My Disc Golf Fanatics club and I have officially completed building 15 brand-new BIG teepads for the local course, Järve discgolfpark, which we manage. Järve course is the single most popular course in Estonia, around ~40,000 rounds recorded in 2025.

New teepad size: 14 ft by 5 ft (4.3 m x 1.5 m)

Total cost: ~3150€ (~$3,700)

A total of ~38 hours of work.

We are in the process of finishing up the work on the newly designed Pro and Am layouts. Both layouts are now a bit harder, but they play similar fairways to the old layouts. To freshen things up, we made some basket location changes and pushed a few teepads back a bit as well. It opened up quite a few new lines for players to hit.

Building new and larger teepads for the Am layout was one of the top priorities for this season because the vast majority of rounds are recorded on that specific layout. The old teepads were just too small and started to collect rainwater in the middle due to sagging.

The Pro layout has been using similar-sized teepads since 2019 and they still hold up well. Hopefully these will last quite some time as well! We just need to swap out the turf from time to time due to the extreme amount of rounds played at the course.

Hosted a disc golf event named Battlefield at the end of Soppe road 2026 for friends and family, here's a few pictures:

A private disc golf event I’ve hosted annually for the third time for friends and family on a custom-designed 16-hole course on my grandparents’ land. The road leading up to the land is named Soppe road after my grandfather’s last name (also my last name), hence the event name.

Why 16 holes? Because my Disc Golf Fanatics club has 16 members.

With plenty of fun special rules such as using incredibly understable Prodigy F9s for one whole hole, worst shot doubles, throwing with a non-dominant hand, object golf (no basket, just a pole), mandatories with no mando lines and much more.

+ the delicious food!

After round 2 of 3, players had the chance to release some pressure by throwing tableware into the basket 😅 (video in the comments)

The problematic blind corridor shot to the green is now easier, as the OB area has been widened and the corridor itself is a hazard area with OB on the sides. So instead of rethrowing until you make it to the island or at least cross the island to advance to the drop zone, a player can advance to the corridor and have a much easier upshot from the hazard area.

Last year it was a par 5, and for MPO the average score was 6.19 strokes. That's +1.19 strokes over par during two rounds for the best players in the world.

For FPO it was a massacre out there. The average score was 8.18 strokes. +3.18 strokes over par during two competition rounds.

//Edited - Specified rules a bit more.
