Music library suddenly a mess?

Hi all,

I’m new to this software, and started adding my music into it….but now it’s all of a sudden gotten into an unmanageable mess?!

60% of tracks play fine, the other 40% complain about the file being missing?

I use the “locate missing file” prompt to navigate to the external drive (and music genre sub folder) but it still refuses to find it???

I go back into the main library, delete the broken linked original file, and try and drag it back into the library window from the appropriate folder location on the external disk….but DJ Studio gives me no feedback or indication that it copied over???

I then go to search for it in the DJ Studio library…but it doesn’t appear??

I must be doing something wrong…I just can’t work out what?

As I’m still early days, am I just better off deleting everything from the library and starting from scratch?
If so, how?

On the fence about buying DJ.Studio because of the update being limited to 12-months

First off, the software is great.

I understand why they wouldn't want to provide lifetime free updates, but limiting it to 12-months is putting me on the fence about buying it.

I use DJ.Studio for fun (I don't use it as a part of my profession). I could see myself making 3-4 mixes, and then not touching the software again for a long time.

I understand that this may make you wonder why I care about updates. The reason is because it would kind of suck if a big update was released which made DJ.Studio more easy & efficient to use. I would kind of being annoyed using the old/slower way of doing things unless I paid more money.

Does anyone else feel the same way?

For those who don't feel the same way - please give me the nudge I need to buy it (which is over $200 CAD) haha.
