I paid 699 for this piece of cr”p !! I have never in my life owned anything that smells so worse. I bought it out of curiosity and one comment i saw about how this is best one out of all; but it legit smells like fruits in a vomit ;
Or another description could be : i enter a metro with mixed up scents of faint fragrances and lots of sweat
Or : when you enter a smelly public washroom with a fragrance of air freshener mixed up in the air.
Just ewwww…. It only gets worse with the drydown
I really wish we had more hair fragrance products available in India. Please drop suggestions of hair perfumes/mists you've tried or the ones you have in your collection. Been in search of one for a long time. The hair and body mists sold by most brands here do nothing to my hair other than make it more frizzy 🫠

Got this set as I like the brand's makeup and their marketing was quite good.
These are first impressions but my first impressions about fragrances are pretty spot on, so hope this helps.
Bottles are nothing to write home about. Cap plastic seems cheap. Atomiser on one of the bottles seems wonky. Got the charm for free and it's definitely worth only being a freebie.
Last night in Thailand - I was most excited about the Mango Sticky Rice scent, but it was a let down. It has no scent of rice not even the comforting scent of pandan has been captured. It's more of a fresh mango scent with a bit creamy/slightly coconutty dry down but naming it as a mango sticky rice scent is misleading. It starts with a green, minty note and even after a couple of minutes it remains a bit green and gets a bit soapy in the middle. And in the dry down it just remains a sweet slightly mango-y scent. It still feels a bit soapy but slightly creamy. But a let down as I was expecting a nutty, starchy scent that's trending these days. The marketing guys just naming things for the sake of it makes me mistrust fragrance brands these days and that's exactly what's happened here. On its own the fragrance isn't too bad but not named well so a letdown. Still it's say a 6.5/10 only for me
My Boyfriend's Hoodie - it's quite true to the name and smells like the remains of a men's perfume. I don't like these notes so will hardly use it. 5/10
Dessert in hotel room - This was still better because I had zero expectations and was thinking this one will be on lines of "Loyal to You" (BBW) or Victoria (Lattafa), but this was quite reminiscent of a true lemon tart with lemon curd. Those are not my favourite desserts to be honest but at least it was photorealistic. Dry down isn't bad either on skin, it's lemony vanilla. I think this is the only one worth buying if they come out with individual bottles and priced correctly. 7/10
Worst fragrance is Destination Wedding - OMG I have never hated a white floral this bad. Even local attars smell better. I have liked a lot of white florals recently so thought this could not be that bad but one spray on my arm and I was dizzy. It's so bad and cheap and smells almost rancid/bitter? Goodness.... 0/10
Overall it's 5/10 for me. Won't repurchase anything if they come up with full size.
Just first impressions so not tested for longevity.
Hi everyone! I am trying to find my signature fragrance and would love your recommendations.
I love: grapefruit, bergamot, white musk, jasmine, rajnigandha/nishagandhi, rose and fresh, clean scents. Light citrus is great and a touch of aquatic is okay.
Favorites so far: Lust by Alternate Scents and Miniso Serene Breeze. I also like Ajmal Raindrops, but since it has fairly soft projection, I am not sure if I love the fragrance itself or just find it pleasant.
I don't enjoy: powdery, vanilla, gourmand, coconut, chocolate, tobacco, leather, strawberry or black currant.
Based on this, what are the top 10 perfumes you would recommend I try next? Any budget or brand is welcome!
So Plums B2G2 sale is about to go live in 11 hours, and I want to add some new scents to my collection. If you have used any of these 5 EDPs, please share your thoughts/reviews!!
I already own Hawaiian Rumba, Tripping Mimosas, and all 3 vanillas, and honestly, they work really well for me.
Edit: Ordered 15mls of both Pistachio and Moonkissed!
Hi everyone!
I’m looking to expand my fragrance collection and would love some recommendations.
What are your most complimented perfumes that:
Last a long time (6–8+ hours preferred)
Work well as daytime/everyday scents
Are feminine and versatile
Consistently get you compliments from both men and women
I’m open to any price range since I can always look for decants or partial bottles.
I’d also love to know:
How long it lasts on you
What it smells like
Whether it’s better for office, college, brunch, or casual outings
Looking forward to your recommendations. Thanks! 😊
I came across their ad on Facebook and I was genuinely intrigued. They only seem to have launched the discovery set as of now. The scent profiles of three of them seem generic and common but the last one - 'Last night in Thailand' with notes of Mango, coconut milk, pandan, sticky rice, steam creme is something I've never seen in an Indian brand. I'm probably going to wait for reviews on YouTube and reddit before trying this one out because I gave in to the hype of Blur, Muse beauty and Gush beauty only to be disappointed with their products. Let's hope they aren't just another marketing gimmick but genuinely a good product line.
First of all thanks to the people of this sub who shared the deal on naseem asmira, i was one of the few lucky ones who ordered this for 1250₹ !!
After wearing it for 2 days i am sharing my initial impressions. This is a very feminine leaning soft floral, fruity and musky fragrance. Slightly sweet cherry blended very well with white florals with added creaminess to it. Its a very close to skin type of fragrance perfect for girl like me who cant wear and handle heavy perfumes around me. Its a very clean girl type of a scent profile.
Performance could be slightly better on this but not bad i will say, lasts on clothes for around 6 hours with 40-50 mins of close to skin projection like 1-2 ft .
If you are looking for something like it, can try it once.
So one of my friends is getting married this year. She has bestowed upon me the duty of short listing her wedding perfumes. She like very mild aquatic floral and soothing perfumes.
