I did not think I would be so Hogue'd. I love'm now.
Have you been Hogue'd?
Out of the box, its very impressive for its price point!
just want some advice on my next steps into what i should do refarding my 22. so it is my first rifle and my first day with it has been constant extraction issues, almost every 3-2 rounds would result in a faliure to extract. this would go on for the whole 275 rounds inside the remington cyclones i used, one round as showed in the photo ( its not a great photo) basically blew up inside the gun sending shrapnel all over the wall and my hand. the range officer said that the rifle appeard okay and reccommened i switched too cci. i fired 30 rounds and same problem occurred so i called it a day. just looking for any advice becouse there is frame damage and ive heard that the problem comes from the dual extractors it has. any advice will help thank you‼️
I just want to know if anyone has been through the same. Derya’s customer service has been extremely frustrating. I sent my firearm in for service and was told it would take 14 days. It’s now been a full month, and I’ve sent multiple emails trying to get an update and I haven’t gotten a single response.
At this point, it feels like I have to call just to get any information. And when I finally do, I’m basically told, “We only have one gunsmith and we have a lot of firearms being repaired.”
I completely understand that they can be busy and that repairs take time. But if you know you’re backed up, communicate with your customers. If you tell someone 14 days, then a month goes by, the least you can do is respond to emails and give them an honest update.
I’m not even asking for special treatment. I just want basic customer service and communication about a firearm that has been sitting with you for a month. Waiting is one thing. Being completely ignored is another.
Derya really needs to improve its customer service and communication.
Just got one of these Derya DY9’s because I thought for the price and the compatibility to Glock is incredible, but I’m having a hard time trying to figure out holster options that are comfortable. I bought a g19 holster from “We the People” and it’s ok but I feel there could be better. I live in WA and chose an IWB option but the holster was I guess a couple of millimeters to thin to accommodate to my gun. I’m trying to figure out if any of you folks have a trigger upgrade that I could start looking into as well. I love this beauty and got more than a 1000 rounds (115g or 124g brass case only) in her without any malfunctions so far. I’ve had issues with these aftermarket 10 rnd PMAG’s not ejecting that well and I know that many folks complain about little things but I don’t really mind it and I doesn’t take away from how cool the gun is. Also love the community on here since it’s pretty positive and just wanted to show you guys my take on this DY9. 👍 I named her Donna lol
I’m very anti Glock guy but I’ve came upon the Dy9 island which piqued my interest.
Does anyone know if g19 tenicor holster would fit it? I don’t mind having to heat it a bit if needed; but if no good holsters fit this gun I may pass on it
First time gun owner and was looking for a good handgun (had a close call with my life), had stumbled across the DY9Z which will be my first purchase. Wanted to know if the DY9Z is good for left handed folk like me?
I wanted to find out if the Extar mags, which are a polymer 18rd mag, would fit and function in the DY9...If you are not familiar with Extar they manufacture the EP9 and EP45. The packaging indicates it is compatible with all full size 9mm DS G handguns. Well since the DY9 is a in this class I decided to give this a try. Well, I'm here to tell you they work just fine. NO issues with feeding, the lock back, they load and drop out with easy. They do work on both the non magwell Dy9 as well as the DY9 with a Magwell. They do protrude but considering 3 more rds it maybe an option. I''m posting pictures of the DY9's with the Extar 9mm mag. Wow!!!
Hey, everybody, update from the Factory here. First we want to say thank you to everybody. We still got a lot to improve on here, but orders have been great and we’ve been growing at a rapid rate. I know some of the customer service is behind and we acknowledge that, but we’re always trying to improve and just looking to make it as efficient as possible. Remember, you can always call during business hours, we answer.
First for all the California people in the DY9Z, we have a video to actually show the pistol but we’ve been waiting for approval. Passed the testing center, however, it’s been at the DOJ for over two weeks. I think they will approve it, but they haven’t approved any pistols since July 2 so who knows what’s going on.
I attached the video of the pistol kit. I know some people have asked about that we should get more coming in. We’re gonna put it on the website next week and a small number and have it at a discounted price to start so please look out for that if you’ve been looking for it as you can get a good price as the price will go up. It’s fully aluminum so machined. It’s a little bit heavier, but definitely more durable.
Other than that, we’re in production of the Max that’s been taken up a lot of time. We have another minimum five product, launches, one of them being very high volume by the end of the year. Also, something special coming out that people probably don’t know. Don’t like to say too much but stay tuned.
Also being said we’re looking for new places in Jacksonville to purchase we’ve already grown out of our space and the landlord as a friend and been really nice about it. We plan on staying in Jacksonville.
Sorry if any grammar errors using voice to text as it’s easier just to give updates from my mind. If any questions shoot them over try to answer them.
Once again, thank you
Dustin

Wifey just bought this, and I'm trying g to outfit her with a few spare mags for range fun !!
Relatively new to gun ownership but I’ve purchased more than half a dozen in three months.
My latest was a TM22 Standard from Fleet Farm this weekend on sale. No photos as it’s just a standard rifle in black.
I do have a few questions.
As far as the 10, 15, and 25 round mags. Are there issues with any of them? I want to buy extras and I would prefer to avoid problematic ones. I know sometimes with other brands, a 5 or 10 round might work better than a 15 round for instance. Also, I just need to watch out and make sure whatever I get has the notch in it, correct?
Also, the stock kit for cheek riser…is that available anywhere besides Derya’s own website?
Any recommendations for a cheap scope and bipod? Preferably under $150 for both items. I’d like to keep this a budget “build”.
I don’t suppose there is any aftermarket support is there? Upgrades for barrel or charging handle or just about anything else? I know it’s not a 10/22 and I’m not expecting much, but my searches didn’t come up with much of anything. A couple items from Canada that appear to not be available any longer.
Lastly, a non-TM22 Standard question. How is the Melik? I didn’t know about that gun until yesterday and I watched a few videos. Any issues with them from owners here? I’d like to get a DA/SA and that fits my price point as well as the overall type of gun I want. I can’t justify a Beretta. Everything I own is relatively cheap considering.
Thanks for any help.
Just saw an ad from Turner's showing DY9 is available again after earlier ban. Anyone know if this is old stock or new CA version?
First post here and new to sub.. have tons of various carry options currently, both compact, full size, and a micro. But love the look and price of the Island, any concerns to keep in mind??

Added the RMR direct mount slide and a Zulisy green dot
I'm curious if anyone uses these regularly? At first I was not really for these because I felt why would I want to use them. My reasoning was, they are heavy, it takes long to load them, I will fast fire and ammo is expensive, the mag stick is expensive, and the target will be blasted to pieces in a short period. Then a good friend of mine says hey I got something for ya....and gives me 4 glock mag sticks. Ok, I have changed my mind, why? I've been to the range and now I love them....no i'm not mag dumping, but after using them, I found that the extra weight is really helping me with hand strength which helped with gun control when using the standard 15 rd mags. Now I have 5. I hope everyone has a good Friend, that sees, what you think you did not need.
I know the color is not exactly perfect, but the purple maglula I just got will be part of the Black Cherry color theme. All that is left is the factory exclusive BC DY9 Frame. I may look for the TM22 in BC but that would be pushing it.
