After moving away from Arc, I tested several well-known and lesser-known browsers. However, Dia has proven to be an excellent choice. While it increasingly mirrors Arc across many of its features, it successfully retains its own distinct identity.
For now, I have paused my search for the "perfect browser"—I believe I've found it in Dia!

I asked a while ago but does Dia still drain Macbook battery? Considering switching back from Helium because I miss the organization of tabs in Dia.

I've tried Dia on and off since it's released, and it's slowly getting to the point where I might switch from Arc. But there are two issues that remain, and they sound stupid:

1. Opening new tabs from your Pins/Groups by default open inside the group, rather than outside of it. I know there is a setting and it's maybe a bug, but it doesn't work. I have email, calendar, and drive in my favourites, then I have a group of pinned tabs that I cycle through for work. When new tabs open inside that group, it destroys my setup.
2. The design of these pinned tabs in Arc is better—I like the horizontal line without indentation.

My other pet peeve was resolved from a setting—to prioritise Search over Chat when opening a new tab.

I want to ask others if there is anything stopping them from moving over?
