If anyone knows how are they called and if anyone sells a spare one??
This is from my haf x case that I absolutely love :)

Ok I need an advice .
I have a Lenovo thinkstation p510 with proprietary PSU.
Official guide says the power limit for one graphics card is 300 watr with the 850watt PSU.
It has 2 cables one with 8 pin one with 6pin that j can of course apply adapter's too. The stock 8 pin is basically a 6 pin with built in adapter that duplicates a few wires to make it 8 pin. So realistically stock 850 watt gives 2x6pin. But official specs say you can have 300watf plus 75 watt or 225 watt plus 150 watt or 2x180 watt GPUs.
So for one gpi it is 300w is total including 75 w PCI.
I am buying a Radeon 7900 xtx that is rated for 350watf and can only be down powered to 10 percent making it about 320 watt.
PSU has some specs on it saying there are 8 12 volt lanes each can handle 18A but no more than 850 w total
Am I over worrying and 320 watt should work ??
Anyone tried to use high power graphics card in Lenovo thinkstation p510?
Update - main use case would be local LLM like lm studio or llama cpp
I am following this guide but ...
All I get is this when trying to test..
{
"error": {
"code": "BadRequest",
"message": "Missing required query parameter: api-version"
}
}
Has anyone had a similar problem? I don't think is is in the configuration as the ?api-version has to be added to each request instead.
Hi, I been looking into the endpoints on my machines via tailscale console
example:
here is my question, 192.168.8 is my internal network,
144.48.xx is my provider ip
what are the 172.xxx addresses?
So I been playing around with aperture quite a lot and I like it.
What is unclear is the privacy..
I.e. ai.mytenant.ts.net - is it a dedicated linux machine in my network that taiilscale created for me?
or is it a frontend of a big giant server farm that theoretically is shared with someone else?
Has anyone tried this one yet? Any feedback ?
Ok, I need an advice.
So I have a Thinkstation P510 with xeon 2680 and 96 gb of ram (I know, not that much!).
I have NVIDIA P4000 8g in there and I plan to move my 3060 12 gb there as well (this machine can take 2 graphics card, but only pcie3x16).
What is the best way to run local LLM on setup like that? What is the best way to utilize both graphics cards?
Thank you!

Hi All, so I have a jellyfin and tailscale so I can watch videos anywhere on the go.
My problem is I want to listen to some tv shows in the car, but not see the video (that is illegal in Australia).
So I want it to be kinda like spotify, so it works in background....
I tried native client integrated player is supposed to support that but half of my shows are not working with the integrated client
I get some weird error like "mediacodec.videorenderer error , index=0..."
Has anyone made the integrated player work?
Hi all.
I have a flint2 with the latest official openwert 24 firmware.
I have installed etherwake and luci-app-wol
I have a windows computer I want to wake up remotely.
however, not matter what setting I do in the luci app or command line, the packet is not coming.
Wake on lan works great from any other windows computer.
Wake on lan is not working either from my gl comet pro .
It looks like it work, but it does not actualy send the packet :(
here are my attempts from command line .
root@Flint2:~# etherwake -i br-lan "MYMAC"

So I have a Surface Book 2 1832 i7-8650U model with 1050 2gb graphics card. I am running Windows 10 now.
One of the most important things for me is battery life in a battery saver mode where I use edge for web browsing (music jams etc).
However soon I would also need to have it running for a day ish on a conference.
Should I upgrade to Windows 11?
Anyone with a similar computer, how was the battery life since switching to Win11? Better or worse?
thank you!
Ok, so what happened.
I decided to explore the credit card options.
I have opened the CBA portal and opened a wizard or whatever and started looking what they ask for.
I have NOT applied or pressed "send" or anything like that , I have not submitted the application.
Yet they sent the credit enquiry to equifax.
Both CBA or equifax refused to rectify the situation :(
What are my options to remove this from my credit history?
https://tailscale.com/docs/reference/dns-in-tailscale#global-nameservers
So i would like to some of my computers to use nextdns, but some are pain to setup and only use windows 10.
i am not super keen to install nextdns client as i am not sure how it will work together with tailscale
ideally what should be happening is if i could select either in the client preferences or via acl/tags ,which computer i want to use the dns override.
