Okay so I used to play Diablo 2 a lot back when it first came out....however I pretty much just beat the game on Normal with each class, and lost interest in Nightmare. I just beat Baal on my Warlock, and am wanting to get to hell...but idk shit about anything passed normal mode. So far I have just made the Leaf, and Stealth runewords and breezed through Normal with random other gear. I am level 33, pretty much all my skill points have been dumped into Ring Of Fire, Flame Wave, and Apocalypse, and I am wanting some advice on what I should be doing before heading to nightmare. Should I do the Cow Level? Should I use my respec and switch things up? Should I farm runes? Any specific gear I should snag before heading into Nighmare? Pretty much all I know about Nightmare is enemies have alot more resistance to things, and i need to have alot more resistance to things.

I keep hearing of wild variance in heralds spawning in TZ...I've run whole TZ acts without seeing a single one. I thought there were supposed to be some guaranteed ones that spawn, no?

So what it takes now?

It seems that cursed is still useful even with lower chance of proc. I think that Holy Freeze is now the way to go, or maybe lighting ench. So given the new abundance of shards and heralds the farming approach I came up with is something like this:

1. Roll the game with Holy Freeze/Cursed Hephasto but don't bind him
2. Do the souls trick (no demon makes it easier imo)
3. Bind Hephasto
4. Terrorize Act 2 and farm carefully

Also hex/echoing build is better now? My idea now is something like that:

• Levitation Mastery - 20
• Echoing - 20
• Mirror Blades - 20
• Hex: Bane - 20 (and use it)
• Bind Demon - 15 (for Hephasto)
• Consume - 1
• Rest into Hex: Purge

What are your thoughts on this?

Can you no longer bind a demon with conviction aura? My Hephasto had one before the patch but lost it

found last rune for pride and don`t know, if it still worth it on 3.2 patch. playing es warlock

Did they disable the souls dance easter egg in new patch? I spent about an hour now trying to get them to do their thing, I'm pretty sure it was correct, but they refused.

Season 14 is launching this week, and I’m trying to decide what to start with.

Warlock still looks interesting after the Patch 3.2 changes, but I’m not sure if it will still feel like a strong ladder starter or if it’s better to begin with something safer.

What are you planning to start with, and did the PTR/patch notes change your choice?

Taking another break after an enjoyable season. I was able to finish rune chronicle, reach 97% set and 87% unique. But anyways, does anyone need any gear/runes/shards/statues. I got a lot of end game gear. Just gave away my lock gears. RIP lock. Just lmk what you guys need. PC Ladder USA. Will try to be fair.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Blizzard for listening to brown nosing influencers and completely ruining the Warlock. After all these years we get something new and fascinating, only to have the rug pulled out from under us....

At least I have a Javezon fallback...for now...

I play a Warcry Barb and need insight so i cant use Reapers or Dreadfang merc.. usually its not a big deal since since i have latent Bone breaker+Physical Ancient jewel with both -10 Physical res so normal Stoneskin mobs die fairly quickly

However it takes almost 25 Minutes to kill a Stoneskin Herald and i need a plan B for them

So where can i best farm/Shop for either saves with Decrep or Amp Damage

The only thing I can think of is ladder has a time limit then it's over...but doesn't your character convert to non ladder afterwards?

So why do prices for items differ?

Never played ladder so asking.
