As the year is officially coming to an end, I wanted to do a Project Pan! With the number of fragrances I’ve collected over the years, it would honestly be a shame not to do one 🤭 I’ve brought out all the fragrances where I only have around 20 -30 ml left.

This Project Pan is also for my own sanity because the way I’ve built my collection, at this point it’s all over the place 😭 I’m trying to streamline it as much as I can, so here’s the list:

- Lattafa Atheeri - Let me start by saying I already have a backup bottle of this because I genuinely can’t do without it. It’s such a beautiful fragrance. It smells like a dewy, sweet floral sitting out in the sun. This one never fails to get me compliments, in my experience. Somebody or the other always seems to like it and say something about it. I’ve already finished this bottle 🤭

- Fragrance World Elysia Pista Sundae - I really like this perfume! It smells like an airy pistachio ice cream. Sweet, but not heavy. Gourmand, but not overpowering. It’s such a cutesy perfume!

- Burberry Goddess - One of my favourites, and it has become so sweet and spicy with time! The ginger and lavender kick has become so much stronger. Love, love it. But I don’t think I would repurchase it because I actually find its dupe much better in comparison.

- Arabiyat Prestige Cranberry Musk - I’ll be so upset when this finishes! It’s fresh, musky and aquatic. It’s not overly sweet or loud, but it smells amazing. It honestly smells so expensive for its price tag. I love, love it. I may repurchase it, but probably not anytime soon.

- Dolce & Gabbana My Devotion Intense My absolute favourite one. I’ll genuinely be devastated when this finishes 😭 I don’t usually buy backup bottles of perfumes, but this one deserves one! To me, it’s a pear blossom fragrance through and through. As it settles, the peony starts to shine, the fruity aspect fades a little, and it turns into this gorgeous sweet floral. It’s so feminine and flirty! It’s so Elle Woods-coded. I can literally imagine her smelling like this 🤭

- Fragrance World Elysia Lychee Fizz - This is a dupe of Kayali Sparkling Lychee, and I would say it’s a pretty good one. It’s light and breezy, sweet but in an airy way, and quite fruity. It definitely has a very youthful feel to it. I usually don’t like describing fragrances as “young,” but that’s honestly the vibe I get from this one. I actually think it could have worked really well as a body mist too.

- JPG La Belle Paradise Garden- This is a very dewy, ozonic scent. But there’s this weird coconut-oil smell that I seem to get from almost the entire La Belle line 😭 It is very, very fresh, but after a while I just can’t tolerate that particular note on me. Definitely not repurchase-worthy for me.

Two perfumes I’ll bring out if I finish some of these way too quickly 🤓

- Chloé Atelier des Fleurs Vanilla Planifolia - This is such a green vanilla. It smells like vanilla sitting somewhere in the middle of a lush green forest. Sometimes I really like it, and sometimes I don’t care for it at all. So I think it’s a good one to finally finish off.

- YSL Black Opium - This was THE perfume my boyfriend absolutely loved on me, so of course I kept repurchasing it whenever I finished a bottle 😂 But now, after accumulating way too many perfumes, he barely cares what I’m wearing anymore. He’ll just tell me whether something smells nice or not 😭 I’ve personally loved Black Opium for years too, but I think I’m finally over it. It’s that sweet coffee-vanilla type of scent, and I’m ready to move on from it.

Some bits & pieces about last month’s tray:

1. Rayhaan Jungle Vibe – This was my favourite last month. I’ve officially made up my mind to buy the original because if the dupe smells this amazing, I need to experience the real thing.

2. Fragrance World Eau de Soleil – Such a long-lasting scent! I really enjoy this one, especially on those light, easygoing days.

3. Giorgio Armani Si – Finished it, and honestly so happy about it 😂

4. Mykonos Slow Living – Finished this one too. I wouldn’t repurchase it, but I really enjoyed having it in my collection.

5. Chloé Atelier des Fleurs Vanilla Planifolia – My thoughts are already above!

6. Parfums de Marly Meliora – My garden-pond fairy fragrance of dreams 🧚🏻‍♀️

7. YSL Libre Flowers & Flames – Finished it and happy about it.

8. Bath & Body Works Guilty as Fig – I like this one so much. Now I seriously can’t wait to get Father Figure!

What do you guys have on your tray for this month? 👀

This tray has come out of nothing… like seriously, nothing. I’ve been trying to buy things from my wishlist, and I’ve been so disinterested in doing anything. This could also be because I’ve been chasing the high from one fragrance to another, and it has been killing the joy of what I already have.

