Piercing spots

Hi

I was just wondering if there’s any cheap af piercing spots in Copenhagen! I’m hoping cheaper than in the US where it’s almost 100$ everytime I go

Thanks!!!

I spent 4 days walking Copenhagen. Visiting from Vancouver, Canada - locals, what did I miss?

I'm from Vancouver and earlier this month I visited Copenhagen for the first time. I was there for 4 days before heading to Oslo and decided to walk everywhere instead of taking transit (although I took transit during the last day, my legs couldn't handle it anymore...).

My favourite spots were definitely Tivoli Gardens and the Rosenborg Castle!

I tracked almost everything on my Apple Watch and ended up with this map. I wasn't expecting to see so much in a short amount of time. I'm sure I missed a couple of spots, and forgot to unpause my workout after stopping to get food a couple of times...

The city is beautiful and the waterfront reminds me a lot of Vancouver!

So locals - what did I miss? I already want to come back.

Edit: I know I missed a lot of spots, next time I will plan better... I was 3 weeks into an European trip, And for those that DMd me asking how I created this map, I used an app called MoveMap

Efterladte cykler overalt

For anyone wondering how earthquakes are possible here in the copenhagen area when it isn't on a tectonic plate border

Think of the Earth's crust like a long wooden ruler.

If you stand on both ends of a wooden ruler and push hard toward the middle, you are applying force at the edges. But the ruler doesn't break under your hands, it snaps right in the middle where the wood is naturally a little weaker.

That’s exactly what just happened. The borders of our tectonic plate (thousands of kilometers away in Iceland and the Mediterranean) are constantly pushing and squeezing. That pressure traveled quietly through the solid rock until it hit an ancient, deeply buried "crack" right under Denmark, a place called the Sorgenfrei-Tornquist Zone and caused it to instantly snap. So the way this earthquake occured isn't the same as we see in places like Turkey or California, which is a result of the plates shifting and smashing into each other.

A tiny bit of rare planetary history right under our feet today. This earthquake was only a 4.2 on the ricter scale and it still felt terrifying even if it was only for a second, I cannot imagine how much more terrifying it would be in areas with frequent earthquakes.

Anybody knows what happened at Fisketorvet yesterday evening?

I was at Fisketorvet yesterday between 19:06 and 19:19. Went in and out from the revolving doors at the garage, the entrance coming from the metro side. Going in, everything was normal. Coming out, there was a bunch of blood on the floor in front of the revolving door and a trail of blood leading all the way to the intersection next to the metro. Followed the trail and was about to call 112 until I saw two security guards coming out the mall. Pointed to them the furthest sign of blood I could find and then walked away. Bunch of police cars and MCs were scouting the area as I was leaving.

Hope someone's toe was cut at the revolving door and not a stabbing incident. Nothing on the news. Anybody knows what happened?

Can Danes afford the version of Denmark sold online?

Right now, my social media seems to be flooded with posts romanticizing the Copenhagen lifestyle. Most of these are by tourists or local influencers, who make it seem like it's common to go to the sauna, wear good quality clothes, get coffee out, etc. I calculated the cost of what it would be like to live like this for a month, and it isn't affordable given annual salaries. I broke down the costs here on just how expensive and unattainable this lifestyle is but would love to hear other people's thoughts: https://open.substack.com/pub/wildethought/p/the-cost-of-a-scandinavian-summer?r=73n5kl&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
