Why do deer keep birthing and leaving their fawns in my yard year after year? They sure are cute little things but its like I'm running a nursery over here.

found a baby!!!

I found this baby just a few feet from the trail during my walk today :) I’m so glad I got to see a baby “hiding” for the first time. I usually only ever see them when they’re a little older and with their moms. I know mama should be nearby, so I just took a couple photos (from a distance, these are zoomed in) and moved on without bothering him!

Sick or injured deer

Anyone knows what’s wrong with this deer? It was in my backyard yesterday. I noticed this issue with its hind leg and it looked like it couldn’t put much weight on it.
