Where’s the good music at?

Went to First Friday at Tracks last night. The music felt so outdated. A few good songs came on but like why are we still playing Pitbull? Is there a queer venue in the area that plays more modern music? Does Tracks usually have better DJ’s on other nights of the month?

Trans friendly primary docs in cap hill area?

Currently looking to finally get a primary care doc and was wondering if anyone had recs for people trans friendly/knowledgeable? Can't drive so they need to be in the cap hill area.

Also would really like a primary doc who's comfortable taking over my T prescription from planned parenthood.

Queer Country Cabaret Show at Denver Fringe with EmmyJean Jenkins - offering free tix for Pride Month!

Hi All!

EmmyJean Jenkins here! I wanted to invite you all to my queer country cabaret show at Denver Fringe, June 5 & 7. It is very queer, very absurd, and a brutal bludgeoning of the patriarchy.

Here's a link to the show: https://denverfringe.org/shows/detective-convention/

And if you use the discount code "DETECTIVE" you can get tix for free on me in honor of Pride Month!

Cheers, Queers!

EmmyJean Jenkins and her ragtag country band present the new, her original queer country cabaret “DETECTIVE CONVENTION,” a true story of murder, intrigue, romance and comedy. The piece is a little bit classical and a lot bit country-pop, and features folk musicians from across Colorado’s Front Range. Expect a gentle* needling of the patriarchy. Featuring Trace Hybertson (fiddle), Ilan Blanck (guitar), Isele Phoenix Harper (keys), and Nicole Patrick (drums). Run time 45 minutes.

“The melody is infectious, the narrative almost anthemic, which makes you want to stand up and punch the air, regardless of whether you are queer or straight. Rarely does one come across a song this powerful, sung with such pride... its message and the quality of the delivery deserve the widest audience.” - Americana UK

*The needling is, in fact, not so gentle

Rocky Mountain Rainbeaus - PRIDE Open House at Charlie's - June 6th 5pm-7pm

The Rocky Mountain Rainbeaus are Denver's only LGBTQ+ Square Dance club. The Rainbeaus got our start at Charlie's over 40 years ago. The club is diverse and welcoming to everyone. Square Dancing is a fun way to get exercise and meet some new people. If you are a little uncoordinated (like me) - you've got a caller telling you what moves to do. :)

We are having an open house at Charlie's (900 E Colfax) on June 6th from 5pm-7pm. It's free to come and learn some dance moves. Meet our club members and have some snacks. It's a great way to kick off PRIDE month!!

Seeking Queer Electrician

Hi all!

We are located in Broomfield and recently had a horrific experience with a local Electrical company. It cemented the fact that my wife and I would prefer to seek out honest, hardworking Tradespeople from our local LGBTQ+ Community! Is there anyone out there that is a Queer electrician or has one that they have worked with? While we're at it...any plumbers, HVAC techs, woodworkers, etc.? We appreciate any guidance here!

Thank you all and happy almost Pride Month!!
