Am I the asshole or is it kind of weird to spread a full bag of someone’s ashes on a green at a huge tournament? Mid tournament? Context: the Sun King dudes spread a large bag of ashes on hole 6 at USDGC/Throw Pink. I could maybe understand sprinkling a handful….but the whole bag? I don’t think I would want my disc landing in someone lol. Also the amount of players that lick their fingers then touch their disc, then lick their fingers again? Idk lmk if I’m the only one that thinks this is weird.

Rule 807.B states: “In order to complete a hole with a basket target, the thrower must release the disc and it must come to rest supported by the tray or the chains below the chain support.”

The card discussed whether this situation could be considered “supported by chains.” Ultimately, the card ruled that it was not holed out.