I’ve also realised that I just don’t like using my expensive perfumes. I’m scared they’ll be over, but that’s exactly why we use them.. for them to be over and for us not to regret that we were unable to use them.

So, I’ve pulled out one of my expensive perfume and also some perfumes that genuinely make me happy, so I can enjoy using what I have rather than chasing the high!

- Rayhaan Jungle Vibe - This is a perfume that is a dupe of Dries Van Noten Santal Greenery! Oh my, is this a gorgeous perfume? It’s bright, citrusy, green, woody, and fresh all in one. It’s so, so beautiful. Of course, it doesn’t compare to Santal Greenery, as that’s creamy, woody, and spicy, but it’s a good light scent. So, so beautiful.

- Fragrance World Eau De Soleil - We all know my love for Atheeri (dupe of Gorgeous Orchid from Gucci), and this is no less. This is the same, but with an added banana note. It’s equally airy but a tad bit sweeter. I absolutely love it. Wouldn’t repurchase, though, because Atheeri takes the cake! 🤭

- Giorgio Armani Si - I cannot tell you how obsessed I was with this perfume. I think I may be on my 4th or 5th bottle of this, but oh, how my nose has changed, and I absolutely do not like this anymore. This is not hate-hate; I can still bear it, but it’s no longer absolute love. I just wanna pan it this month and will never repurchase. It’s warm, sweet, and feminine… that’s the best way I can describe it!

- Mykonos Slow Living - If you know me, you would know I’m easy to influence, and if I see any perfume being hyped around, then I need it in my collection anyhow! Idk what it is duping, but I love it. It’s a little sharp at the beginning and doesn’t have anything to warm it up, so it feels a little dry. But it’s beautiful! It’s like fresh laundry drying in the sun. It opens very bergamot and lemon-heavy and then dries down into a smooth laundry smell.

- Chloe Atelier Des Fleurs Vanilla Planifolia - I grabbed this perfume because I wanted something from the ADF collection, and I was so sad that I was unable to grab Cedrus (thank God I was unable to because I don’t like it much). This is a very green, summery vanilla! It’s delicate, airy, and green. It’s so, so beautiful. It isn’t heavy, which makes it perfect for summers. If you’re a vanilla lover, this one is for you… I mean, for you for summers.

- Parfums De Marly Meliora - A few days ago, there was a post here on the sub about pond fairy fragrances, and all three fragrances were pond fairy perfumes for sure… but this? This is also one of them, but emphasis on someone who is a pond and forest fairy! This is green with berries and has a delicate floral presence with cool morning air. I have fallen in love with this fragrance again and have realised why I loved it in the first place.

- YSL Libre Flowers & Flames - In my opinion, anybody who has disliked Libre has loved this flanker. To me, this smells okay. It’s sweeter, younger, and coconutty. I find the OG Intense version far better.

- Bath & Body Works Guilty as Fig - This is a sweet, airy fig that is musky. I’m using it up as I’ve got Father Figure, so I wanted to get rid of it. However, I’ve finished it now.

4. Rayhaan Divine - Finished it and got another bottle… now regretting this purchase.

5. Armani Privé Pivoine Suzhou - My favourite! ❤️

6. Giorgio Armani Ocean Di Gioia - Finished it 🤭

8. Juliette Has a Gun Vanilla Vibes - Done with this!

9. Bvlgari Dolce Estasi - Done with this, regrettably.

I really really love the idea of perfume trays because it makes you finish a perfume and also make you understand how much of a blind buyer you are and waste so much of money just buying whatever appeals to the nose without trying it on you for long or thinking yourself of wearing in multiple different settings!

I have come to realise that I should be strict with myself and use my perfumes if I have bought it and streamline it also when I have not used it in 6 months or not craved to use it multiple times.

This perfume tray is an accumulation of all those thoughts and i have brought out those perfumes which were not being used and I didn’t wanted to get rid of it also.

