So I have been a crossdresser since I was 12 and haven't been with friends who knows my identity or someone who genuinely talks to me knowing about me as a cd .

I would love to talk and make some friends. Good chat , ranting any random shit we would like to talk about i would love to be treated like the crossdresser I m .

I’m curious about something and would genuinely like to hear from people with experience or interested.

Are there actually Sri Lankan women who are interested in men who crossdress, or who are comfortable with their boyfriend/husband/ guy friend crossdressing?

I’ve noticed something that makes me wonder: some crossdressing guys already have girl friends who are supportive and help them with clothes, makeup, styling, dressing up together etc. But sometimes it seems like the guy is looking for another girl to join them, tells even to the girl to find another girl, so the CD and his girl friend can dress up and spend time with another woman who is also interested.

It sounds like a “three girls hanging out/party” dynamic - the crossdressing guy presenting as a girl together with his girl friend and another girl, dressing up, chatting, drinking, watching movies, having parties, etc.

Is this actually a thing in Sri Lanka, or am I just seeing a very small niche online?

For women who are into this, what made you comfortable with it? And for crossdressers who already have supportive girl friend, do you actually look for other women to join this kind of social circle? Have you really already created such circle? If so how is it going?

Would be interested in hearing honest ideas, experiences without any judgements.

Background: I have for many many years compartmentalized my feelings regarding gender, and labeled it all a fetish or kink of some sort. I found the autogynephilia theory early, and felt it matched me good. And felt it was all just linked to my sexuality, and that my desire to have a female body was mostly sexual.

But this is some time ago, I now think differently. And in order to put these thoughts to rest, I was wondering if someone who had gone from thinking they had a fetish, and then later realised they were actually a transgender woman and gone on to successfully transition, could say a fey words about what made them finally realise that they were actually transgender?

I don't know why I like cross-dressing, but I do. I don't know why I like women's clothing, but I do. I know that it's very taboo, and maybe that is why I am attracted to it. I don't know for sure, but I’ve been thinking back on how it all started.
I remember my first contact with women's underwear was when I was about nine or ten years old. We lived in an apartment complex that was largely inhabited by college students, and my mother and I were dumpster divers trying to find anything we could use. I found a pair of bikini bottoms that, to me, looked like Speedo swimwear. I vaguely remember being laughed at and told that they were actually women's underwear.
Later on, during some outdoor activities, it was suggested that certain thin layers like hosiery could be used for insulation to keep warm. It was a practical recommendation for the cold, but it marked another step in my comfort with different types of clothing.
There has also been a long-standing fascination with feminine aesthetics and garments. Looking back, even the immature behavior seen in school around these items reflected an underlying interest in how they felt and looked. Over time, that fascination centered specifically on feminine silhouettes and features.
In about 2019, the decision was made to order a first set of forms to better understand that silhouette. Starting with smaller sizes, the progression eventually led to a preference for a much larger G-cup size. While earlier sets eventually wore out, the current set provides the specific look that feels right for my frame.
Since then, a breastplate was added to the collection. It is comfortable to wear and has the added benefit of providing a smooth look without extra maintenance. It isn't something for every day, but it’s a part of the routine that feels right.
To be clear, the goal isn't to live life as a woman, but rather to enjoy the experience of dressing in this way. Does that journey or perspective make sense to others here?
