming in his big ahh coat and felt menacing (unlike Rawdog btw) but then, it became quickly clear that KB is the type of dude to lose his cool when things aren't going according to keikaku

What's more surprising is that after my very first read of the fight, I thought that this match was great, but after rereading it more slowly coz I wanted to move on to R2 ASAP (and I still have PTSD from R1), it's in my lower half of the R1 matches (maybe top 5 worst R1 fights but I'll have to think about it)

I mean, first KB only do the same pattern of attack against Rawdog and he only locks in in the last third of the match, which feels like around 66% of the match could be erased. I made my peace with KB sneaking in so much weapons (although the daggers still feels dumb to me but whatever) and yet, there's one weapon that still bugs me: the gun

Seriously, if KB won when he stabbed Rawdog's abdomen, it would have been a clean ending and showed that KB is an actual threat. The gun is just overkill and definitely established him for me as a jerk with 0 faith in what he can do (and Rawdog survivng this is bs but that's another subject)

Then in the first holding, when I saw him panicking, I was like "you ain't build for this shit bro..." seeing how AT bullied him and threatened him to break him arm

And we move on to VI vs KB which is hands down the worst R2 fight for me (yeah it's not NE vs GiaB and I even enjoyed it more than Abyss vs Tomahawk and probably Pete vs Firecracker, that's my little hot take, thank you)

To sum up my thoughts on this: not a fun match at all, obvious winner, not a satisfying ending, too much one-sided and the end with the hitman really pissed me off

And even after his fights, I disliked everything KB did. Bro just tried too hard to either look cool, being edgy or aura-farming, only to get rekt shortly after. At first, it's funny but on the long term, it's tiring (even vs Rawdog it felt tiring already). It almost feels like Pinakanaka needed to have another character beside PO to be that one running gag to the point you'd wonder what he's doing here to begin with

So yeah, that's my opinion on KB

Please, don't say I have shitty tastes, it's just my thoughts on him, nothing more. If you like him, that's fine
