A bit ago I made a post about how awesome it is Convict Colosseum is rated so highly on Mangadex and in the time since then it as risen higher and has become the highest rated work with the self published tag on mangadex
not only that it has also risen above stuff like Mob Psycho 100, the One Punch Man webcomic and manga, and other massive works
and I just got to say again, it is incredible how high it is, and I believe it deserves every bit of it

Scourge's name and spree were most likely based on Clifford Olson, or "The Beast of British Columbia". Besides the name being incredibly similar, Clifford also had around the same number of victims (11). Clifford also strangled a lot of his victims (Even using a belt). However, I think Scourge's behavior, fighting style, eye obsession, and backstory were partly based on Billy Lenz from the 2006 remake of Black Christmas. Scourge's behavior mirrors Billy's, with them being quiet, brutal serial killers. Black Christmas also has a weird obsession with eyes, with Billy & Agnus often gouging them out and eyes being shown throughout the movie. Also, the backstory to Billy is rather similar to Scourge's, with a vile mother being the cause of all their problems. I'm not joking; they look shockingly similar. As for Scourge's brutal fighting style, Billy is insanely brutal with his killings, even cooking cookies out of his mother's flesh and eating them. Though I might be stretching it by comparing Scourge to Billy, I think it's fairly solid to say that at least his name and killing spree were based on Clifford Olson. If you don't think so, that's okay; I just wanted to share what I think Scourge is based on. (Also, I'm not trying to make light of Clifford's killings; I just thought they mirrored Scourge a lot)

I been having some fun coming up with these myself so I wanted to see who else here have some they like to show. Doesn't have to be super detailed, just a general idea or even just the name is fine!
Here's a stupid game I invented to kill time while waiting desperately for more character profiles or Abyss vs Inaba or anything to happen. Essentially, a way to randomly generate matchups between convicts:
*First, select everyone's places on the bracket randomly. I just used one of those "put names on a wheel and spin it" websites for this.
*To determine the winner of a fight between each convict, roll a d6 and add their Power Level to it, rerolling if its a tie. The convict with the highest score generated this way wins, so if the dice is on their side, they have a chance of beating a stronger opponent in an upset.
*If a Convict has a power level that's 6 points higher than their opponent, there is no chance for them to lose even if they roll a 1 and their opponent rolls a 6. Don't bother rolling a dice, the superior convict just no-diffs his opponent.
*Proceed with matching up every Convict on the bracket until you get to the end and crown a winner of the tournament.

*Florida Man and Karmic Blade have special power levels to reflect how they change throughout the tournament. Florida Man has a Power Level of 2 in the first round, 8 in rounds 2-3, and 9 in rounds 4-5. Karmic Blade has a Power Level of 9 in the first round and 5 in all rounds after that.

If different convicts won their match or the brackets were set up differently what would you have liked to see?
What fights would you be most interested in seeing and how you think the characters would interact?
I am always up for women getting the same chance to be bat shit insane fighters beating the crap out of each other and there is sadly not many stuff like that out there (like star strike it rich from kengan's author). What stuff would you see on it? I am always partial to giant muscled women.
I am not really too into the manga, mostly in passing, so I am not too sure.