I have already suggested her the likes of Issey Miyake Magnolia, Zara blooming bouquet and Gucci flora Magnolia.
She has decided on Gucchi flora Magnolia as her wedding perfume.
She has liked all of them and wants to buy something similar, but under budget just for touching up between the ceremonies as Gucci Magnolia is super expensive and has poor longevity.
Any suggestions?
I’m a longtime Baccarat Rouge 540 fan. Love it in EDP, the oil, the whole DNA. Something about it makes me feel comfy and cozy as if the chai is on simmer during slow evenings…
Lately I’ve noticed that specific burnt sugar / saffron-ish sweetness in it (in the clone I’ve been using) is giving me a weirdly anxious, almost overstimulated feeling instead of the cozy vibe I used to get. Nothing else has changed in my routine, so I’m trying to figure out if this is:
1. Scent fatigue/sensitization from wearing it too much OR
2. Just the Dubai dupes being poorly blended versions of that note (cheaper aroma chemicals, harsher saffron substitutes, etc.) rather than the real accord or
3. Something unrelated to the fragrance entirely
Has anyone else gone through a phase where a scent you used to find soothing started feeling off? Feeling lost 🫤
I wanted to not initially do these perfume reviews, because I was like... no, someone must be really happy with these perfumes and I can't hate on these. Also, I usually do very detailed reviews, but I don't even want to spend a lot of time talking about these two. So here are two mini hate reviews. And I'm pretty sure a lot of people will be mad at me for thinking these perfumes are shit but, trust me, I did give them a chance.
Lattafa Eclaire: Bring out the pitchforks. I HATE this scent. I'm pretty sure I'm totally nose blind to the vanilla they use for this because all I could smell from this was the damn coumarin. As soon as I sprayed it, it smelled of burnt leather or rubber. I was like, okay, big deal. I can just macerate it like I did to my Plum Smokin Vanilla. I kept it for three months, and it was only a sample size so I expected at least some maceration. Nope. It only smelled worse. Then I was like, okay, let's just finish it up. I wore it to work, just a few sprays, nothing more. My senior told me it smelled like someone had opened up a pack of biscuits.
And that's the part I hate! Everyone can smell it apart from me. And I've even gotten compliments from Eclaire, but I hate how I smell nothing but burnt leather. I wish I could smell that intricate scent profile everyone keeps talking about. But I hate that I can't have that experience. I wish I had just spent that mony on a Plum perfume, I'm so pissed. Thankfully it was only a sample, but it still hurts trying to finish up a sample I hate.
Khadlaj Cloud Candy: Strawberry cough syrup. There. It just smells like that. I can't believe how people are worried about its longevity while it smells like cough syrup and on me it lasts like 8 hours! I wish it were a bit lighter, you know. I doesn't smell like candy, it doesn't smell like marshmallows. It just smells like synthetic strawberry, and everytime I open it, it smells like death. It feels like I have either gotten a bad batch in both this and Eclair, or I'm just nose blind to a lot of notes. Everytime I spray it, I want to die.
Is it only me, or are there any others that don't like either of these perfumes? I've been searching for some reviews that reflect my views but I've never seen anyone bash these. Which makes me feel like I might have some issues with batch, or maybe I'm nose blind to some vanilla notes, which sucks because vanilla is one of my favourite notes.
I wanted to understand my collection better so I don't repeat frags of the same scent profiles and avoid redundancy. Also to know what kind of frags I naturally lean towards.
This analysis was really good. I am posting the highlights.
I would recommend this to someone who is into the hobby and planning to build a collection mindfully. Analysis really help.
(Mods let me know if it is an incorrect flair. I will do the needful)
Good afternoon everyone!
What’s your SOTD? Drop it below and let’s chat about it. 💬
Already wrote a passionate hate post about Libre, so why not come out and confess about the others. I can cut Coco Vanille some slack here, it's not 'disguRsting' like the other two.
What are some scents that are really hyped but you hate? Let's have a fun discussion.
Hello everyone, I am a 21-year-old who recently started my mandatory internship. Until recently, I have been using Bella Vita. To be very honest, I have liked their fragrances, but now I want to switch and try different brands. Recently, I purchased two perfumes from Oud by Idol, and I really liked them. However, I obviously cannot use them every day due to budget constraints. I wanted to know if there are any perfumes under Rs 800 that can get me compliments and project for about 5-6 hours. If there are any, please let me know. I like woody and citrusy fragrances
A friend of mine bought these from BBW Canada SAS to bring it when he visits me here in India. I've got to choose a couple of products from this lot. I don't have any BBW products in my collection except 'The sweetest song' which I love. Need reviews of these scents if you've tried any of these.
TIA :')
I'm a gourmand girl through and through. Vanilla and coconut are my favorite notes and I love smelling warm, cozy and edible lol
But now that it's hot, humid and monsoon season, I feel like those scents might be a bit too much, especially for college.
I have no idea what to switch to. I don't know if I'd like fresh, floral or fruity (maybe fruity?) I'd love something that's still a little sweet but works better in warm weather.
Budget: under ₹1000, preferably with decent longevity. Please drop your recommendations!
i keep gravitating towards aquatic fragrances without even trying lol 😭
current lineup:
D&G Light Blue
Jo Malone Wood Sage & Sea Salt
Davidoff Cool Water Woman
Zara Lightly Bloom
would love recs for feminine aquatics. doesn’t have to be niche tho, just something that captures that fresh, watery vibe 🏖️🌊💙
I dont have money to buy it right now but if somebody does please post reviews