- Naseem Fragrance Oil - I have Charme and Zephyr. Both are in a very different fragrance family and so good to use in different ways! Charme is a cherry fragrance like a dark feminine energy type and zephyr is your aquatic fresh one. I’m enjoying layering them with all my perfumes and making them long lasting.

- Fragrance World Elysia Pista Sundae - I tried attempting a project pan last year where I panned multiple fragrances and form them one was Paris Corner Khair Pistachio which I absolutely loved! I was craving the same DNA and thought I should get an alternative which should be 50 ML. I like the fragrance it’s a very sweet airy kind of fragrance. However I think I’m done with this DNA and will not buy it because I also have the Kayali one in 10 ML which will suffice this craving.

- Paris Corner Vibrant Vetiver - This is apparently a dupe of Bal D Afrique from Byredo.. I haven’t tested the VV with BDA side by side even though I have the latter. With this DNA the issue is that it just doesn’t last. It’s a good fragrance and a must have for a very hot day. This is also the fragrance which I don’t wanna get rid of so I’m trying to use it and maybe finish it. I know I can’t this month, maybe the next time I pull it out.

- Rayhaan Divine - This is an absolutely favourite fragrance in my collection and also said to be a dupe of LV Attrape Reves.. don’t know how much close they smell but I really like this DNA. This is such a fresh bright joyful fragrance in my opinion. It’s a very soft feminine fragrance. Perfect for office also!

- Armani Prive Pivoine Suzhou - This one smells very clean and fresh. Sometimes, I, as a fragrance enthusiast always try to find the most complex fragrance and the high of being the most mysterious or different smelling person in the room. But with this hobby what I have realised is that having this simple smelling perfumes is what I admire the most, what gets picked everyday as well and makes my money worth! It’s a very elegant perfume which isn’t that long lasting but I don’t mind reapplying it.

- Giorgio Armani Ocean Di Gioia - last year I was in a quest to collect all the di gioia collection.. and after acquiring 3 in that collection I just stopped. Because it’s a waste of money. None of the perfume in the collection last for more than 2-3 hours and isn’t even there as a skin scent. It disappears way before I have my lunch in the day.. & it’s an early lunch! However smell wise it’s very fresh, aquatic, light and an easy grab perfume. Perfect for very very hot summer days!

- Fragrance World Elysia Lychee Fizz - This perfume is a dupe of Kayali Eden Sparkling Lychee. And I have both but I never compared them side by side so I don’t have any idea how similar they smell. But what I can recall is that I find sparkling lychee more fizzy and sharp then lychee fizz. It’s fruity, tart and sweet.

- Juliette Has a Gun Vanilla Vibes - This is 5 ML vial that I have had since long. And I feel like it’s a perfect perfect time to bring it out and use it up. It’s a salty vanilla with a hint of the sunscreen smell. Smells good but it isn’t that great that will turn it into a full bottle.

- Bvlgari Dolce Estasi - I just blind bought it last year and since then it was just sitting in my shelf rotting.. I thought to bring it out and wear it. However, now I absolutely hate it, seems like the notes of citrus, musk and heliotrope on my skin smells like a burnt wood. Very very disappointed in this but my mom have liked it enough to use it.. so I’m happy that it is being used atleast.

1. Dolce & Gabbana My Devotion EDP - This has been a favourite last month and I’m going to stock up a full bottle of this soon!
2. JPG La Belle Fleur Terrible EDP - Good perfume but with JPG I’ve noticed I get a weird coconut oil type smell to it. This will not be added in my collection after I finish it.
3. Narciso Rodriguez Musc Noir - Such a great fragrance for office.. I will not repurchase it but will enjoy using it till I can.
4. Paris Corner Coconut Lagoon - Instantly used to put me in a party mood! Such a good fragrance.
5. Arabiyat Prestige Cranberry Musk - It’s a repurchase worthy perfume in my collection. I find the whole musk collection of Arabiyat Prestige to be just very amazing.
6. Giorgio Armani Acqua Di Gioia - Finished this and so happy! Good perfume but just wouldn’t last.
7. Marc Jacobs Daisy Wild - This is a very good non offensive perfume which will instantly make you happy. However I want to buy a bottle of it but only when I crave for the scent. Having too many bottles, I should be way too strict with my spendings.
8. YSL Libre Platine - I was unable to finish it though.. however I’m happy my mom is here so she was the one who finished it.
