Hey guys need few details and have some doubts to clear . Anyone with experience in rebuilding Daytonas. Please help

I’ve wanted a Daytona for as long as I can remember and I finally have enough money to be able to spend. But everyone wants 8-12k for 2006 bikes with 20,000 miles on them. I feel like I’m losing my mind trying to find one at a good price
