My journey came to an end, but now the eternal optimization begins

Hey everyone,
A while ago I posted here asking for advice and hunting for the right case for this project [link]. After a lot of searching, I finally landed on the Cooler Master MasterFrame 400, and the build is officially done.

Well... as done as a PC build ever gets.
There are voices in my head....

Can I fit 2 140s in the front?
How can I get rid of that ugly gpu bracket and make use of the ASUS - Noctua?
Would it be possible to make a vertical mount build?
And much more - it never really stops.

Let me know what you think of how it turned out! If anyone else here is running a MasterFrame setup, l'd love to exchange thoughts, mod and build ideas etc.

What is the name of this port

This is a port on a Cooler Master Addressable RGB & PWM Hub
It’s labeled as mb pwm and looks similar like a 4 pin pwm port but it has a different shape.

Also if anyone has a link to buying one that would be appreciated.

My pc suddenly shuts down and the fans go crazy

I just moved to a new home and my desktop PC is behaving weirdly. It works normally but it can happen, sometimes early after turning it on, but sometimes later, that its fans start going crazy and the screen turns black and there is no signal from the PC, but the PC is still running, with its lights on and the fans giving their best. I am forced to turn it off by maintaining the ON/OFF button. So far the longest run without this issue has been of 30 minutes.
I checked that everything is properly connected inside the PC tower, and I had no issues playing for hours before moving.

I've read that it might be an issue related to the electricity power of the new house, but we have another computer in the same room and it has no issues. The power supply of the PC is Cooler Master MWE 230V 600W. I also tried both plugging it directly into the wall and into a power strip.

Thank you so much!!

CPU Cooler Flashing Red Lights Suddenly This Week

This week (every day) my pc (CPU Cooler) suddenly started flashing red lights after playing for about an hour. It doesn’t matter what game it is. It happened playing a low end game like beta Minecraft and a higher end game like RDR2. Restarting the PC doesn’t help.

I think it’s a sign of overheating but my cpu temp is normal/low.

Note: I have absolutely no PC knowledge so please be clear if you have a solution or need something else.

CPU (cooler):
- ryzen 7 5800x
- h100I elite capellix xt

Cooler master hyper 212 pro temps?

Hi guys i recently built my first gaming pc. For context i have a ryzen 5 5500. The stock cooler that came with the cpu ran a little hot(95 celsius on cinebench 2026 multi thread) but during gaming that doesn’t rlly stress the cpu it was about 65 celsius. Anyways i wanted to get a better cooler so i bought the hyper 212 pro but for some reason the thermals on this one are worse. On idle at desktop im somewhere around 45-55 celsius, during cinebench it got to 92 but my score was almost 300 points lower than with the stock cooler. I tried playing minecraft with shaders which should be a breeze but i was not only getting much worse fps (10-20% decrease) but the cpu was reaching almost 80 degrees. For a game that only uses a single core mainly thats kinda bad. More importantly the stock cooler never reached that temperature playing the same game. I made sure to make the fan blow cool air into the heatsink, and i took the plastic cover off the contact pipes. Does anyone here use the same cooler and if so what temperatures do you get on your cpu?

Swapping Ram Heatsink

I currently have a pair of black non-rgb Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32 GB ram sticks. I want to swap the heatsinks for an after market set that I can confirm are compatible (Bykski DDR5 B-MRC-X). I have a couple reasons for this but don't need to get into exactly why right now. I know it voids the warranty but I'd still like to do it.

The question I have is how hard is this really? I plan on just soaking these in 99% IP alcohol for 10 hours, removing the sinks and adhesive by hand, drying for a day with a fan and then installing the new heatsinks. From what I've seen if you soak for long enough everything just falls right off the ram sticks and there's very little risk to harming the exposed ram sticks.

Am I missing something or is it really that simple?

Elite 240 AIO odd noises

I installed a new elite 240 AIO and I’m getting an odd noise from the pump. It doesn’t happen on a cold boot, typically starts after my computer has been up for ~3 hours. I tried stressing the cpu to see if it would “work itself out” it didn’t. I dropped the pump speed down to 50% for a minute or 2 and it was almost silent again. Turned it back up to 100% and it’s still noisy, but not quite as bad. It’s been installed for ~24 hours at this point. It’s on a ryzen 7 5800x3d. Any help would be appreciated.

RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition + Cooler Master MWE Gold V3 750

Hey guys, I'm a complete beginner when it comes to PC building. I just bought a used RTX 3060 Ti Founders Edition and ordered the Cooler Master MWE Gold V3 750W power supply.

I'm totally lost on the cables. Will the cables included in the box just work with this GPU, or do I need to buy some kind of adapter? If I need an adapter, which one should I look for?

Thanks for any help in advance

Please help identify these fans

I have the cooler Master Elite 681 case. It comes with the fans pictured. I want a few more that match but I can seem to find out what these are. Cooler Master doesn't have anything they sell separately that matches these.

Coolermaster a120/a140 fc fan reviews and info?

Hi, ive noticed the a120 and a140fc fans are now for sale in a few places including coolermasters official store, however i cant find any english reviews for them, and the few non english ones i can find dont go into alot of detail or compare them with other fans. Also one thing im confused about, the fc variants come with a controller. Does this mean i wont be able to control the full rpm automatically through pwm on my pc? Do i have to use the controller? I dont really want a controller i just want the higher rpm of the fc version
